The Phillies have a good team. (I just threw up saying that), but they do. They have solid pitching, timely hitting, if they get their bullpen straight they can content with the Braves and Dodgers. And…they have done what you are supposed to do, beat up on the bad teams. They are 25-5 against teams with a sub 500 record. That’s how you get to the playoffs.
The Mets are in the running to battle Washington and Miami for worst team in the East, they are not going to the playoffs.

Cash Cow and I worked the polls today.
Things were fairly smooth…not much trouble. about 20% turnout (always disappointing).
Earned $300 (before taxes) for working from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
I failed to learn my lesson from working the polls about 8 years ago and what a long and grueling day it is.

As a former HHR elected official, I protest that I was not consulted or at least informed of this mission. TBH, though, I don;’t recall what office I was actually elected to, just that Michael in the salmon sport coat vehemently refused to cast his ballot for me. That I did not win by acclamation and instead had to suffer the ignominy of being one vote shy of a unanimous victory will forever haunt me.

As well, he doesn’t want any audience, microphones that cut off when the leftist moderators demand, etc.
Why would Trump agree to any of this. Who cares about a debate in June? Early Sept. I know why Biden wants all of this, because he wants time to recover if he gets thrashed.
They will pump him full of drugs to make him coherent for the debates, but, by election time his performance will have long faded. I think not having a crowd there is a VERY bad idea.
