  5. That’s a good ship.

Yeah, I am sure the glacier thing is impressive. It will probably be around $600 for 2 persons. The helicopter is $500+ per person.

To be honest, its not the helicopter that worries me it is the number of aircraft flying around on visual rules only.

The advantage of the helicopter is that it leaves you on the glacier and picks you up later.

The ship does go to a fjord that has a glacier up close. I am not sure how flying around to see it is that much better.

You can also book a boat tour that goes even closer for about $300 pp.

  8. Jeff G,

There is a mix here, AZ-06 is rated by most as a pure tossup, IA-03 as tossup or lean GOP.

The rest are considered likely R or strong/safe R.

So they are not terrific polls for the GOP candidates, but not terrible either.

  9. AI is not very encouraging for the Iranians

While military programs generally train dolphins for mission readiness over 5 to 7 years, the U.S. Navy and most experts maintain that training them specifically to attack ships is impractical and likely impossible. [

Current military programs, such as the U.S. Navy Marine Mammal Program, focus on defensive tasks rather than offensive “attacks”

Bonding: Handlers often spend at least one year simply building a bond of trust with the animal before advanced task training begins.

Mission Readiness: It typically takes 5 to 7 years for a dolphin to be fully trained for complex naval missions.”

  11. It’s 5 de Mayo!

It’s a great day.because I get to celebrate this important and momentous cultural heritage day and drink Don Julio margaritas and eat skirt steak tacos with guacamole.

My wife is suspicious that the latter is much more important to me than the former, but I am going to surprise her by having little Mexican flags to stir the margaritas with.

Then I will wait for the apologies.

    And wait….and wait….

    “Shocking accusations”.

So we have “godly”, “polite”, “apolitical”, “quiet”, “respected”, “tutor” and “engineer”.

Goofball…first stop, drug store. He says he has to take a stoop sample in for them to test prior to his upcomimg procedure (colonoscopy). He gers on the car and is carrying a large sack that he is holding gingerly. Goes into drug stor with his sack. Comes out.Says well now I know what to do now that they explained it to me.

APPARENTLY, he was taking one of his whole turds in a sack to the drug store. Did not understand he was supposed to take a small sample of his output and smear ot on a test strip and take that back to them.

And these people vote, drive, etc.

obviously parents and siblings, a grandfather, good friends I went to school with and grew up with in my little town.

Several men and women in my community and church like some strong church leaders, little league coach.

A few teachers in graded school and high school. One high school coach.

    Some good college buddies.

    Wife, of course.

    Brother in law.

My ex girlfriend when I was senior in college made the list. Made a big influence in my life. Ot her. The breakup and years thereafter that affected me on a not so good way.

Overweight significantly, face/nose/eyebrow piercings, huge tattoos coving their forearms, legs, half their neck, slovenly dressed, somewhat unkempt look about them…not sexy looking at all… I would i.maginr that few of them share my same values…

they all might be nice people but score 0 on my attractability scale.

When I was single and in my mid 20s about 2/3 of 16-35 year old rated as 6s to 10s on a 10 point scale.

  34. our WV May primary is fast approaching

    Big split among Rs.

Gov. Morrisey out campaigning against incumbent R Delegates and Senators. He also has a PAC spending millions

First time ever any WV governor of either party is throwing hands in his own party’s primary.

Ugly campaigns all across the state.

U.S. Sen. Shelley Moore Capito is supporting, endorsing, donating thru her PAC to support many of the incumbents .orrisey is opposing.

some if the split is over what side to take on building data centers in WV. Two are being planned here in my county, others on other counties.

Results on May 14 should be interesting…

And another thing… The world and our cou try have cha ged drastically from what it was when the founders drew up the constitution and said we have a census every 10 years, reapportion how many House seats each state gets and then states redraw congressional districts.

we have SIGNIFICANT movement of people within the U.S. every year. Not sensible to reapportion and redraw every year… but what about doing it every 5 years from here on out?

AND… if you EVER (before you become a U.S. citizen or afterward) been convicted of defrauding the U.S. or state or city government of more than $1,000 you lose you your right to vote forever.
