She says that now that the elections are over and the Ds won in VA and NJ, Schumer will try for a day or two to use that to wring concessions out of Trump to get their vote to reopen government.
That will fail, and in a day or two Schumer will releases his hold on his D minions in the Senate and they will pass the CR.

My daughter has an internship at a zoo. She said 2 of the male giraffes are gay. The other male giraffe is uninterested. There is no female giraffe because the males would fight if there was one and nobody wants a giraffe fight.
She also told me zebras are unpleasant a-holes. They stand under the giraffe feeding stations to eat hay that falls to the ground. Apparently, giraffes require better quality hay and the zebras are pissed.
