There are about 320k federal workers who live in VA, but they don’t all vote and they are not all Dems.
Say you double that with family members, the pool is 640k votes. Say 75% are Democrats and of those 75% will vote.
That is about 360k votes.
A sizeable chunk of votes. But its only about 10% of the total expected vote.

Bitter, you sometimes ask about the importance of archeology news stories that involve the Bible. Often these headlines are worthless, old news, or misleading. Here is one that is significant.
The Book of Daniel is hotly debated because it claims to have been written in the 6th century BC, and yet it provides VERY specific prophetic details about Alexander the Great (4th century BC), the conquests done by Greece, as well as the early death of Alexander the Great and the breakup of his kingdom into four parts, and then how out of one of those parts came a Seleucid ruler named Antiochus IV Epiphanes.
Skepics, critics, and Bible believers all agree that what was written clearly refers to Greece and the actions of Anciochus Epiphanes, who died in 164 BC.
But skeptics and critics deny the possibility of supernatural predictive prophecy and claim Daniel was written AFTER 164 BC, written as history but disguised as prophecy written earlier in the 6th century BC.
When the Dead Sea scrolls were found, it was determined they had belonged to a group called the Qumran community, a sect that broke away from Judaism in the 2nd century BC. None of the critics expected copies of Daniel would be found among the scrolls because the Qumran community broke away in the same century they claim Daniel was written.
However, there was not just one, two, or three found, there were EIGHT distinct copies of Daniel found among the Dead Sea Scrolls including one, based on handwriting, that scholars dated to around 125 BC. Just four decades after the death of Antiochus Epiphanes.
But rather than accepting the supernatural, the skeptics of Daniel just marveled that a copy was found dated so close to the original–especially one found among the documents of a breakaway cult group.
But now that copy previously dated to 125 BC has been newly analyzed by radio-carbon dating, and has been assigned a range of 230-160 BC. This copy clearly had the normal features of scribal errors indicating it was NOT the original copy of Daniel.
This means that for the first time, we have a manuscript artifact, with predictive prophecy that was NOT YET FULFILLED at the time the copy was made, but was fulfilled some years later than the copy.
This is kind of a big deal. The skeptics cannot force Antiochus to die earlier, so not sure what they are going to say. Maybe they will resort to a theory where the parchment was made in 200 BC, and then saved for 75 years before the copy was made, just to fool modern scientists who use carbon dating.

BS jason, there is NO party registration here. When you show up on a primary day where both parties have a primary, the first thing they ask you is if you want the GOP or DEM ballot, not that this means you are one of the two, but that you can participate in one of the two. I recall once asking for the DEM ballot because I wanted to influence their side while the GOP side was not really contested.
So any numbers shown can only be the result of either polling data, or just guesses.

I actually found it to be most interesting and intriguing.
Things I did not know about.
To me, it seems the more they study the Bible and discover archaeological evidence the the more it proves the Bible to be right.
Sorta like a of scientists. They can explain a lot of things scientifically as to how everything was created. But the majority of scientists are also religious people who believe in a God/Supreme Being. The more they study the more they realize there is a creator.

Bloomberg went all in for Cuomo, I just don’t think it will be enough since a ton of Sliwa voters will not rank him to push over Mamdani’s rabid base. And Mamdani cleverly advised his voters to rank Sliwa second to reduce the chance of Cuomo doing so.

“Federal prosecutors revealed Monday they have unearthed a trove of personal emails showing then-FBI Director James Comey openly talked in the days before the 2016 election that he expected to be working soon for President-elect Hillary Clinton and was being kept apprised by a top FBI aide on efforts to anonymously provide information to the news media.

E [sic] so uh fun,” Comey wrote in an early November 2016 email after then-FBI special government employee Dan Richman briefed the FBI director on Richman’s efforts to provide information and guidance to The New York Times on an article involving Clinton’s email scandal.
The emails were referenced in a bombshell court filing by acting U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan and her deputy, Tyler Lemmons in which the government rejected Comey’s argument that he was being maliciously prosecuted for misleading Congress about actions he took as FBI director.
Halligan cited and attached to the filing numerous emails in which Comey was clearly aware that Richman was working to provide information anonymously to news outlets about the Clinton email case and that he expected those outreach efforts would end with Clinton defeating Donald Trump in the November 2016 election.
“Some day they will figure it out. And as [Individual 1 and Individual 2] point out, my decision will be one a president-elect Clinton will be very grateful for (although that wasn’t why I did it),” Comey wrote Richman in one such email in late October 2016.
Halligan’s filing said the emails showed Comey was aware of and encouraging Richman’s contacts with the media, contrary to his claims to Congress.
“Consistent with the above-described correspondence, Richman corresponded extensively with members of the media regarding or on behalf of the defendant, including in an anonymous capacity,” the DOJ court filing argued.”

