Not related, just interested because there is an effort by some left-wing deconstructionist author who was writing a book to tear York down and claim he was some sort of loafer who didn’t do anything in that battle.
Even though archeological work was done in the last 20 years that confirmed the historicity of that battle, down to finding the York’s spent bullet shells. York is a hero, and whenever there is an American hero, its like red meat to the leftist insects who must destroy the hero.
