    40% would actually be an improvement for Trump in RI, he only got 38% in 2020 and 39% in 2016.

    Here is the track record of the U of NH in polling their own state:

    NH 2020 polling UNH:

    Feb: Trump +2

    May: Trump +2

    Jun: Biden +13

    Jul: Biden +13

    Sep: Biden +9

    Oct: Biden +12

    Oct: Biden +8

    Res: Biden +7.35

    And so they were essentially spot on in their final 2020 poll. However…

    NH 2016 polling UNH:

    Oct: Hillary +15

    Oct: Hillary +7

    Nov: Hillary +11

    Res: Hillary +1

    They were off by 10 points in favor of Hillary.
