I have also added a link to the main page called Comment threads. The user who goes only to https://hhrphoenix.com/ sees just the main page ending with the senate battlegrounds grid, and does not see the comments. So the new link above takes the user to https://hhrphoenix.com/author/bitterlaw/
Hopefully this will help. I am still trying to figure out how all comments by any author appears directly on hhrphoenix.com

So, the only states to see any Blue shift are already reliably Red.

Walt, the red or blue bar on each state shows how much that state has shifted in polling compared to the 2020 results. As I noted above, at least in the polling, the only states to shift Blue are already reliably Red, so all the important movement to the right has been in Blue and swing states.

And many states have almost no polling. No idea if Connecticut is really hold fast for Biden, or if we had a couple of polls it would look more like Washington on the chart.

Jan – So it’s Ukraine’s fault for causing the invasion? If only it had given up a little territory? BS. Appeasement doesn’t work. Putin already had Crimea. It wasn’t enough. A little more territory would not have been enough. Putin has said all of Ukraine is part of Greater Russia. He was not going to stop at a “little.”
I know history is not a strong subject for you but google Hitler’s ambitions. First, he only wanted part of Czechoslovakia. Then, all of it. Then he only wanted Danzig. Then he invaded Poland. Then Russia. Did you grow up in France? That might explain your lack of knowledge of WW2. They probably don’t teach about the period between the Treaty of Versailles and DeGaule marching into Paris in 1944.

Case against Alec Baldwin dismissed with prejudice. I can’t stand his politics but I thought it was a difficult case. Was he a moron? Absolutely. A crime? Not sure. I do hope he never has a day where he is not haunted by the torment of having killed that woman.

There is no evidence of that, and no threats from Putin to do so. That’s hyperbolic hysteria mainly propagated by military industrial complex types. Common knowledge and most military analysts say Putin’s initial goal was to block Ukraine from joining NATO and retake territory on Russia’s border as a buffer zone, which was already occupied primarily by Russians – much like the ethnicity make-up of Crimea. Blowing up the war, though, in the way the US has done by becoming a proxy providing endless lethal armaments has created all kinds of negative extenuating circumstances- pushing Russia into alliances with enemy countries like China, Iran, N Korea; incentivizing countries to trade in currencies other than the dollar; empowering the Russian military by creating a more experienced foe, one who is able to manufacture replacement weapons rapidly, while we disburse ours to Ukraine.
I know, however, for someone stuck on war and winning, such logic and reason is just too much to process, defaulting instead to platitudes about helping the Ukrainian people while promoting the ruthless route only resulting in more death and destruction for them. That’s heartless…..

You honestly believe that Putin is somehow the victim here. You honestly believe that he amassed a giant invading army to seize a small amount of territory. Putin declared all of Ukraine was part of Russia before and after the invasion.
NATO was never going to invade Russia. There was no need for a buffer zone. You are a stunning mix of ignorance and heartlessness.

I may have missed it in the long, repetitive posts on Ukraine, but did anyone condemn Biden for slowly dishing out the US weapons and for the bizarre restrictions on the use of these weapons. His actions have certainly resulted in the death of many Ukrainians.
No free passes and no free lunch.

How many people do you want to die before you’re willing to seek alternative solutions to ending this war?
Finally, are you going to support our people going over to Ukraine to fight their war, as they’ve run out of troops and are using brutal mercenaries to fill in. Logistics says hundreds of thousands more people are needed to subdue Russia – of course then we get into the possibility of a nuclear confrontation. How far do you want to go, Bitter? Or, is it an all or nothing game to you?

They say they are targeting R State legislators in KY, ID and WV in primaries who voted to expand health care coverage for illegal aliens.
My research shows they spent the following totals in those states:
KY – ZERO dollars
ID – ZERO dollars
WV -$356,000 against the R Senate President who got defeated
WV – ZERO dollars against the other R senators in their primaries.
I have no idea why their press release says they spent over $400,000 to defeat the R Senate President when their required campaign finance reports filed with the WV SOS says they spent $356,000.

Also, that project 2025 you call “radical” is a consortium of conservative groups that have banded together, writing an almost 900 page thesis (via the Heritage Foundation), countering much of the far left, Marxist driven policies being imposed on us today, and substituting in the originalist version taken from the Constitution. Even though the thesis has been around for a while the dems are now exploiting it as “radical,” something Trump will implement (even though he has come out and said some policies he likes and others he does not) because the left has nothing to run on except to downgrade their opponents.

There have been multiple assassination attempts on Zelenskyy’s life by people in the military. As you already know he demotes or gets rid of people objecting to how he is running the war. Even his current general, fondly called the “butcher” by his men, is becoming out of favor with the president because he isn’t butchering enough people. Furthermore, the NYTs ran an article recently, featuring a medic assigned to a mercenary Ukrainian division, who became a whistleblower in reporting how Russian soldiers who either were wounded or were giving themselves up were shot in the head. War crimes?

Zelenskyy, though, has been called “Churchillian” and heroic by you and JSU. Interviews, reports etc. how he has banned newspapers, some churches, imprisoned dissidents, practiced conscription by kidnapping people is more tyrannical than “Churchillian.” IOW, Zelenskyy may have started his presidency fairly, as a “good guy,” but he has evolved into a more ruthless, “messianic” (description used in an earlier article by the NYT) leader.
