Personally, I think it is just as stupid and wrong as removing statues and renaming things already named for Confederate traitors. It is not a secret Washington owned slaves.

Weekend riddle for y’all… QUESTION: What’s the difference between a Minnesota Somali daycare center and ICE? ANSWER: There’s proof ICE takes care of kids.
Judge Provinzino ordered the release of Nekima Levy Armstrong and Chauntyll Allen, finding no flight risk despite DOJ felony charges for a church protest. William Kelly remains held, for now. While facing up to 10 years, the judge’s ruling treats them as low-risk, unlike the DOJ’s “attack” rhetoric.”
I need 4 seasons. 75 in January would make me sad.
Then you’ll be very happy when that cold front moves down here later this week and we hit the very cold 50s. I may even have to break out a jacket for that. BRrrr…
Why does Jason hate facts? How is it revisionism when we already know Washington had slaves? They were important because they were owned by the first President. Each slave was a human being, not a statistic. If Washington hasn’t been cancelled by now, he won’t be and should not be.
Our nation was built by immigrants. People from every region of the world have made lasting and important contributions to our society. We support legal immigration, but we won’t tolerate immigration by people whose first act is to break the law as they enter our country,” Clinton said.
“We must continue to do everything we can to strengthen our borders, enforce our laws, and remove illegal aliens from our country. As I said in my State of the Union address, we are a nation of immigrants, but we’re also a nation of laws. And it is wrong and ultimately self-defeating for a nation of immigrants to permit the kind of abuse of our immigration laws we have seen in recent years,” he continued.”
“Arguments from the political left criticizing the Founding Fathers often focus on their ownership of enslaved people, racism, and the exclusion of women and minorities from early American democracy. These critiques seek to re-evaluate the founders’ legacy by applying 21st-century standards of equality and social justice to the 18th-century context.”
Bitter has fallen hook, line and sinker for the far left revisionist woke agenda against the Founding Fathers.
He should know better, he should be smart enough to see through this obvious attempt to rewrite history in order to pursue a “modern” political narrative. The final objective of this effort is to claim the Constitution is “outdated” because it was written by such flawed people and it need to be “revamped”.
THAT is the intention of all these so called woke “historians”.
At the same time, Bitter claims that he is impervious to brainwashing.
Does the fact Washington owned slaves change anything about his role in the Revolutionary War, the founding of the nation, the Constitution or his Presidency?
No/
So the effort to define him as a “slave owner” instead of what he really contributed to the country is part of a wider effort to define the Founding Fathers as racist, misogynistic, etc. and then consequently to denigrate the Constitution because it was written by such “flawed” people.
The obsession about Washington owning slaves reminds me of wes’ obsession with GWB’s DUI, which in wes’ opinion defined the man and his Presidency.
Zzzzzzz. Of course the Left wants to discredit the Founders because they owned slaves and women and most white men had no political rights. The problem is that many Founders DID own slaves AND women and most white men had no political rights. Pointing that out was not woke for the past 250 years. It was factual. I take the “Yeah, but” approach to history. People sucked BUT the system they created allowed for things to improve. Is Jason arguing women and most men did have political rights?
Jason used to think slavery was evil. Now he thinks it is inconvenient.
He should know better, he should be smart enough to see through this obvious attempt to rewrite history in order to pursue a “modern” political narrative. The final objective of this effort is to claim the Constitution is “outdated” because it was written by such flawed people and it need to be “revamped”.
THAT is the intention of all these so called woke “historians”.”
Fact:
So the effort to define him as a “slave owner” instead of what he really contributed to the country is part of a wider effort to define the Founding Fathers as racist, misogynistic, etc. and then consequently to denigrate the Constitution because it was written by such “flawed” people.
Fact
The fact is woke revisionists “historians” are trying desperately to rewrite History for political purposes.
Finally, what AI says is also fact:
“Arguments from the political left criticizing the Founding Fathers often focus on their ownership of enslaved people, racism, and the exclusion of women and minorities from early American democracy. These critiques seek to re-evaluate the founders’ legacy by applying 21st-century standards of equality and social justice to the 18th-century context.”