Clearly our country is on the verge of disaster. Rush Limbaugh made the salient point years ago that the USA could survive Obama, but he wasn’t sure it could survive the people who voted him into power.
That problem has not gone away. In fact, the far left has already taken over the former Democratic party. Look at today, we are rooting for a Cuomo to win the NYC Mayor race. That’s how bad this has gotten. The “Centrist Democrat” if there ever was such a species is now long extinct. Everyone knows that if the Kentucky Governor ran for president, he would get no delegates and 1% of the popular vote in the primary.
We have to save our country. Two dates loom large. November 2028 and the 2030 census. The answer to both of these is the same. We have no choice left but mass migration. Republicans could give the party leaders and conservative PACs billions of dollars to try to educate the left to gain in our numbers, but that is not the most effective path, certainly not for the cost. Instead, if the Republican Party would start a fund to provide moving cost assistance to Republicans who wish to help save America, this would cost a fraction of other plans, and it would yield the best results against 2028 and 2030.
For the 2028 election, we see the same 7 critical states, all won by Trump a year ago. WI, MI, PA, GA, NC, AZ, and NV. Trump had 312 Electoral Votes, so not all of these states are needed, but all must be pursued to avert disaster in 2028. Here is the plan:
Wisconsin: Republicans and conservatives in Illinois must move north to Wisconsin. Democrats only grant the GOP three house seats in Illinois anyway. Trump got 2.4 million votes in Illinois, so even if only 400,000 to 500,000 moved to Wisconsin, it would be enough to move the state safely into the Republican column. The migrations north should focus on WI-01 and WI-03 to sure up these house seats. Minnesota should not participate in this migration simply because we have four of the eight house seats there, and the state has been very slowly moving in our direction. Once the OWLs (old white liberals) die off, we will have a good shot at Minnesota.
Michigan: This is the toughest state to sure up. But if another couple hundred thousand Republicans could flee Illinois for Michigan, this would certainly help. They would need to land in MI-07, MI-08 and MI-10 to ensure these house seats go red.
Pennsylvania: This one is easy. The few conservatives and Republicans left in Maryland, move north to PA. We are only allowed one congressional seat in Maryland anyway, so get out of there and move north. Trump got a million votes in Maryland, so if half of that, 500,000 would find their way into PA, then the state is solidified. Another option for Pennsylvania is migrations from New York and New Jersey, but this could be counterproductive given we do hold a few house seats in each of those states. A better target would be Virginia. This state is quickly going down the toilet and within 10 years will be the California of the east coast. Republicans in the northern part of the state should move to PA.
North Carolina: Republicans in Virginia who did not move north to PA should move south into North Carolina or Georgia. Numerous NC house seats could be bolstered by the influx of Republicans. We might cringe at the loss of house seats in Virginia, but these are likely to be lost going forward anyway.
Georgia: This one is also easy. Just a small migration from Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, and now Florida has enough to spare, and Georgia is off the table for Dems.
Arizona: This one is different from all the rest because the migration of conservative retirees happens every year. But the surest way to fix this for good is mass migration from California, particularly given the fact that we will have few house seats left after the forthcoming redistricting. Trump got 6 million votes in California, and even if a third of that total could spread out over Nevada and Arizona, those states would be out of play for the left.
Nevada: See above under Arizona. But Utah could also perhaps spare a few thousand moving across the border to Nevada. The influx into Nevada would also help the GOP capture the four house seats there to compensate for the loss of seats in Virginia.
Then once the 2030 census locks in these changes, the GOP would have a lockbox on the electoral college and the US House for 10 years. Virginia would drop from 13 EVs to 10, NC jump from 16 to 18. PA jumps from 19 to 21. NV from 6 to 8, AZ from 11 to 13. WI from 10 to 12. GA from 16 to 17. IL drops from 19 to 14, MD drops from 10 to 7.
This plan would give the GOP the most bang for the buck. I know it will never happen, and people hate moving because of the turmoil, job changes, etc., but many people work remotely now or work service jobs that are easily found in other states. But we must save our country from the far left, those who eager to take away your freedoms and put out the lights of the shining city on the hill.

Those changes are longer term and usually gradual. 2028 is THREE years away. The likelihood is very strong that the same states will be the battlegrounds in three years: WI, MI, PA, NC, GA, AZ, and NV.

“I think there are states that could join this group. If Rs win in NJ tonight, combined with Trump’s 46% there, it could be a sign. Also Maine if there is a backlash to the crazies there. Maybe MN for the same reason. New Mexico.”
New Hampshire could also join the group, depending on the GOP candidate for POTUS. But of course if in 2028 the Republican flips any of these states, it likely means WI, MI, PA, NC, GA, AZ, and NV were already in the victory math.
