If Trump could not hold rallies in person, would it matter? Maybe in places like the Bronx and other urban areas but not in MAGA friendly places. It seems like Trump’s rallies attract voters already voting for him. Not sure how many Independents go to endure 2 hour speeches.

Bitter, he would know anyway. No doubt he’s the type who has had his IP banned other places. So there are no secrets on this. But now if he wants to post, he will have to change his IP every single time, because I will ban every IP he changes to. If he thinks this is worth it, then he will waste far more time than I will.

A US House poll was released for CA_50. This district went to Biden +34 in 2020, so its obviously safe D, but in this poll they also asked Biden vs. Trump, and Biden could only get 51% to Trump’s 36%.

Cornel West missed the deadline in yet another state, New Mexico, so here is what appears to be the final options that will appear on the NM ballot:

So there are still several good options for the kook vote besides West.

No doubt Democrats have been polling nonstop since the Thursday debate to see if Biden is going to be a viable option going forward. It’s those polls that will determine whether he is forced off the ticket. If they determine that the best option is to hang with Biden, then the jail option will be played July 11th. Bragg’s office just sent a letter to the judge saying they would be willing to agree to holding off sentencing for an extra two weeks putting sentencing AFTER the Republican convention.
This is rather interesting. Their polling must be inconclusive because it’s the polling on sending a presidential candidate to prison is what will determine the judge’s decision on sentencing. If the polling indicates the psycho can get away with it in the court of public opinion then Trump goes to jail. It’s really that simple — Phil

Don’t think so. There is a whole infrastructure that goes with it, from advance teams, vendors, local interviews on radio stations and social media, the motorcade route to the venue, etc. So the rallies get a lot of exposure for Trump in addition to the rally itself. And for example when the Trump rally occurred at the Harrisburg Farm Expo Center, it was attended by thousands of people that would normally not go to his rally but were already there for the show.
I don’t know about independents, exactly, but if you look at his rallies in the Bronx and Philadelphia, for example, it seems there are a lot of people there that would not normally vote R.
But I don’t think they will be able to keep Trump in jail for the rest of the campaign, not going to happen.

The Biden Job Approval in that CNN poll was an astounding 36/64, -28.
Its hard to put that into historical perspective.
-28 is 6 worse than Bush 41 on election day 1992, and its TEN worse than Jimmy Carter on his disastrous and failed re-election day in 1980.