Here are the only reasons you would think naming Washington’s slaves is important:
The slave was notable in a historical sense like leading a revolt, inventing a new agricultural implement, writing a book, bearing Washington’s child, etc.
According to Bitter, it is known Washington owned slaves for 250 years.
So why is it suddenly so important?
We know why it is so important. Because it is an easy way to denigrate him by emphasizing what is a footnote in his life while de-emphasizing what his real accomplishments were.
What Bitter ignores is that there were hundreds of thousands of slave owners. There was only one George Washington. Contrary to Bitter’s woke theory, slavery did not define George Washington.
It certainly defined his greatest flaw as a practitioner of an evil system. I have said for decades that without Washington, the Revolution would have failed. However, owning people was never right in history. Jason confuses what is legal and what is right. He used to agree slavery was evil. Now it is an inconvenient footnote to him. Wes would be proud.
Opposing slavery is not just applying 21st century standards. While it was legal in the Colonies, there were those opposed to it. It was outlawed in PA in 1780, NH and Mass in 1783, and CT and RI in 1784. Were they woke then?
Patrick Henry was another that spoke out of both sides of his mouth. An original ‘Founding Father’ he declared “Give me liberty or give me death” he also said that slavery was a ‘lametable evil’ that went against his religious beliefs but continued to buy and sell slaves (approx. 75) and never freed them.
An original…..’do as I say and not what I do.’ Total hypocrisy.
Opposing slavery was never woke. Lincoln (who the leftists are also trying to cancel) was certainly not woke.
What is woke is to try to rewrite history in order to pursue a Marxist agenda.
But you know that, you just can’t ever bring yourself to criticize wokeness.
The movement to “cancel” or re-evaluate Abraham Lincoln focuses on his perceived failures regarding racial equality and treatment of Native Americans, challenging his legacy as the “Great Emancipator”. Activists and some officials have sought to remove statues, such as the Emancipation Memorial in D.C., and rename schools like San Francisco’s Lincoln High”
I am not sure Washington thought it morally reprehensible to own slaves in the 1700’s.
If you are taught from an early age that blacks are inferior in intelligence and need to be wards of either society or the state, can you be attacked from a moral standpoint for believing it?
In Brazil, as late as 1973, Indians were considered wards of the state
“The 1973 Indian Statute continued a 1916 policy treating indigenous people as “relatively capable” and under state guardianship (tutelage) until they were “integrated” into national society.”
Given that, would a Brazilian citizen who believed Indians could therefore not vote or own property be a racist?
Maybe Washington did think it was wrong to own slaves, but it was an economic imperative.
If that is the case, I would agree it represents a flaw in his character.
But in view of his entire life, it still doesn’t define him.
In Germany, children were taught Jews were not human. In many areas of the Middle East, children are taught Jews are evil. It is absolutely wrong to teach this and not an excuse for those who believe it.
I don’t buy the current focus of woke history, but I do know racism when I see it and here it is –
A groundbreaking study reveals racial bias in jury convictions, “When we break down this study we find that
– Black juries have a 12% conviction rate against black defendants, vs a 59% against whites. So that indicates that there is a 47% interracial bias when you have black… pic.twitter.com/3xj55ACtX0
The dead anti-ICE protester seen here trying to organize a vehicle blockage and engaging with officers and other protesters before at least one officer identified a gun on his person was a nurse at the VA and a Democratic Party donor conduit to ActBlue.
When I start seeing our woke history naming the names of Martin Luther King’s mistresses and prostitutes, Obama’s college drug dealers, the names of the black law clerks turned away and never hired by Ruth Bader Ginsberg, the names of the people Che Guevara executed in cold blood, and Woodrow Wilson’s clan member friends, then I’ll consider teaching kids the names of Washington”s slaves. Until then, this is like the kid from deliverance said, just an attempt to disparage the legacy of our founding fathers by marxists. Funny how obvious it is when you realize that this purported desire to “humanize” history and “tell the untold truths” never covers the leftist icons. Wake up Bitter.
Fla – Name all of the people you named. I am fine with that. Or do you think like Jason that there were only a few people alive during the Revolution and millions of uninteresting footnotes?
