It’s a fun morning watching all these democrats twist themselves into pretzels trying to defend the lawbreaking judge. Quite amusing.
In fairness, she’s right that something here “is not normal.” Democrat judges who facilitate a defendant’s escape is like Democrat prosecutors who won’t prosecute criminals. Key pillars of the legal system are being destroyed. This is not normal. https://t.co/scT781caT2
Here is some news that Bitter & Jason would praise Trump for…while it also might supply a reason Russia didn’t abide by the cease fire.
”It is alarming how President Trump is calling for ceasefire talks while the U.S. government is simultaneously providing Ukraine with either fighter jets or M9 Reaper Drones to fly against Russia.”
That’s a safe bet, Jan. Look how the times buried the most important revelation in the last paragraph of the article. In other news. Somewhat fitting that an illegal alien was involved in the theft of Noem’s purse. –
Trump wore a “blue” suit to the Pope’s funeral is making viral waves on the media, rather than a traditional black one.
Chuck Schumer can’t wait for midterms, and is already signaling a Trump impeachment is on the horizon should the Dems win. Of course the predicate for such a prosecution will be made up on the fly.
It looks like Susan Collins will have a tough time getting re-elected should she chose to run again for the senate in 2026.
”Mainers are divided in their assessment of Governor Janet Mills. A majority of Mainers approve of Mills’ performance as governor, but the partisan gap is wide: nearly all Democrats approve of her while almost all Republicans disapprove. More than two-thirds of Mainers believe incumbent Senator Susan Collins does not deserve to be re-elected in 2026, including a majority of Republicans. Mainers generally oppose state prison policy concerning transgender inmates and oppose two bills being considered by the legislature to loosen vaccines requirements in Maine schools.”
Bitter, scroll back up to Fla’s DC Draino’s clipping explaining the helicopter and jet colliding with each other. Apparently, the female helicopters pilot did not follow directions from either her instructor co pilot or the traffic control towers, which led to the collision.
“Although officials did not specify the name of the suspect, the Metropolitan Police Department said in a news release that Mario Bustamante Leiva, 49, has been charged with two counts of robbery and is facing additional charges for an incident being investigated by the United States Secret Service.”
No. I don’t think she was incompetent just because she was a woman. Do you think she was incompetent because she was a woman? Can women be pilots in your opinion.
Bitter, the helicopter pilot messed up. The pilot was a woman. Her name was withheld for days because people were protecting her screw up because she was a woman. If the pilot was a man it would have been released with the occupants of the helicopter who were both men.
”It is alarming how President Trump is calling for ceasefire talks while the U.S. government is simultaneously providing Ukraine with either fighter jets or M9 Reaper Drones to fly against Russia.”
What is “alarming” about that?
The US should support Ukraine until the Russians come to an agreement or pull out.
Nothing “alarming” about that unless you are a Putinista.
Typical cheap lawyer move- argue a different argument when you have the losing hand. Who said this was about woman in general or that she was incompetent “just because she was a woman “ ? It’s about an incompetent pilot who was a woman that was alleged to be a DEI hire. But you keep listening to that track In your head bitter and ignore what everyone posted.
Or the family did not want people to know the name of her daughter who died and was responsible for 66 other deaths. Do you feel better it was a woman?
The very first day after the accident I attacked the notion that that the family had some legitimate “right to privacy” to withhold the name of this soldier.
They didn’t.
The fact the identity of the two men was released but not of the woman is absolute proof her name was withheld for political reasons.
An incompetent DEI hire who happened to be a woman killed 70 people.
Her name was withheld BECAUSE SHE WAS A WOMAN, i.e. for political reasons.
As far as her “file”, yes, there are reasons to believe she was incompetent even before this incident.
“Captain Lobach’s emotional state at the time remains a critical question. Reports on her background reveal a history of disciplinary issues, including a prior incident where she was reprimanded for failing to follow protocol during a training exercise, leading to a near-miss. Colleagues described her as “overconfident” and occasionally dismissive of authority, traits that could suggest a deeper psychological issue, perhaps even a reckless disregard for safety.”
The accident had nothing to do with the pilot being a woman. People who don’t want women being pilots are gleeful.”
BS. Very few people “don’t want women to be pilots” that is a silly argument.
Her family’s request to withhold her name and DOD response and subsequent attempt to cover up her incompetence HAVE EVERYTHING TO DO WITH THE FACT SHE IS A WOMAN.
Bitter wrote – Fla – You and Jan made the fact that the pilot was a woman and therefore likely a DEI hire. Your argument, not mine.
——-
Bitter, a lack of reading comprehension is not a good trait for a lawyer, even a local state practitioner from Philly. You have misread what I wrote. Please reprint a comment where “I made the fact that the pilot was a woman and likely a DEI hire”. She was an incompetent pilot, a woman who was alleged to be a DEI hire (from the Twitter link I posted), that was treated differently from the men, as evidenced by the fact that they withheld her name. I never said she was a woman and therefore she shouldn’t be a pilot or any words to that effect.
Bitter, I don’t know if it’s the lack of reading comprehensive, like Fla said, or if you deliberately like to provoke by twisting words of others around. Pilots, whether they are men or women, are accountable for their capability to take directives and safely fly a plane or helicopter. Why the pilot headed right into another plane, when she was informed she was not at the right altitude, and did not turn left when directed to do so, cost 70 people their lives. The reasons for this massive error should be looked into, especially the level of training this pilot had. That’s the bottom line to this discussion……
Too bad you are a coward and won’t state what you do for a living

I’ll tell you what I’m not, and that’s a local practitioner who lacks basic reading comprehension like you, LOl! Keep listening g to that record spinning in your head, counselor.
And of course, the reason there are fewer accidents with female pilots is that there are fewer female pilots.
There have been plenty of commercial aviation accidents with female pilots. In fact, accident rates for female pilots on major airlines are higher than males.
The explanation is that female pilots are generally younger and less experienced, not that they are “worse” pilots.. When you compare them to males with the same age and experience, there is not much difference.
GFY and stop changing handles, AS/Jason. I have been here 21 years and can read how people try to hide what they are really saying. Jan and Fla suck at it.
The NYTs would not have pushed the preferred narrative if the pilot’s gender was male. Competence should not be feathered in when it’s a woman who is the pilot.
”An honest headline would have read, “Helicopter Pilot Ignored Multiple Safety Warnings Before Fatal Crash.”
The liberal paper of record spent roughly a thousand words dancing around the obvious truth: a helicopter pilot directly caused this tragedy by ignoring multiple explicit warnings.
But that wouldn’t fit their preferred story about “systemic failures,” would it?
Let me spell out what the Times buried deep in their article: The Black Hawk pilot received clear, explicit warnings about altitude from their co-pilot.
The co-pilot explicitly instructed them to turn away from the passenger jet. And what did they do? They ignored those warnings and flew straight into the path of an American Airlines flight carrying 64 innocent people.”
Yep, janzam aka “Putin’s nurse” is a “nurse” who shills for Putin’s war crimes in Ukraine, including torture and rape.
Her lack of any empathy for the hundreds of thousands on innocent Ukrainians slaughtered as she cheers on the Russian invaders shows that as a nurse she is even more of a despicable excuse for a human being.

I was very skeptical from the start about the decision to withhold this pilot’s name.
It is highly unusual for the family of military servicemen to request that and even more unusual that the DOD would agree.
Seems obvious to me the family/DOD knew right away she f–ked up and were trying to withhold her name for political reasons.
It is extremely rare, but janzam is right about this. Her name was withheld because she was a woman.
