MN might be fool’s gold but remember Trump came within 1.5 pts of winning MN in 2016, losing by about 40k votes out of. 2.7 million cast.
He lost by 7 in 2020, but if this more like 2016 than 2020 it stands to reason it will be a lot closer.

NATO is the only thing that would keep Ukraine from being invaded again by Russia.
They might as well surrender now if they agree not to join NATO in the future, that would be suicidal.

Putin is worried about the long term security agreements that Ukraine is signing with various countries, which shows they are a great idea.
He is also probably worried about Russian assets being confiscated all over the world to pay for Ukraine aid/reparations. That shows that idea is also an excellent one.
Ukraine should agree to negotiations IF the Russians return to pre-invasion borders. That still gives them control of Crimea and areas of the Donbas and a way to save face.

If the US and Europe don’t blink, Putin will lose this war from the standpoint of his goals.
His original idea was to decapitate Ukraine’s government and install a puppet regime.
His plan B was to annex as much territory as possible, and he has succeeded in gaining territory but at a terrible human and material cost.
He should not be rewarded for this invasion, period. Let him have what he already had, and even then never recognize the illegal annexation of Crimea.