Naming Washington’s slaves is not revisionism. The Lost Cause/slavery was not the main cause of the Civil War was revisionism. Jason used to believe slavery was evil until the woke historians agreed with him.
Bitter, I think what Jason wrote is clear for all to read. He’s not racist or a history denier. What he says makes sense. Why does woke history never name the names or introduce uncomfortable truths concerning leftist icons? The answer is obvious and supports what Jason has written. You may not agree but many of us certainly do.
some serious FAFO right here. Bring a gun to interfere with ice agents, fight with them and while they’re attempting to arrest you, whip it out and then get shot. Classic FAFo –
But he is obviously triggered by naming the slaves Washington owned a block from Independence Hall. Not inventing slaves who did not exist. Just because the Left is dishonest in presenting facts does not mean we should be.
unless as I said there was some historical significance to one or more of them like being owned by the First President a block from Independence Hall.”
LOL
Asinine comment. But typical of someone trying to transpose 2026 to 1776.
Washington owned slaves way before he was President and way before Independence Hall was Independence Hall.
So we still argue about the founding fathers and the civil war.
And I am still sick.
I think I will become well again before we stop arguing about the founding fathers and the civil war.
******************
On a more current note, we have the issue of nullification rearing its ugly head again and are not addressing it.
BBIn 1830s, there was a movement in the south of the theory of Nullification, whereby it was posited that the union of states was a contract among the states and when the federal government was doing something opposed by some states, then that started had the right to refuse to recognize that federal law. President Andrew Jackson opposed that theory (strongly supported by his own VP) and in a toast said “Our Union, iot must be preserved.’
The Civil War was in large part over the idea that states had a right to leave the Union and form their own country when those states believed certain federal laws were to their detriment and they disagreed with those laws. South lost. Issue settled. States cannot leave the union. The rest of the country will fight and breath you into submission and you must abide by federal law. The union of states is apparently not like a marriage of states, where when a state wanted a divorce they can be peaceably granted such.
South in the 1950’a/1960s. Had racial segregation in schools and other ways of life. The Constitutional rights of Blacks in the south was being trampled on. Fed govt. steps in send in U.S. troops and enforces integration, etc.
In 1971, Berkeley CA became the first “sanctuary city” for servicemen and draft dodgers who were opposed to the war in Vietnam. Fed. govt did nothing.
Beginning in 1979, Los Angeles CA became the first sanctuary city and passed ordinance directing police to not inquire about immigration status. Fed. govt did nothing.
In 1987m Oregon became the first sanctuary state. 16 other states followed. (17 states total)
“These early policies focused on preventing local law enforcement from acting as immigration agents, protecting undocumented immigrants from deportation, and ensuring access to city services. “
Fed. govt did nothing.
Now we have about 300 cities that are sanctuary cities (along with the 17 states) that order state and city law enforcement or not cooperate with feds regarding deportations of illegals within their jurisdictions.
WHY–after all these DECADES–have we not had some big court case (going all the way to the SCOTUS) that slaps the states down over illegal sanctuary state status over immigration law and asserts the federal supremacy clause where federal laws trumps state law and asserts the FULL authority of the Fed GOVT–as provided in the Constitution of the U.S over ALL LAWS DEALING with IMMIGRATION?
NOW we have all sorts of goofy going on in MN BECAUSE for DECADES the fed govt did NOTHING to slap down this sanctuary state, sanctuary city nonsense.
Sanctuary states is just a way for states to game the system and illegally juice their population numbers (exp. for the 2020 census, but for 2010 and 2000 as well) to get extra representatives in Congress they do not actually deserve.
20 million illegals is a big number when you are a sanctuary state that welcomes enclaves of illegal aliens. But we are now finding out all the social costs associated with creating these enclaves that hurts ALL THE LEGAL residents of those states.
Fla2025: He never had the gun out of the holster. He DID NOT brandish the gun or threaten them. And the gun was removed by an ICE officer prior to the shooting.
