According to a new poll by SoCal Research. They did not ask about Kennedy or other candidates, and they didn’t bother to ask about the senate race:

Did you know that demented is more fit than George Clooney?

Clooney is a good actor. I don’t like his political views. Both can be true.

And take a look at Pew’s findings for Biden Job Approval:
Approve: 32%
Disapprove: 66%
Net: -34% (new low)
That is nearly Jimmy Carter DOUBLED!

There is the old adage that if you set out to kill the king, be sure you succeed. What happens in this Dem Civil war if the forces trying to overthrow Biden fail? How do they walk it back, and say, “Well, I know that I said he should leave because he’s not mentally fit for office, but now I am saying he’s great…vote for him.” Or, “This is a first in all human history where dementia has been reversed!”

Biden underwater in job approval, now even in VERMONT:

Delaware -21
Minnesota and Colorado -15
Virginia -19
New Mexico -20
Michigan -28
Pennsylvania -27
Maine -16
Florida -25
Texas -38
Even California is -7

Going to the previous thread that showed Trump up 9 in Texas, I would say that the Biden 40% is about right. I think he maxes at 42% here, and might have trouble reaching that, so final number should be 12-14% for Trump.
Cruz up 3% on Allred…LOL. 44% is the absolute max he will reach in the state. This is an 8-12% race when the votes are counted. If Beto, in a Dem year, with the amount of money he had, couldn’t win, Allred has no chance in hell.

Vic, reminds me of the rule of thumb on an internal poll; the number for the poll’s candidate is probably right, but add at least five to the opponent. If n this case, 52-44 sounds close to what I expect the race to hover around, with any bonuses going to Cruz, so maybe a 54/45 split?

Seems like that Tx university pole, is off a bit.

GF, I missed that this was an internal. I think 54/45 is spot on to what it will be. Texas is trending redder right now, not bluer as Dems want, especially with this economy. I see it all around. With the exception of inner city Houston, inner city Dallas and all of So Cal Austin, people are pissed off.

Vic, I don’t think it is an actual internal poll, but just functioning as one given the general quality of university polling in general (the best Biden numbers in TX have been coming out of the UT system from what I have seen).

I feel like if Rush Limbaugh were still alive, he would be saying something like this:
“Never forget that the mainstream media is its own political party. They are closely aligned with the Democrats, but they make their own decisions, and send out the talking points. And whenever Democrats start to blow it, the media has no problem asserting itself to take whatever corrective measures are needed.
And that’s what you are seeing here with all this sudden rush of pundits calling for Biden’s head, and the media polling, like today’s ABC News / Washington Post poll showing Kamala beating Trump, while Trump is tied with Biden. This is all a coordinated effort on the part of the media to get rid of the demented candidate they knew has been demented for years. But because the debate exposed Biden’s condition to the world, now they can’t hide him any longer, so they have to finish him off.
Meanwhile the Democrats are in disarray, only because they are so used to the media just being their cheerleaders. They are used to receiving the talking points full of congratulations and praise, but suddenly they are saying, what’s this? What do we do with this? Biden’s gotta go?
Today is a great reminder that the media only cheers for the left until they feel they have to step in and fix the problem the Democrats have put themselves in.”

The four House Republicans who joined Democrats in voting against the resolution:
Reps. John Duarte (Calif.)

I think 12 failed to even vote? Deep State Turner has to protect the interests.

Bitter – the irony about the “deep state” talk is that they are probably referring to the well known “K street” crowd in DC, who are the true powerbrokers there. Administrations come and go, politicians come and go, but they all have to deal with K street…who is neither Republican or Democrat…they are the true Green ($$$) party

Vic – Words have meaning. I think those who talk about Deep State are describing something different and darker than just lobbyists. They need a dangerous conspiracy to rant about. I think Deep State is nonsense because Federal Employees would never work that hard.

As usual those on the extreme of a side take something marginally real, and then inflate it/conflate it with some conspiracy. Are there those in the government who are actively favoring the left. You bet there are. Are the DOJ and three letters involved. You can be sure there are factions inside that want to prop up the left.
That doesn’t mean its a coordinated “deep state” “CFR” “WEF” etc etc conspiracy. As you astutely point out, there are way too many people who would have to be involved in order to a. keep it a secret, b. work hard enough to make it happen at the lower administrative level.
I think a better term would be “largess” Has the Largess of the Federal Government gotten so big and bloated that they fight to keep it going. Yes.
