Not only is Bullfinch not herding with other pollsters, they’re not even herding with their own polls!
I saw a survey that had Trump substantially closing the gap in NYC proper, and only 11 behind in Queens (I can buy the Queens and Stalin numbers in Staten, and 25% in the Bronx seems legit; having trouble with 25% in Brooklyn and high teens in Manhattan until I see it). But if he does only lose the 5 Burroughs by 25-30, he’ll be doing a lot better in NEPA and some parts of NJ.

Chip Roy is an isolationist moron who opposes aid. Of course he is going to say that.
Janzam you are one gullible imbecile.
Your only concern is that aid IS working and IS keeping your man Putin from enslaving Ukraine.
You don’t give a damm about “audits”, that is just an excuse for your hatred of the Ukrainian people and their brave fight to survive.

Biden should lose a lot of the Jewish vote in NY. I am sure the orthodox community won’t vote for him. But will the upper West Side and East Side liberal Jews turn on him over Israel? There are almost 1.5 million Jews in NYC proper, over 2.2 million in the state.
If they switched to R it would definitely have an impact. Unfortunately, I think too many Jewish liberals believe more in liberal causes than they do Israel.
But there are other factors. Many are elderly. Do they feel more unsafe now with all the crime and pro-Hamas demonstrations?

I am convinced GF that Emerson poll of New Jersey (Biden +7, or Biden +5 with the others included) is no lie. Its why Monmouth still refuses to release questions 36-39 of their own poll, pretending instead that people would rather see these questions that they did release:
“Does Your Part of The State Get Its Fair Share? It Depends”
“Cost of Living is Key Factor in Desire to Leave State; Property Taxes Top Issue List”
“Murphy Job Approval Holds at 50%”
“Public Calls for Menendez Resignation”
“Murphy is Most Recognized Name in Senate Field; Kim has Higher Favorables”
These were all SEPARATELY released headlines from the same poll. But they refuse to release the Biden vs Trump numbers because they won’t participate in the notion that Biden is in trouble. They don’t want to depress the base of their party.
Similarly, Unfairleigh-Dickinson University is sitting on their Trump vs. Biden poll, so far releasing only the Senate portion of the poll, with the rest held “for future release.” We will wait to see if the future ever comes.

Pretty sad. You can understand people who get their news from Putin propaganda sources like Zerohedge, Gatewaypundit and Tucker Carlson like Tina and Janzam fail to recognize the importance of opposing Putin’s dream of a new USSR or Greater Russia.
But elected officials should know better.
I know, many of them support Ukraine but are afraid of being primaried by the hostage takers.

After months of indecision, the Biden White House is on the verge of releasing the ArmyTactical Missile System, or ATACMS, to the Ukrainian Armed Forces to assist in the expulsion of Russian forces from their country.
No final decision has been made on when the missiles will be delivered, but the report, now running exclusively on ABC News, indicates that it is a question of when and no longer if. ”Jan does not want to support Ukraine, Israel or Taiwan”
I’ve never said I didn’t want to support Israel or Taiwan. If you notice, though, the major portion of that aid package is being allocated to Ukraine, not Israel or Taiwan. Ukraine has already received huge amounts of aid from us,, especially when compared to what neighboring European countries are giving. Only about a third of that Ukrainian aid has been accounted for as well, supposedly going towards armaments. The other monies go where? Pensions, official salaries and oligarchs pockets perhaps? Additionally, our own supply of munitions has been so severely reduced that many in the military have said we are not well equipped to defend Taiwan should China invade it. Israel, OTOH, is being micro-managed by the Biden administration to have a cease fire, while Biden continues to supply aid to Gaza (going directly to Hamas), and even Iran who is actively engaged in warfare with Israel.
Our aid packages, foreign policies, and intentions have literally become a circus of hypocrisy.

Despite a handful of denunciations, on this blog, towards those wanting to constrain further offshoring of money to Ukraine, I will stand by what has become a majority of the Republican electorate – that our concerns of sovereignty should be focused on our own failed borders. This should be a primary stance of the opposition party standing up to the Biden Administration’s many destructive foreign/domestic policies. The fact some republicans, however, joined in the dem theatrics of waving Ukrainian flags in the House chamber is reprehensible, and will negatively echo and impact the upcoming 2024 elections. Trump’s apparent endorsement of a Ukrainian “loan” will also not sit well with many of his supporters. It was a bad move by him.

DW, I think it remains to be seen who RFK hurts the most. Party affiliation means less these days than policy, IMO. RFK is seen as a renegade to progressive dem party politics, much like Trump is viewed by establishment republicans. For instance RFK is pro US border defense, critical of big pharma and the Intel departments, themes favored by many republicans and opposed by Dems. The stunts put on by Johnson lately – passing big budget and Ukraine funding bills – just might shove some disillusioned R’s over to RFK.

Bitter – all 3 questions require one answer. Securing our own border should be a priority over another country’s border – period. If there is a government in place like Biden’s, where they don’t want to protect our border, the opposition party (supposedly that would be Republicans) should impose every possible measure available to make that happen, including opposing legislation, budgets, and foreign bills the Biden Administration is proposing. Instead, the republicans folded like a cheap suit, and got little to nothing for our own safety. Why even have an opposition party who acts in sync with the party on the left?
Furthermore there is far more of a national security risk having an unmonitored, Swiss cheese type of border here than presuming what Russia’s next moves will be should Ukraine fall. None of this even takes into account Ukraine’s well known governmental corruption with unaudited funding, the $35 trillion debt crunch we are under, borrowing more to give more overseas while neglecting people undergoing hardships from our ever increasing inflationary economy.
