Nah, while there are instances where hunters just wound animals and they suffer before dying, the vast majority of animals whether shot by guns or arrows die very quickly.
Bears especially, because you really want a clean kill. A wounded deer will run away, no such guarantee with bears.

Because it is fairly warm today and the wife says in the next few weeks it will get cold and she KNOWS how I HATE to deal with all the outside decorations in the cold.
WHICH MEANS…SOMEONE (most probably some 78 year old man you all know) has to take down all the HALLOWEEN outside decorations, including wagon loads of decorative pumpkins, squash, hedge apples, and other things.
AND THEN:
–Go to storage room and find and lug the many, many, many, MANY boxes containing garland, lights, wreaths, etc, etc. up the stairs and to appropriate staging area
–Go to furnace room and find and drag out all the Christmas decorations including two decorated big sleds, a red railroad lantern with bow, Christmas bird houses, various other Christmas-y wrought iron thingies that you have to put in the ground
–Get out 20 the foot extension ladder and the step ladder
–hang 78 feet of roping and lights on deck and deck stairs…
and fluff each of many hundreds of individual artificial pine springs are fluffed out to perfection and use the appropriate amount of wire every 6 feet to make a nice and even sway of the garland
–Attach big assed bows every 6-8 feet on the garland strands
–test the lights and find one strand in the 78 feet of lights not working (naturally-F—ing Chinese)
–discover that the lights on all these garland stands are of a yellowish hue, and find that our new replacement strands are a whitish hue….so have to go to Walmart to find yellowish (Good fricking luck with that) WHAT WILL PROBABLY HAPPEN, is the wife cannot find any with a yellowish hue and will buy a billion strands of whitish hue strands and I will have to take ALL the perfectly good yellow hue strands OFF the 78 feet of garland and reattach the new all whitish hue strands….(I will let you know if this becomes a reality)
–hang 20 feet of roping and lights on patio doors…
and fluff out each of the pine springs to perfection
–hang 14 feet of roping and lights on front door…
and fluff out each pine sprig to perfection [AND JUST LIKE LAST YEAR, discover that I put it up BACKWARDS and the end of the lights you plug into the extension cord are on the side AWAY from the outlet…so I have to reverse the garland and light strands to make it work] [yes, I marked the one end that was supposed to be closest to the outlet but forget to read that.]
–hang 12 feet of lights around two bushes on front porch by front door
–hang 9 feet of new roping around new handrail on front porch…
and fluff out each of the pine sprigs to perfection
–find all the needed 5 extension cords of right color, length and # of plug-ins for lights
–hang six big assed wreaths over windows, garage and chimney using the 230 foot extension ladder fully extended…
and make sure all six of the bows on each wreath is picture-perfect and the two wide tails of the bow are perfectly even with one another and are not bent or twisted in any way
–Hang the two other artificial pine thingies with matching red bows on the two lamps attached to each side of the double wide garage door area
–Hang eleventy million strands of lights around the 6 bushes in front of the house
–Find the two floodlights [odds are great that one bulb will no longer work] and run extension cords 30 feet away from front of house and stake the two floodlights into ground after you perfectly position them.
–go take down all the INSIDE Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations adorning every flat surface imaginable in numerous rooms and box and cart them to the storage room
–Bring up 19 boxes (I am NOT exaggerating) of Christmas tree decorations and other decorations to be placed on every flat surface in every room of the house.
–Drag out the big assed box holding the Christmas tree, manhandle it awkwardly to get it up the stairs to the living room and put it together and wrap it with eleventy million light strands to replace the ones that came with the tree but stopped working some years ago and you had to cut all the wires to remove those defunct bulbs from the tree] (fricking Chinese) [And stand there and say nothing when the wife moves half of the tree decorations from the branch you put it on to another branch somewhere else]
AND I HAVE NOT HAD TIME TO SIMPLY ENJOY THANKSGIVING YET…

The wife DOES do a lot to help. But her primary duty is un-decorating and re-decorating stuff INSIDE stuff. And making and ironing the 3 inch wide ribbons and making the bows with 6 loops, etc.
And she helps decorate the tree after I get it all put together and get the lights on.
We made a big dent today. DESPITE having a brief rain, then wind (or course) and now getting colder. Younger son helped a lot.

The law enforcement is being too measured and soft in their response, IMO by just shoving he same useful idiots repeatedly out of the roadway, for 12 consecutive times, using pepper spray, etc.
Bring in the dogs and water canons. Start using rubber bullets, drop crap on the hordes of protests illegally gathered on the street and beating on law enforcement vehicles. Drop yellow colored dye on the idiots by helicopter and then arrest everyone who has yellow dye on them and were still in the street after being told to get on the sidewalk. Drop large and heavy nets on the hordes, and then swoop in and arrest them all for being a part of a public disturbance, violating noise ordinances, using inciteful language, public swearing, impeding law officers, refusing lawful orders, etc. And get the damn judge to deny quick bail and require them to all be in custody for 48 hours each.
