    I think Trump is trying to get Saudi Arabia and the UAE to join the Abraham Accords.

    This would be a major achievement and could be a factor on why Trump is not taking a more aggressive approach.

    I think there are things going on that we don’t know about and perhaps Trump has good information that the embargo will bring about more results than just bombing.

    For that reason I am giving him the benefit of the doubt on the current approach.

    The same people accusing him of bombing without a plan are now accusing him of not bombing without a plan.

    I think Phil’s theory that Trump is being hoodwinked by the Iranians is very unlikely.

    Trump wants to project optimism on the talks, but that doesn’t mean he is being fooled.

    You can’t have it both ways.

    Either you agree that he should take into account what the allies in the region and elsewhere think, or you agree that he should just do what he wants and ignore them.

    To overcome a 33k vote advantage the commie would need a massive advantage on the leftover votes.

    SCREW all the illegals who cut in front of my mother and unlike, her, signed up to get on the dole (3/5 of them or better receive some sort of subsidy whilst here, be it emergency room care that is passed off to the rest of us via higher insurance premiums, and/or public education benefits for their kids get all the way up to post-graduate studies for those capable enough of defrauding the United States). Almost none of those unassimilated arsehats have a legal much less moral right to be here, they need to be kicked out en masse.

    The general consensus is that Newsome’s plan backfired at least somewhat.

    There was a much stronger turnout among Rs than expected, even in the early vote.

  65. In CA-06 the two Republicans that had finished thus far #1 and #2 increased by 18% in late ballots counted thus far, while the Democrat vying for a top two finish increased by 33% and is now in second.

    Other Dems down the ballot increased by 23%, 26%, 27% and 31%

    Ballots counted on election night were 49% GOP and 51% Dem, and the ones counted since have been 37% GOP and 63% Dem.

    About half of the stuff on Walt’s list I see absolutely no problem with.

    Specifically, redrawing CDs, WWE wrestling, Jared Kushner, firing Cabinet members, and new ballroom. None of that bothers me in the least.

    A couple others are just Trump trolling, like Canada 51st state and President of Venezuela or taking Greenland by force. None of that it serious.

    I agree with some of the other criticism, I don’t see any need for an arch, name on building, on money, and I don’t approve of many of his self defeating attacks on other Rs and the Fed Chairman.

    But of course , Walt might want to point out which Presidents he knew (I know, he knew all of them) did not say things that weren’t accurate.
