Zelensky was a TV personality for years. Maybe he thinks he can handle Carlson. The problem is Carlson is not really interested in a fair interview, as his fawning cream puff interview of Putin showed. He will be as aggressive against Zelensky as he was subservient with Putin.

so just when I think that the Mets are going to go somewhere, they take a 5-0 lead and have the bullpen blow it.
I will have to say, Mendoza is doing a find job as manager, handles the clubhouse well, but he SUCKS handling pitchers. As many games as the bullpen has blown, he’s been responsible for just as many losses. You could tell Scott was gassed. He was at 95 pitches and hadn’t thrown more than four innings in a month…so what does he do…leaves him in against a lefty who hits a 3 run bomb on his last pitch. UUUGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH

Meanwhile, at the top of the NL, the Phillies lost 3 of their big bats and continue to hold a 9 game lead over the Braves and 14 over the Mets. Harper (NL Player of the Month in May and June) will be back with Realmuto and Schwarber by the All Star Break.
The Mets are capable of grabbing a wild card spot. But will they?

Bitter. I think they will. I think Stearns if forced to go out and get bullpen help. BTW they have teh worst bullpen in the majors. Have blown 10, yes TEN, leads of more than 5 runs in the late innings. But, look at their bullpen. Raley – Tommy John. Reid-foley – Tommy John. Smith – Tommy John. Diaz – on DL first and now suspended ten games. They are literally without their top four relievers, which, just in the past six games, has cost them three wins.
I think they get some bullpen help, hold on to Alonzo (thank God) and make the playoffs. No clue who they get in the offseason to front the rotation. They only have two guys capable of fronting a staff in the minors, and they are both two years away. Christian Scott is a number 3 starter.
