As for Tim Walz, 56% said he did not do enough to prevent fraud, while 34%–loyal Democrats!–said he has done enough. More significantly, by 61% to 39%, suburban voters–in Minnesota as in most states, where elections turn–say Walz hasn’t done enough to prevent fraud.”

  36. Nineveh News:

California Judge Luna See has issued an emergency injunction that will hold all California billionaires under house arrest to prevent them from leaving the Golden State, while court appointed attorneys will be granted temporary control of all billionaire assets to ensure the same assets are subject to the forthcoming one-time 5% wealth tax.

Billionaire Willis Cape confirmed he had planned to leave California. “I would have to take out massive loans to pay the tax, given the assets are tied up in investments, payroll for 5,000 employees, as well as real estate which is not easily or quickly liquidated,” Cape said.

But labor unions see the 5% tax as the rich finally starting to pay their fair share. Union boss Willie Work praised the tax saying, “These billionaires are lying to everyone. They sit on bundles of cash for their chairs, they wallpaper their houses with money, and have so much of it, they can even line their birdcages with tens and twenties. Now the rest of us can start to benefit just a little from all their excess wealth. Hopefully, if we get bolder leadership in our state we can push this 5% to 15% or 20%, and instead of it being a one-time tax, we could make it annual or even semi-annual.”

One California lawmaker, speaking on the condition of anonymity, confirmed that the 5% wealth tax must be passed, and all billionaires must be held accountable to pay it, simply because California has already spent the money they expect to raise by the tax.

A federal judge ruled Monday that the Trump administration can resume sharing location data about undocumented immigrants receiving public health insurance benefits with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, starting next month. U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria’s ruling is a victory for President Donald Trump’s mass-deportation agenda as it allows ICE to use Medicaid data in deportation cases beginning Jan. 6. The agency had been blocked from doing so for months amid a legal challenge from blue states. “The sharing of such information is clearly authorized by law and the agencies have adequately explained their decisions,” Chhabria wrote in a seven-page order. The decision marks a significant setback for California Attorney General Rob Bonta and 21 of his Democratic counterparts, who sued in July to prevent the Trump administration from using Medicaid data obtained from the Department of Health and Human Services to target immigrants. Undocumented immigrants are not eligible to enroll in federal Medicaid programs, but California and other blue states — Illinois, Colorado, New York, Washington, Oregon, Minnesota, as well as Washington, D.C. — allow some people to receive state-funded benefits through their Medicaid implementation programs regardless of immigration status.

  58. So the pollsters who were the best in 2024 have Trump’s approval at:

    +9 (insider advantage)

    +5 (Trafalgar)

    +1 (RMG Research)

    -3 (Big Data)

    -9 (Quantus)

    -10 (Rasmussen)

    -21 (Atlas Intel)

I find these numbers fascinating, given the overall accuracy of these pollsters against all the battleground state polling 14 months ago.

Obviously Trump cannot be both +9 and -21 at the same time. My analysis of the AtlasIntel data leads me to believe that their sample of Republicans is heavily the old Bush/McCain/Romney manifestation of the party. The ones who hate Trump but are not Democrats. AtlasIntel simply didn’t find any MAGA sample at all in their polling. They must be presuming that MAGA is done, and the GOP is back to what it was in 2012.

Obviously, IA and Trafalgar see a completely different electorate. Whether or not MAGA voters ever vote again, this is a job approval poll, and these voters are getting what they voted for, meaning AtlasIntel is simply not working to include these voters in the sampling, meaning they are trying to weigh their poll to be predictive of the outcome of 2026. Trafalgar and IA are reaching these voters, but this may not transfer into them actually showing up and voting without Trump on the ballot.

All of these numbers scream to me of the need for Trump to rally his base for one more election, getting them out in droves so he can continue to deliver in the final two years of his presidency. Trafalgar and IA polling shows that they are out there–they still exist and they approve of what they voted for in 2024. Just get them to the polls and the GOP will hold the house.

But if AtlasIntel has them pegged correctly as no shows, then the job approval that matters is closer to their numbers and the GOP will end up losing house control, probably with fewer than 200 seats. A blowout.

If AOC, Jeffries, Omar, and Newsom isn’t enough to drive MAGA voters out to the polls so these commies can be stopped, then they are beyond hope, and as a result, so is the nation.

Its not that hard. You just schedule a time, drive to a building, walk in, vote straight R down the ballot, and then go home. If MAGA does that, they save the nation. If they don’t, then the whole nation becomes the California fecal matter show.

  90. You have evidence that a portion of the base that elected Trump is not excited to vote in November. What’s your plan to turn that around? I doubt you believe that shaming them into voting will work. So, what’s the plan?”

I say the plan is if they want to stay home and elect Democrats be my guest and GFTs

If they think the Dems will make them more “excited”, they are even stupider than dumb and dumber.

I vote for isolationists and protectionists up and down the ballot not because I am “excited” about them, but because the alternative is to elect Marxists.

The “non-excited Cultists” can make their own decisions on how “excited” they have to be.

    No free lunch.

If they need “shaming” they are really too stupid to begin with.

Maybe with Rs in power the cultists only get 80% of what they want.

With Dems in power they get 0%, and what they already got gets taken away.

If you need to be “shamed” to understand that, you are one dumb m’fer.

You wait in vain to get everything you want. Instead you will get everything you DON’T want including a communist government that will never be repealed.

You are like the guy on the sinking Titanic who sees a chance to get into the final lifeboat, but you look it over and decide the vessel doesn’t quite have all the luxuries you want, so you announce that you don’t want that seat. You will wait for the White Star line to send along a luxury liner with all the amenities you demand. When they send that, you will happily get on board.

  101. I have already outlined my plan for keeping the house in 2026. Trump must nationalize the election, and get out there in EVERY key swing district and hold as many rallies as needed to explain the facts of life to the otherwise dumb and stupid wing of the MAGA voter. I am not saying all MAGA voters are dumb, but the purists who hold out for perfection and the ignorant who think both parties are the same need to be educated about the facts of life. Only Trump can get through to these people.

I like the idea of holding a mid-term party convention. I like the idea of starting the advertising early and run it often. I like the idea of strategically targeting key districts. But most important, Trump must preach about his accomplishments because the media won’t do it. He needs to connect his accomplishments to the party as a whole. That he will sink or swim as the party sinks or swims.

Of course there also has to be continued success. Continue creating the environment that results in dropping gas prices, which will in turn bring down costs of food and other expenses.

Finally, the GOP has to run quality candidates. Candidates who are a good match for the district where they run. No more of this stupidity of running a far-right candidate who might be “pure” but would have no chance in a tightly contested purple swing district.

And I would also point out that the GOP should endeavor to put someone on the ballot in nearly every house race. Not that you fund every race, but at least have someone their given the Dem’s ability to be caught in scandal. Ed Durr ran such a token race years ago in New Jersey, and won. You never know when that sort of thing can happen, but if you have no name on the ballot, you can’t win.

If you are a Dem who hired PPP-D to give you an internal, and they can’t give you a lead, its pretty hopeless.

I would run on contrasting Trump’s agenda vs. the Dems agenda.

I would run on low taxes, energy independence, strong military, immigration, and anti-woke, just to name a few things.

I would encourage the meme that a strong tide lifts all boats whether they are die hard MAGA boats or not.

What I would NOT do is promise a tariff driven trade policy, isolationism from America’s interests abroad, America is an island, or xenophobic/anti-legal immigrant rhetoric because while those ideas might be popular among the Cultists, they are self defeating for the country.
