Its borderline irresponsible for a poll of North Carolina to not include Kennedy as this is one of the states where he has the signatures to be on the ballot.

Back in 1992, Bill Clinton emerged from the Dem Primary as a deeply flawed candidate with much personal baggage. But he was able to take his message to the people and revive his image. He connected with voters and he won (thanks to Perot for the assist).
In 2000, Al Gore only needed to run as a third term for Clinton policies, but without the impeached Clinton’s baggage and scandals. Should have been an easy lift, but the arrogant and condescending Gore came off as everyone’s least favorite university professor, and he narrowly lost, despite winning the popular vote. He had a chance to win, had he shown any warmth and connection with the voters, but it wasn’t in him.
In 2004, John Kerry had many of the same problems as Gore, but remarkably was even more condescending and out of touch. He could not present any sort of positive image of himself, so he lost.
In 2008, Obama emerged from the tightly contested Dem Primary, as a radical hard-left candidate who expressed fondness for his liberation theology preacher and the message that white folks greed runs a world in need. And like Clinton he took his message to the people, revived his image and won bigly.
In 2016, the scandal plagued Hillary Clinton emerged from the Dem Primary and came off as a combo of the condescending least favorite university professor AND the shrill and abrasive ex-wife. Without any capacity or will to revive her image, connect with voters and win, she lost to Trump.
In 2020, Biden was able to revive his image of a has-been, and with a huge assist from the media, came off as a grandfatherly figure who would heal the country, and he won (with the aid of unattended ballot dropboxes, ballots mailed all over the place, ballot harvesting, etc.)
Finally, we come to 2024. The grandfatherly image of Biden is gone–now replaced with a bitter, sniping, old memory care patient who has to be led around by the hand. His first-term policies were far further left than people imagined.
And here is Biden’s problem for 2024. His health problems due to the ravages of old age are irreversible. Its beyond him now to connect with voters at a personality level.
He can only be saved now by the media, if the media can dig deep and fool everyone into thinking that Biden connects with them personally. But I don’t think they can hide Biden in the basement through November. By election day, most voters will know that a vote for Biden is a vote for someone who really belongs in an assisted living facility.
And so that leaves it to the ballot harvesters to save the day. Mail out ballots at a clip of three or four ballots for every voter, then send the army out there to find them, fill them out, and put them into drop boxes.
Trump’s team is going to need to counter this by sending out their own army to find the unwanted ballots first, and shred them so that Biden’s army doesn’t fill them out and put them in the drop boxes.

GF, if Biden underperforms in NY or CA compared to previous elections, it will be because voters switched from Biden to Trump. The population outflow in those states seems to include more R’s than D’s given what’s happening in Florida. All things being equal, the D should win CA and NY by larger numbers than previously. If they don’t, it’s because voters are switching allegiance.

Not going to happen. Trump doesn’t have the “army” in the areas where this mostly happens, which is in inner city neighborhoods controlled by Democrats.
And your assessment of the media is wishful thinking too. Unfortunately, many people STILL won’t know about “belongs in an assisted living facility” because they only get their news from the MSM, not to mention that there is about 40% of America that would vote for Biden even if WAS in a nursing home, just like 40% of America will vote for Trump even if he is in jail.
There is really only one way for Trump to win, and that is to win the swing states by margins that make it impossible to cheat.
If he “wins” any of these states by tight margins under say 50k votes in AZ, NV, WI or 100k votes in PA or MI the Dems will keeping counting enough votes to win.
That is one reason I can’t get excited by small 2pt or 3 pt leads in any of these states. That is not enough to overcome the MOF.

My post was a bit on the sarcastic side about “Trump’s army” because yeah, they don’t have it.
In Philly, they will kick out any GOP observers, lock the doors, and any judges around that will be appealed to will cover their ears.

Frankly I don’t know ANYBODY who voted for Biden or Trump that now is going to switch votes.
Maybe these people exist, but I never met anybody who says that. I know, we read about blacks who will now vote for Trump and Trump voters that now say they will switch to Biden because of J6 or because of the charges against him. But I personally don’t know anybody like that, family, friends, acquaintances or anybody in a bar, restaurant, casino, or store.
In my view, these are a small percentage of voters and they are not deciding the election. People who voted last time and are now staying home or voting 3rd party, didn’t vote lin 2020 but will vote in 2024 and new voters will decide it.

I listen to a local conservative radio host. He has weekly calls on his show with a Republican who is going all over PA to register Rs at gun shows, Amish farms, local sporting events, etc. Jason won’t like him because he encouraged older voters and the Amish to vote by mail if they won’t/can’t vote on Election Day. His name is Scott Pressler.
