For those keeping score at home, Trump 45, Biden 52 was the final 2020 poll of Michigan published by Mitchell. Off by more than 4 points in Biden’s favor.

Rogers within four is good. I still think he’s a long shot to pull this off. What’s the latest on Hogan in MD. That would be a real coup detat if we can pull that off. Imagine if we are able to capture MD. MT, WV, OH, NV…and get AZ, MI and WI if things break our way. That’s 57 seats. A LOT… and I mean a lot has to happen for all those wins, but MD is now in play. MT, OH and NV are definitely ripe to swith, and in order AZ…MI…WI are borderline.
Realistically, if we end up with 53/54 that would be an outstanding night

OH is interesting, because if Biden’s failed campaign doesn’t get his name on the ballot (its an open question), then the more causal OH leftist voter who only shows up in presidential years might be more apt to just stay home, reducing votes for Brown and the Dem house candidates.

He is not on the ballot.
The only way to fix it is for the legislature to “help him out”.
So far they have not done it, and Dewine is mad about it.
I think they should pass whatever they need to put him on the ballot but maybe extract some concession for it.

Bought new riding lawn mower (as per wife’s orders).
Laid the sealed plastic bag with all the info on the new mower on ground when I unloaded it off the neighbor’s trailer. now, cannot find the sealed bag.
Went to start it today and the battery is dead. I think son #2 was fooling with it yesterday and left the switch on.
Trailer neighbor comes through with a battery charger to get me up and running again.

Dershowitz says the prosecution bringing charges against a defendant usually goes first in the closing arguments. However, in Merchan’s customized court to convict Trump, the prosecution has gone last…..probably to nail the conviction verdict in the minds of the jury before they leave to decide the fate of DJT.

retllaw, reading about all the footage of fences you’ve painted I envisioned “acres.” Ironically, I live on a 4/10 acres parcel as well. We’re surrounded by foliage and naturally stained fences – saves some work that way. Anyway, have admired your hard work and ownership tenacity.

IF the defense makes closing argument first and the prosecution goes last in all NY criminal trials, then that is just the system in NY. Trump deserves no special favor.

I will be posting yet another NV poll soon, but there is funny desperation on the side of 538. The poll only included a sample of Trump, Biden, and RFK, and Trump leads. But this pollster mentioned that their sample who voted in 2020 went 50 to 46 for Biden. And so 538, desperate for good news for Biden, posted that the poll shows a Biden lead of 50 to 46 in NV right now!
