“Over 850,000 Jews were expelled or forced to flee from Arab countries and Iran in the decades following Israel’s establishment in 1948, reducing ancient Jewish communities to near disappearance as they resettled largely in Israel. This mass exodus, spanning countries like Iraq, Egypt, Yemen, Morocco, and Libya, involved forced departures, confiscation of property, and violence, with some estimates suggesting the total number forced out approached one million”

“The greatest evil visited upon us by the non-fans who have taken over the Super Bowl is the halftime show abomination. The NFL rulebook states that, “Between the second and third periods, there shall be an intermission of 13 minutes.” Again, that’s from the official rules. Because the Super Bowl has very little to do with football, the rules are tossed out the window in order to appease the television network programming wraiths whose offices are in the ninth ring of Hell. The Super Bowl halftime show finishes a few minutes before Opening Day in Major League Baseball. A slow learner could get an associate’s degree during the Super Bowl halftime.

No true fan wants there to be extra time between the action of a football game. Oh, and we don’t care about the party cuisine either. Get the Lipton’s onion soup mix, make some dip, and get your idiotic commercial-loving butt away from the TV.

Since I don’t believe in coincidences, I read a lot into the rise in popularity of the Super Bowl and its attendant parties happening concurrently with the wussification of the game of football. Within ten years, I swear that the defenders will have to seek verbal permission to come in contact with the offense. In an effort to bring more fans to football, the NFL apparently believes that gutting everything that’s good about the game of football is the key. Roger Goodell (told you I didn’t like him) probably dreams of the day that NFL scores look like NBA scores.

I know that we real football fans will never get the Super Bowl back. Goodell’s vision board probably sees a day when there are four quarters of halftime performances, with 13 minutes of flag football between the second and third, and the games will be played in Stockholm or Buenos Aires (a rant for another day). Perhaps I’ll start a company that organizes Super Bowl parties for true fans. Membership will be predicated upon things like knowing the difference between encroachment and offside, or being able to name at least five players from the 1950s and ’60s. “

It’s not. The game is the vehicle for the woke agenda.

If you go through the MSM, there are more articles about the halftime show than there are about the game itself.

Do the people writing the articles love football? No, of course they don’t. But they love the fact they can use the game to influence the audience.

“A Colombian woman, unlawfully residing in Boston, was convicted today following a five-day jury trial in federal court in Boston of identity theft offenses, including receiving rental assistance, Social Security and Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits, as well as voter fraud under the stolen identity. The defendant also applied for a United States passport and obtained a Massachusetts Real ID and eight other state IDs.

Lina Maria Orovio-Hernandez, 59, was convicted of one count of false representation of a Social Security number; one count of making a false statement in an application for a United States passport; one count of aggravated identity theft; three counts of receiving stolen government money or property; and one count of fraudulent voting. Orovio-Hernandez was charged by superseding indictment in May 2025. She was previously charged in an indictment in February 2025 and has remained in federal custody since that time.

Orovio-Hernandez, a Colombian national without lawful status in the United States, has lived under a stolen identity for more than 20 years. Using the stolen identity, Orovio-Hernandez obtained nine state IDs, including a Massachusetts Real ID and applied for a U.S. passport.

Orovio-Hernandez also used the stolen identity to cast a fraudulent ballot in the November 2024 presidential election. In addition, Orovio-Hernandez improperly received approximately $400,000 in federal benefits: $259,589 in Section 8 rental assistance benefits from October 2011 through January 2025; $101,257 in Social Security disability benefits from July 2014 through January 2025; and $43,348 in SNAP benefits from April 2005 through January 2025.

    Nah. Not her decision.

Competitors don’t decide who will race, the coach does. The coach enters/removes competitors.

He/she didn’t have the balls to tell Vonn sorry, you don’t compete with a torn ACL.

Lindsey Vonn recently tore the ACL in her left knee during a training crash a week before the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina, but she still competed in the downhill event on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

  52. Surgery is required for a torn ACL unless an athlete wants to retire, but in any case requires intense therapy. It is especially required for pivoting/cutting motions, which is key to downhill sky racing.

Letting Vonn compete was sports malpractice by the coach. She only lasted 13 seconds on the course before crashing and requiring medivac, a very predictable outcome.

Vonn put a lot of effort into her comeback, so it is understandable she wanted to compete no matter what. But saner heads should have prevailed.

Vonn lost control within moments of leaving the start house, clipping a gate with her right shoulder and pinwheeling down the slope before ending up awkwardly on her back, her skis crisscrossed below her and her screams ringing out soon after medical personnel arrived. She was treated for long, anguished minutes as a hush fell over the crowd waiting far below at the finish line.

She was being “treated by a multidisciplinary team” and “underwent an orthopedic operation to stabilize a fracture reported in her left leg,” the Ca’ Foncello hospital said in a statement. Valero just paid a $1.1 billion breakup fee to leave California. When a company is willing to absorb a billion-dollar write-down just to exit a market, that’s not a routine business decision. It’s a signal that the operating environment no longer works. Valero is shutting down its Benicia refinery by April 2026 rather than continue operating under California’s current regulatory and economic framework. That facility processes roughly 145,000 barrels per day, about 8.6% of California’s gasoline supply. Around 400 jobs are lost. Local tax revenue takes a direct hit. With Phillips 66 also exiting, nearly 10% of California’s in-state refining capacity is coming offline in a short window. The analysts are already modeling the consequences. Economists at the University of California, Davis estimate a $ 1.20-per-gallon increase by summer 2026. Translation: your usual 15-gallon fill-up goes from $70 to $95+.”
