Last night, my softball team played a team where the other team’s players had their names on their jerseys. Never a good sign. The first pitch to them was a home-run. The game score was never that close again. We lost 17-6. The bright spots were an unassisted double play by my 1st baseman and one inning where we gave up no runs.

Vic/DW – I always expect bad things to happen to Philadelphia teams. The Phillies will probably win 130 games and then lose in the playoffs to a Mets team that got the last wildcard on the third tie-breaker.

A new clock store opened up in Florida. Behind it was a swamp where a large alligator lived. The clock store had thousands of clocks and they all chimed, dinged and dong-ed every hour on the hour. The noise scared away most of the birds, rodents, etc. that the alligator fed on. The alligator decided to go into the clock store and eat all the noisy clocks. It took him a long time.
You could say it was a time-consuming adventure.

agreed. I always thought GOP candidates should do more of this. I know it wont net a lot of votes, but I think people feel marginalized when they only get attention from one party. Heck, he’s going to be President of every American, not just those who vote for him, so why not show he’s not afraid to go into areas like this. Kudos to him

Absolutely. I am a big supporter of the Electoral College, but one drawback is that candidates end up ignoring huge sections of the electorate. Like Trump didn’t care if he lost CA by 4 million votes as long as he could win WI by one vote.
The fact is people in the Bronx are very much affected by who is in power, even if they voted 87% for Biden. THEY are the ones that can’t afford a 25% rise in food prices or rents or transportation costs or utilities.
Candidates are normally afraid of going where they feel they won’t be welcomed, because they might be booed on national TV. You will never see Biden at a NASCAR event.
That is why I give credit to Trump for going to the Bronx. You can bet he will now go to other places Rs normally would not be seen.

I think Republican candidates should always take the fight to the opposition. I think Trump should show up at CNN and MSNBC until they let him on. Call up The View and keep calling until they book him on the show. Call up Oprah and offer to do a live interview with Stormy Daniels sitting next to him.

Anybody wo is handy want to buy a used riding 2012 Troy built Pony lawn mower, 43″ cut?
I bout it used 4 years ago for $1,600. Selling for $250. Last year I had to spend money to get one of the tires fixed (put a tube in it). And I put a new battery in it last year.
It works and cuts fine, but needs a new mower belt ($48) [the one on it is old and nicked and jumps off the pullies frequently]and one headlight bulb is burnt out ($6).
Plus, we put a lot of duct tape on some steering mechanism part last year to keep it from jumping out and it has held well. And I just spent a lot of time to level the mowing deck…(have no price on replacing that part. But Duct tape has done the job for over a year).

Another effect of the rally is that it showed people on the jury afraid of being doxxed or made into a pariah for not convicting him that maybe that not everyone in NYC is anti-Trump.

Good point jason. Jurors are not allowed to discuss the case or watch the news, but it would be nearly impossible for them to not learn of a crowd of 30,000 showing up for Trump.