I fully believe Harriet Beecher Stowe’s Uncle Tom’s Cabin fictional account of slavery and am sure that prior to the civil war all slaves were lined up every Tuesday and Thursday and beaten to within an inch of their lives. It makes a lot of sense that those who owned the slaves would want to destroy their own property and render them useless for work on the farm or plantation. I also think the slave owners lined up all their horses, mules and oxen and beat them half to death every Wednesday.
I 100% do not think slave owners provided any food, clothing housing, medical care, protection, etc. to any of their slaves. I also 100% do not think any slave owner taught any of their slaves to read and write. and I 100% believe all Black slaves hated their white slaves owners and would slit their throats in a minute if they could.
****************
(No I am not condoning slavery. It was what it was. It was evil. Some slaves were badly mistreated. Some were badly abused. Some slaves who had been trained with special skills (blacksmith, etc) had a remarkable degree of freedom to traveling off the plantation, working off the plantation and make money, and even given full rein of operating ferries owned by the slave owner. Some of my ancestors owned slaves. Most did not. The slaves owned by my ancestors are buried in the little family cemetery on what used to be the family farm not too far from Harpers Ferry, right beside the white folks who owned them.
Just pointing out truth. But some people will NEVER believe the factual truth that there WERE free blacks who were slave owners, some free blacks who were soldiers in confederate units, Black slaves who went to war with their owner/master and some of those actually took up arms and fought against the union army, and many Blacks had great loyalty to their white owners.
One confederate soldier in the town where I later grew up was home on leave. Federal cavalry came into town to find him. His large female slave lifted him up and put him in an upper cabinet in the kitchen to hide him which prevented him from being found and captured.)
One part of my family were slave-owning Baltimore area farmers. Reading through one of the wills where my ancestor is passing on to his sons, daughters and grandkids specific slaves was very disturbing. And when they bequeathed a female slave it was “the slave and her increase.” (all of her descendants)
In the early 1800s, that side of my family married into a Quaker. They no longer had slaves and moved to Indiana. Don’t know what happened to the slaves.
Black slaves who went to war with their owner/master and some of those actually took up arms and fought against the union army, and many Blacks had great loyalty to their white owners.”
You won’t see the woke revisionists that Bitter admires so much mention any of that.
Nobody has addressed the point I raise about sanctuary cities being one more step in the line of historical times when some people believed that states had the right to ignore federal law, and how ALL those attempts were beaten down. Yet NOBODY in several DECADES has made ANY attempt to beat down sanctuary cities and sanctuary states on immigration policy.
WHY NOT?
When an INDIVIDUAL tries to invent their own law and claim to be “sovereign citizens” who do not have to have drivers licenses, etc. they find out the hard way that what they believe is coo-koo and has no legal standing and they pay the price of violating the law.
But if a whole city or state decides to ignore the law and the U.S. Constitution, then we let that slide.
I do not get it.
If it were me, I would take them to court and win. And then I would withhold federal funds from that city or state if they refused to comply with the U.S. constitution and federal law.
Also, does a State or group of states ever have the right to decide to leave the United States and un-join the U.S. Even if 100% of the people in that State all want to leave?
Or is it once a state has joined, they have no right to unjoin?
I think the first such effort by a group of states to leave the union was the New England states.
Will in your lifetime, we have some sort of nationwide vote it the 50 states to determine which states want to continue to stay a part of the U.S. and which states want to go a different direction?
Lost to think about.

Paul concerned about the guy who came at ICE agents with a gun and violently resisted being disarmed before being shot and killed. Sounds to me like he got what he deserved. Why doesn’t the MN AG spend some emotion concerned about the children raped by these monsters ICE is trying to get out of the neighborhood
when people fear and respect the police, then they can do their job without fear. But if police cannot do their job then we have lawless anarchy.
nobody gets hurt when police instructions are followed. But the left wants an impossible scenario where police can be threatened and attacked, and still do their jobs without hurting anybody.

You all still have not commented on whether a state has the right to leave the union.
2021. CNN: Trump and his allies are trying to make Ashli Babbitt into a martyr by using the word murdered. How dangerous is this type of rhetoric for law enforcement?pic.twitter.com/VFFYNK7cLg
The Dems will now have a go fund me campaign, raising tons of money for an activist impeding police, saying he wanted to massacre ICE, and carrying an automatic hand gun. Go figure how crazy the American public has become.
