Who was Pol Pot?

Wikipedia begins by calling him a “politician.” But he was a Cambodian mad-man who ruled Cambodia with an iron fist from 1975 to 1979. He brutally tortured and murdered 25% of his nation’s population (up to 2 million people). Most of these were ethnic groups living within his borders, but anyone could be arrested and killed. And he didn’t just kill off the elderly. Many of his victims were young adults and children cut down in their prime of life.

The torture he inflicted on his victims was so severe the guards had to tied the hands of the victims to keep them from killing themselves with their own hands so as to end the excruciating torment. When they finally were done with the torture, the victims who survived it were taken out to the killing fields where the young children and babies had their heads bashed open against a tree, and the adults were typically killed with hammers or pick-axes to save money on bullets. Over 23,000 mass graves have since been discovered.

THIS is the man, Pol Pot, this brutal monster, who Jay Jones says is not as bad as the GOP house leader in Virginia. This Jay Jones is the one who Spanberger refuses to drop from her endorsements, and she hopes Jones will be the next Virginia Attorney General. Democrats have a violence problem. Pray to God that Virginians don’t vote for this madness.

Nobel committee snubs Trump on the Peace Prize, using the flimsy committee that nominations clsoed back in January, even though Trump was in office by Jan. 20th, and forgetting that Obama was nominated and won despite actually having accomplished nothing merely on the “hope” that eh brought and what he could potentially accomplish.

Assuming one accept their scheduling technicality, they have one chance to redeem themselves next year. I don’t expect them to take it. This Times of India, which brings in the Obama angle, perfectly encapsulates the mentality of these people i.e. “ballots over bullets” peacemaking instead of firm pressure applied to all stakeholders to coerce them into action. The irony being that they give the prize to someone who, admittedly, risked a lot to stand up to Maduro, but who has also accomplished preciously little in moving the ball towards toppling the dictator, while Trump has successfully brought together disparate actors to end fighting in a number of hot spots.

I don’t think its the numbers.

I think its the fact the Dems are afraid of the precedent, that if you engage in completely unacceptable rhetoric there is a price to pay.

    Can’t have that.

  7. DW,

I saw LONG clip of that VA gov. debate.

    Do not like Spanberger.

VA will be better off if Sears wins.

Spanberger’s answers were one continual dodge and completely unacceptable to me.

BUT…the whole time Spanberger was speaking, Sears CONTINUALLY and in a whine-y tone talked OVER Spanberger. THAT came across as very rude. NOT the best image to portray.

Just be quiet and let Spanberger blather and dig her own D hole deeper.

Sadly reminded me of the MANY Facebook videos of Black women who get pulled over for traffic violation who CONTINUALLY talk over the police officer and be rude.

IMO, Sears was not the best R candidate they could have run for governor this year.

  10. Walt, maybe the Sears strategy was to appeal to black women who can identify with her tone? I did hear the same about Sears and her interrupting. Not sure debates matter much anyway. The point of debates now is to grab more sound bites to use in the TV ads…something people might actually watch.

The answer: The estimated number of cameras used by China to spy on their people.

This sort of spying was the dream of Obama, and every far left Democrat since. They want to control the lives of everyone. They have already shown their willingness to use communist style lawfare to oppress and persecute political opponents.

Jay Jones has summed up his hatred for political opponents who resist their goals. Spanberger, Kaine, Warner, Pelosi and others want that power so badly that they cannot withdraw their endorsements of Jones. They want him to win. Why? Their hatred for YOU is stronger than maintaining their pretense of civility and fair play.

“F*** off Geary. I will shoot u @ yer next public rally. Then send you memes with the photos. I know where your f***in kids are too.”

“Abigail Spanberger is telling her supporters to ‘let their rage fuel them,’ and my opponent is up on TV right now calling me a crook and a treasonist, and blatantly lying about my record,” Higgins said, referring to the Democratic gubernatorial candidate.

He also noted the dangers of dehumanizing rhetoric. “The last two sessions in Richmond we’ve been called every name under the sun,” he added. “It should be shocking to no one that continuing to call your political opponents names like ‘Nazis’ will ultimately lead to violence.”

The story said, “For the people of Eirenopolis, these loaves were not mere food, but were sacred objects, ritually treated as representations of Christ himself.” But that analysis smacks of speculation as to what they thought of these loaves of bread.
