I guess that was a mistake…..
Fairfax launched his own bid for governor in 2021, but finished fourth in the Democratic primary after his campaign was heavily overshadowed by sexual assault allegations from two women.
Fairfax adamantly denied the women’s allegations and said both encounters were entirely consensual. Cerina stood by his side throughout the scandal“

It should be noted that the “consensual relationships” happened during the marriage.
Last Friday, Virginia Governor Ralph Northam was on the verge of being forced from office over a 35-year-old photo that surfaced of him in either blackface or a KKK robe and Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax looked to be in the catbird’s seat to succeed Northam. On Sunday, Dr. Vanessa Tyson let it be known that Fairfax had engaged in forcible sodomy with her at the DNC convention in 2004

Ex-Democrat?
He changed parties? Or the MSM would never admit a Democrat would do such a thing?

DId he hide the gun after he killed himself?
Sounds like it.
Police believe the murder happened in the basement of the home and at some point after shooting his wife, Justin Fairfax ran upstairs of the home to the primary bedroom, where he shot himself. He used the same gun, but police have not recovered it yet.“

I saw the picture of their $1 million house.
It would sell for about $250k here in Bittersville.

I think the Arch is way too big and ugly. An Arch closer to the scale of the Arch de Triumph and without the crappy gold would be okay. And it should say ‘E pluribus unum’ or a line from the Declaration of Independence instead of a line from the ‘Pledge of Allegiance’..

Are you sure? It has indoor plumbing. That has to be worth something.

BL, no question LAD has the payroll to finance a strong team. Ohtani may very well be the best ever. Both, I suppose, can be true.
My point was to highlight what a joke the Mets are. The caliber of ball play I witnessed from them (aside from some decent pitching in the first half of the game) was something to behold.

The Mets find a way to sign really good players for huge contracts who then…play like Mets.

switching from the Mets to the Phillies has been only a slight improvement

While Pope Francis voiced strong opposition to Iran’s executions calling them “crimes against God and humanity” very little if anything at all has come from Pope Leo XIV. I’ve read that Pope Leo does not like to intervene in the internal affairs of individual states but has voiced his hatred of the Iran War.
