  1. NC and GA still look solid post-verdict. That’s 251 EVs.

  2. The NC poll was actually before the verdict, not that I think the results would have been different after the verdict.

  3. North Star had the same margin in NC, with a poll done mostly after the verdict.

  4. Meanwhile, the net job approval of Biden is -23 in the state of DELAWARE, according to Civiqs (D).

No doubt some of that is from far leftists upset that Biden is too moderate. But still.

  5. NY Times/Siena recontacted 2000 of the people who took their April or May battleground state surveys. Of this group, for which I have no idea its its a good representative sample, D/R/I, etc., Trump’s number went down 1 and Biden’s up 1. Statistical noise.

No major shift, except for CASH into Trump’s war chest.

  6. i stand by my claim that this sham trial will only help trump get elected. Only those in CA, IL and nY really care

  7. I think the same, Vic. The money infusion gives them the resources to support ballot harvesting infrastructure in the swing states.

  8. DW, I read an ABC News analysis of several polls that concluded about the same. Trump had not lost any support, and Biden had gained 1 point.

Not crazy about the OH poll + 8. I think Trump needs to win by 10 to get Moreno elected.

But all these state polls showing Trump ahead after the verdict are great.

Everyone is posting polls and making me feel so inferior.

So I decided I will post a poll too.

“A new poll conducted by the Alabama Republican Party shows former President Donald Trump holding a strong lead in Alabama, even after his recent conviction by a New York court. The poll has Trump garnering 59.7% of the vote to Biden’s 33.5%, and 6.8% of respondents remaining undecided.

The poll was conducted by the Alabama Republican Party, and sampled 1,643 randomly stratified likely general election voters across the state of Alabama. The survey was conducted by phone between June 1 and June 3, and has a Margin of Error of +/- 3.6%.”

    GFYs.

Even a stupid squirrel finds a nut once in awhile.

Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), who is a contender for Trump’s vice presidential pick, said it was “totally reasonable to criticize” Hogan for his post last week, but the Ohio senator acknowledged that Hogan is running in a Democrat-heavy state that President Biden won with a 33-point margin in 2020.

“He obviously is going to run a different campaign than I would run,” Vance said. “I still hope he wins.”

  13. i can only pray to God that he doesn’t pick Vance. The guy is the furthest thing from presidential material.

i still say he’s going to pick Haley

  14. Good evening! Hope you are all well! Amazing to see the work Bitterlaw, DW (anyone else?) have done here! Great job!

I would normally ask why some here don’t like Vance…..but then I recall how questions tend to “trigger” llama-lovers and others, so I’ll pass on asking that question.

    I will leave a link though – https://legalinsurrection.com/2024/06/house-gop-uncovers-more-disturbing-info-on-j6-committee-including-delay-of-secret-service-driver-testimony/

Cheney is a real piece of…..and the more information that gets uncovered, the more it reflects badly on the positions, attitudes and policies pushed by the Bush/Cheney/McCain types the last 30-40 years.

But, on the other hand, a Democrat would have been elected instead, and as we have seen with Biden, that is definitely the worse scenario.

Amazing how Trump policy/positions just keep looking better and better (other than his (and jason’s) covid/Fauci love).

Have Wissing, “CG”, MD, Author and/or Robbie passed by to explain how Biden is really doing a great job?

    Cheers!

  15. In other news, the Stanley Cup Finals begin on Saturday.

Since the Oilers wear Orange/Blue/White, like the NY Islanders do, I have adopted them as my Western Conference affiliate. It also helps that I work late these days, and their games start later in the evening! And having 2 of the best players in the league doesn’t hurt either.

Unfortunately, it does come with the downside of if they win, Baby Castro up north gets a nice photo op…….oh well……may the best team win!

  17. On Jeopardy last night there was a category about the Tuskegee Airmen. It is hard to believe the incredible devotion and bravery they displayed in serving the country that treated them like dirt.

I hate to praise any Democrat but Truman deserves praise for 2 decisions – using atomic bombs and desegregating the military.
