I think you need to pay more attention to diet. Since you will be bored in the hospital, see if they will let you consult a nutritionist.
Small changes might help, you don’t have to go on the jason diet. Like switching to sourdough bread.

I don’t know that changing my diet would prevent infections. I did not have these infections before I broke my leg. I need to speak with my surgeon and the infectious disease doctor what are the drawbacks to removing the hardware vs. leaving it in place.

Hey Mike, hope all’s good. I’m an observer. It doesn’t matter what I want changed, or not changed. Me wanting something isn’t gonna make a difference. Tribalism is a strong, and we are in the thick of it. Instead of being a participant in the endless mudslinging, I chose to step away years ago., and it was a great decision.
The topics that interest me are rarely brought up, like the national debt, us being declared insolvent, which is a big deal but not newsworthy apparently.
What do you think of the 2nd Trump term? Ready to nuke the filibuster? What does victory look like in Iran?

It looks exactly like we see it now, unless you watch CNN and the rest of the MSM.
Degrade the military-industrial capacity of Iran specifically as to their ability to produce nukes and long range ballistics missiles.
Weaken Iran’s ability to fund their proxies in Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, etc. and consequent reduction in their ability to attack Israel and influence politics throughout the Middle East.
Kill the top political/military leadership in Iran to give an opportunity for the opposition to grow and possibly take over. Make Iran choose between “guns and butter” so to speak if they want to divert their resources to rebuilding their military.
All these objectives have been reached already.
But the MSM and the Democrats are rooting for Iran because somehow an Iran “victory” is bad for Donald Trump.