Regarding the issue of naming Washington’s slaves dominating this thread….how about the latest figure coming out from Iran of 36;000 protesters being murdered and still counting!
Everything is relative, and when put into perspective of the problems and injustices going on around the world, the protesters in Minneapolis seem irresponsible and childish.
What’s going on in Minneapolis is a very well organized and deliberate network of activists deployed to interfere with any and all of ICE functions.
“The groups use emojis next to members’ names to denote specific roles. You’ve got mobile patrols driving around searching for federal vehicles. Foot patrols are working the streets. Dispatchers are running constant calls directing people where ICE has been spotted and how best to interfere with their operations. License plate checkers maintain databases of known federal vehicles. Even medics are standing by. They’re running shift changes, clocking in and out, just like any organized operation.”
During the riots, one individual was apprehended for obstructing law enforcement personnel and utilizing caltrops to deflate the tires of law enforcement vehicles. Upon apprehension, the subject was found in possession of a bag containing several similar devices. The subject was arrested.”
To this very day the media still insinuates Trump incited the J6 protest to turn into a riot. They even have left out some of his language of “peaceful” in order to distort any intentions of it being a peaceful protest. So, why is this same media not all over Walz for his brazen display of trying to churn up more angry demonstrations in Minneapolis?
”Gov. Walz is again inflaming the mob,” Turley said of Walz’s press conference. “He is effectively declaring this to be the murder of a citizen who had a permit to carry this weapon. He is saying that the state not the federal government will control the investigation. He does not have that authority.”
The constitutional scholar wasn’t done there.
He said, “The state can clearly have a parallel investigation and the federal government can do a joint investigation. However, he cannot dictate how or who will conduct the investigation.”
That, of course, didn’t stop Walz from pouring gasoline on the fire of an already tense situation.
“With thousands in the streets, Walz just did all that he could to give them license for their rage,” he wrote. “Most of us would never call this a lawful or unlawful shooting based on one videotape.” Turley said Walz’s political grandstanding was “a bit odd when he is actively engaged in his version of Red Queen justice of a ‘sentence first — verdict afterwards.’”
Then he addressed one of the most outrageous claims from Walz during his remarks after the shooting: “Walz just said ‘quit referring to these people as law enforcement.’”
Turley called that “a new low from the governor. These are law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line every day. To say that they are not law enforcement is to further enable the rage.”
So remember when it was ok to shut down accounts for people just questioning Covid policies? That was a free speech issue.
Why don’t they shut down accounts of people actually interfering with legitimate law enforcement activities? Not a free speech issue. Attack ICE with words? Fine. Physically interfere? No.
There are so many good articles today dealing with the upside-down, chaotic times we are living in. This one, from American Thinker, goes into the democrat ploy of projecting onto others what they have been doing for years, with an indignant sanctimoniousness.
”When Democrats commit electoral fraud, they accuse Republicans of trying to steal elections. When leftist revolutionaries burn down cities, ambush and murder law enforcement officers, and demand that state and local governments “defund police,” Democrats accuse grandparents and veterans of being “insurrectionists.” When Bill Clinton gets caught hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein, the Democrat-aligned press accuse Donald Trump of impropriety. When leftist agitators violate federal law by disrupting Christian worship services in Minneapolis, Democrat leader Hakeem Jeffries runs to propaganda network MSNOW to accuse Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents of storming churches.”
Don’t worry Jason. There is no intention, on my part, to upset the Apple cart of our disagreements. It’s only when there is a glowing “outlier” that I reluctantly offer you a 👍
YOU ARE WRONG. HE DID NOT GET WHAT HE DESERVED. He did NOT threaten anyone. He did NOT have a gun out. He was a law abiding gun owner. He did NOT resist or act violently.
YOU ARE WRONG. HE DID NOT GET WHAT HE DESERVED. He did NOT threaten anyone. He did NOT have a gun out. He was a law abiding gun owner. He did NOT resist or act violently.”
Wow. Paul IS a brainwashed moron.
I guess like his stupid church comments, he didn’t watch this video either.
