I know everyone here in addition to me are interested in the Chile election results so I will repost.

Chile election results.
Kast, Kaiser, Parisi and Mathei are conservatives. Jara is a communist..
More importantly, Chile elected a “constitutional congress” to rewrite the constitution, and the conservatives have a clear majority among the 50 members.
Previously, a bunch of left wingers wrote the “most progressive constitution in the world” but the referendum to approve it lost 62-38.

At least it is not raining…because rainy days and Mondays always get me down.
BUT…I would gladly take RAIN over this FRICKING STRONG, INCESSANT WIND. My fricking fence is leaning some again in the most head on wind area. My wind speed device says strongest gusts are 23 mph, but I think that must be the maximum that it can record. Local weather reports say gusts of 45-50 mph.
I am too old to have to deal with this sh!t.
Plus the to do list today…
One fix is about 4′ long, thick metal straps that can be attached to each fence post and sledgehammered into the concrete like ground. $35 each..I need about 7 or 8.
The other fix is the fence sections down, dig out posts, replace posts (at some exorbitant cost of money, labor, blood, sweat and tears set new posts in concrete, and reattach fence sections.

Agreed jason. Looking back at my life I can think of four instances where I briefly met an individual who later on ended up doing significant time in prison for serious felonies. All four of these people were in white collar professions, medicine, accounting, higher education, etc. Someone could have easily snapped a photo of me standing there talking to any of these four, and then all these years later they could post the picture online and raise suspicions around what I knew and when I knew it, and what was I hiding. Its absurd.

what is interesting about current polling is the fact that while there is a HUGE disparity in Trump’s job approval, between pollsters who got 2024 right versus those who got 2024 wrong, these two groups of pollsters are nearly identical, on average, around the generic congressional ballot. Dems +3.76
