  22. Trump was never personally prolife, if prolife is defined by how a committed prolifer thinks (I am such a person). However, when he was president, he was the most prolife president this country EVER had.

However, his stand opposing federal legislation permitting or outlawing abortion is 100% a prolife position. In fact, for anyone who has any experience in prolife political activism, that WAS the universal prolife position until the overturn of Roe, except for a few politically ignorant prolife activists who used their seemingly pure POV to condemn both proaborts and prolifers. All they did was stymie prolife progress for decades.

Reagan, Jesse Helms, etc. all held the same position that Trump has about federal laws, although they may would have supported even stronger federal legislation. But they wouldnt have condemned Trump as having abandoned prolife principles from a federal legislative perspective.

  23. Glad to share…Well one benefit of it being just the wife and I…we have more money to eat healthier :). I did the Carnivore diet the first three months. Bacon with very low sugar, pastured raised eggs, grass fed butter & beef, coffee. That was it. Eating only twice a day. Since that I added wild caught shrimp and salmon, organic fruits of various kinds, whole grain organic bread, raw honey, raw or grass fed cheese, grass fed or raw whole milk, clean pork & chicken occasionally. I don’t eat large amounts of food so it really isn’t that expensive. Easy lifestyle change because I love eating this way.

My wife has healed from rheumatoid arthritis as well…her diet is different in that it includes wild caught fish everyday and she needs a lot more carbs than me.

I have been on a bacon diet for years myself. My only allowance to the health terrorists is that I use uncured bacon now, no nitrites. Same with sausage, minimally processed and no preservatives. If I have to have bread, then sourdough. Very little pasta or rice.

JeffP you should add wild game meat to your diet. It is usually “grass fed” and “natural”. I am a big fan of venison, wild boar, and bison meat. Venison does have a different taste but bison and wild boar are difficult to differentiate from regular beef and pork.

Anyone surprised Trump is not a social conservative (or any other kind of conservative, actually) is a moron.

When it didn’t matter politically, you can see Trump on camera saying he is “very pro-choice” and if fact ok with late term abortions. The odds of him changing his views on abortion in his old age are about zero.

He is doing what he can to thread the needle on the issue, no one should blame him.

TDS morons like JeffP that want him to be an abortion deadender might just as well say “I want him to lose’, be honest.

Trump publicly stated in 2011 that he was pro life, and has not deviated from that position since then. He has many times condemned late term abortions as well, bringing up the example of an earlier VA governor who was ok with it. However, he has also admitted abortion is a very controversial issue, something dividing people, especially during elections. This is why he felt extremely brief time slots to access an abortion – like 6 weeks – would trigger a back lash of support for on-demand abortion. Consequently he commented (“meddled”) about not supporting DeSantis’s 6-week legislation, which then directly led to the counter Amendment 4 ballot proposal.

A good recommendation, though, was published by a Federalist writer that could actually weave DJT’s “meddling” into a good end result:

By passing laws that are way too restrictive on abortion, the states are subjecting themselves to referendums that actually are cementing abortion rights including late term abortions.

We saw this in KS and OH. It will happen in other states.

In the end, the abortion deadenders will end up with nothing.

However, nothing changed with VBM since 2020, so there will be again millions of ballots without chain of custody and minimal signature verification. Rs poll watchers will be excluded from the count in Philadelphia and Allegheny counties.

Trump will have a big lead on election night and the Dems will know exactly how many votes they need to make up the deficit.

So I am thinking Trump needs to win by at least 2 points to overcome the MOF. He will lose any election that is as close as 2016 and 2020.

    Devastating in MI if true.

“New polling makes it clear that adherents to the Islamic faith aren’t rushing to support Kamala Harris this November.

To the contrary, she’s fighting Green Party candidate Jill Stein for the lead.

She may have the current president to blame for that, but Muslim voters are nevertheless poised to exact revenge on the VP at the ballot box.

A poll of 1,159 Muslims released Thursday by the Council on American-Islamic Relations shows Harris and Stein tied at 29%, with 11% of the cohort’s support going to Donald Trump, 4% to Cornel West, and 1% to Libertarian Chase Oliver. A significant 9% say they aren’t voting.

To put that number in perspective, even a majority of Democrats, who make up 70% of the sample, aren’t backing the party’s nominee. “