The guy WAS violent, DID threaten officers with a gun, and DID deserve to be shot.
The video is clear he is assaulting law enforcement officers.
Here is the truth:
BORDER PATROL COMMANDER GREG BOVINO: “During this operation, an individual approached U.S Border Patrol agents with a nine millimeter semi-automatic handgun. The agents attempted to disarm the individual, but he violently resisted. Fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, a Border Patrol agent fired defensive shots.” “Medics on the scene immediately delivered medical aid to the subject, but the subject was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect also had two loaded magazines and no accessible ID.” “This looks like a situation where an individual wanted to do maximum damage and massacre law enforcement.”
Did a couple hours of snow blowing. Did my driveway and sidewalk, two neighbors driveways, cleaned out the 4 areas around 4 maii boxes and dod 4 swipes around the whole edge of the cul-de-sac.
I ran out of gas before the snow blower did.
As I was sweeping snow off the snow blower rto put it in the garage, the plastic chute that directs the snow pushed up by the auger broke off. When I warm up I will go see if I can fix it for round two.
We only seem to have about 7 inches of snow here…mostly has turned to sleet now
if you mean a concealed gun by permit, yes, but under certain conditions:
Must have valid I’d/permit on you at all times.
Must tell officer you have a weapon and are permitted to carry it.
Cannot commit misdemeanors or felonies while possessing. In other words, having such permit does not allow you to commit crimes, or give you a “free pass” to do so.
His crimes, included not having I’d, multiple felonies when he made contact with the officers, a felony against the Lasy friend he dragged (I wonder why he wanted her backpack?), obstruction law enforcement
Woke Historians now claim Shakespeare was a black woman.
Bitter to whine why deny History in 3, 2, 1….
Like a zombie that won’t die, the notion that William Shakespeare was a front for someone else has popped up again. A blog on the website of the London School of Economics (no less), claims that old Shakey was a “black woman”, the poet Emilia Bassano (who, in any case, wasn’t black).
Well, you could have fooled me. A grand old institution like the LSE should not be anywhere near this stuff. It is not even a new theory. The essay, by “feminist historian” Irene Coslet, argues it is “critical to reclaim Subaltern identities from history” if we want to build an equal society.
There is just one problem. We know, with certainty, that William Shakespeare wasn’t even slightly a woman, or black. He was a white bloke from Warwickshire, of yeoman stock. You might as well try to argue that the sun was, in fact, cold. Why does this madness continue?”
If this guy did not want to get into an altercation, he could immediately dropped to the ground, hands over his head, and told the ICE agents “I have a weapon”.
My job as Treasury secretary is to investigate that, and I think that, you know, this chaos that’s going on out there, and again, I am sorry that this gentleman is dead, but he did bring a nine-millimeter semi-automatic weapon with two cartridges to what was supposed to be a peaceful protest. I think that there are a lot of paid agitators who are ginning things up, and the governor has not done a good job of tamping this down.
KARL: Yes. I mean, as you know, he was an ICU nurse, worked for the Veterans Administration, and there’s no evidence that he brandished the gun whatsoever. In fact, it appears that —
BESSENT: He brought a gun. (CROSSTALK)
KARL: He’d been disarmed before he was — (CROSSTALK)
BESSENT: He brought a gun. Have you ever gone to a protest, Jonathan?
KARL: I mean, we do have a Second Amendment in this country that —
BESSENT: Jonathan, have you ever gone to a protest?
KARL: I mean —
BESSENT: Have you gone to a protest?
KARL: I mean, I’ve — no, actually, as a reporter covering it.
BESSENT: OK. I’ve been to a protest.
KARL: Yes.
BESSENT: Guess what? I didn’t bring a gun. I brought a billboard.
KARL: OK. Secretary Bessent, thank you for joining us.”
could the other 49 states vote to expell MN from the union?
would it take a simple majority or does it have to be 2/3?
I would be in favor of allowing any American citizens who live in MN to be allowed to move to p e of the other states and still get all constitutional protections.
“minneapolis could be our Fallujah” Far-left extremists linked to Antifa and anarchist and communist extremists are encouraging comrades to go to Minneapolis as “delegates” for an armed uprising against the U.S. government. They’re raising funds for weapons, tactical gear and supplies on
Our government killed a man yesterday. And instead of demanding & opening an investigation into the killing, our government IMMEDIATELY labeled the man a “domestic terrorist.” Immediately.
That’s what fascist regimes do. It should send a chill down the spine of every American
No ID, armed with a semi automatic weapon along with two full magazines, engaging in physical violence with armed officers does not demonstrate peaceful behavior. In comparison, none of the J6 protesters carried any arms, and yet were labeled “insurrectionists” by the media and the left
I am sad that yet another person lost their life in MN.
I am sad that the MN governor and Minneapolis mayor want to have an unconstitutional sanctuary state/city where criminal illegals are protected from being arrested by federal authorities. And put the well being of criminal illegal aliens ahead of their own legal citizenry of their state and city.
I am sad that a large number of people in MN do not understand that the federal government is acting legally in apprehending illegal aliens.
I am sad that a large number of people in MN think they do not have to abide by federal, state and local laws. And that they think it is ok to attack people (not just ICE, but journalists, anyone wearing a a freed jacket, anyone they THINK might be an ICE agents), block roads, damage personal and public property.
I am sad that a large number of people in MN try in all kinds of ways to prevent ICE agents from carrying our their legal and constitutional duties when Trump is president, but did no similar things when Obama was president and deported illegal aliens.
I am sad that the State and local police have been told to not respond to any call to assist ICE when they get attacked.
I am sad when the same people who get so riled up when someone loses their life when they protest against ICE, but those same people took no similar action when some U.S. citizen was murdered, raped, beaten, robbed, etc. by some illegal alien.
I am sad because I know it will only get worse and more people will be injured and killed needlessly.

Today, let’s talk about the NUMBER 3.
3 is:
–usually the number of wishes that a Genie in a bottle grants someone
–In Chinese culture, 3 is considered lucky because the way it is pronounced in Chinese is very similar to “birth” in Chinese
–lighting 3 cigarettes with one match is considered unlucky (idea came about during WW II, it gives a sniper time to see, aim and shoot the person lighting the 3rd cigarette)
–many plays are often 3 act plays
–there are 3 primary colors (red, blue, yellow)
–3 is considered the most powerful number in many cultures (Father, Son, Holy Ghost…)
–3 strikes and you are out in baseball
–but “3rd time is the charm”
–good things happen in threes
–bad things happen in threes
–Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria ships of Columbus first voyage to America
In nursery rhymes and children’s literature we have:
–3 Blind Mice
–Goldilocks and the 3 Bears
–3 Little Pigs
–Three Little Kittens Who Lost their Mittens
–3 men went sailing in a wooden shoe (Wynkin, Blynkin and Nod)
–3 monkeys in “see, hear and speak no evil”
–3 musketeers
–3 Dog Night
–Knock Three Times song
–Three Doors Down (they’re laughing and singing and having a party)
–Three Coins in the Fountain
–We Three Kings of Orient Are
–Jesus rose on the 3rd day after his crucifixion.

The movement to “cancel” or re-evaluate Abraham Lincoln focuses on his perceived failures regarding racial equality and treatment of Native Americans, challenging his legacy as the “Great Emancipator”.

To this very day the media still insinuates Trump incited the J6 protest to turn into a riot. They even have left out some of his language of “peaceful” in order to distort any intentions of it being a peaceful protest. So, why is this same media not all over Walz for his brazen display of trying to churn up more angry demonstrations in Minneapolis?
https://pjmedia.com/matt-margolis/2026/01/25/turley-destroys-walz-and-freys-anti-law-enforcement-tirade-after-shooting-n4948723

Why don’t they shut down accounts of people actually interfering with legitimate law enforcement activities? Not a free speech issue. Attack ICE with words? Fine. Physically interfere? No.

There are so many good articles today dealing with the upside-down, chaotic times we are living in. This one, from American Thinker, goes into the democrat ploy of projecting onto others what they have been doing for years, with an indignant sanctimoniousness.
https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2026/01/democrat_insurrection_arrives_on_schedule.html
