I read a story where a 22 year old male high school volleyball coach was accused of assault of a 15 year old female player on the team. He killed himself by stepping in front of a train. If he did assault that girl, good result.
If the accusation was fake, the girl has his death on her hands.
Either way, maybe hiring a 22 year old guy to coach a high school team should be re-evaluated. Of course, older evil people also commit heinous crimes against minors.

They should be. Look at the polling aggregator above, now that the averages in NV, AZ, and GA are based on polls including Kennedy. Huge boost to Trump’s chances in these states. It essentially puts Trump’s floor at 268 EVs.
Have not yet updated Michigan, but the current numbers with or without Kennedy are about the same there.
Trump can get to 269 by winning the blueish congressional district in Nebraska.
Otherwise, win outright any of these states: MI, ME, PA, WI or any other state.

Apparently in some states the RFK effort will be a write-in campaign. I won’t include RFK in the polling in those states as write-ins are far less likely to happen in any sort of measurable quantity. But where RFK makes the ballot, then the polling should be taken seriously. Now as the election draws near, it would not surprise me to see his polling dry up in battleground states.

Vic, this is true, but we need to temper expectations at this point, because as of right now, Kennedy is NOT on the ballot in PA or WI. Michigan is huge though, and will be watching the polling there very carefully. If Kennedy could get on the ballot in Maine, it would almost certainly throw the state’s 2 EVs in favor of Trump.
But with Trump’s floor at 268 EVs, he probably should make a strong play for that Nebraska district, as insurance. Its a HUGE world of difference to be at only 268 compared to a tie at 269.
I don’t believe Trump would survive a 269-269 tie, but at least he would be in the game. At only 268, its lights out.

DW – I have been preaching the NE-2 vote is imperative meme for months. Where I disagree with you is on the 269-269 tie. Trump will become President then. Republicans will control more states in the next House than Dems will…I believe it will be 27-21-2 or something similar. There is no way a Republican controlled state delegation would vote against Trump. They would all be primaried or forced out of office. If it is tied, Trump is President.

The only way to prevent it is for the state GOP require a signed irrevocable pledge that if the elector cannot support the party candidate he/she can be replaced by someone who will.
I am sure it would be challenged in court but in the end SCOTUS would probably affirm it if it came to that. Plus the courts in the states Trump wins would be more likely to uphold the pledge than say in CA or NY.

Got a letter from the Eastern WV Community Foundation about our investment our of which we give a $1,000 scholarship for college each year to a deserving HS graduate who is pursing a career in teaching. We have been doing this since 2008.
They manage over $40MM in assets from local people that give scholarships and grants to local worthy organizations and individuals.
They got a return on their investments of just over 15% last year.
Not bad.

It dropped the port anchor as a last ditch effort but the momentum can’t be slowed very quickly. I read where it takes 2 miles to stop a ship that big going 10 knots.
If you look at the video, you will see that at the last moment the ship does regain some control and lurches to the left to try to avoid the pylon but it was too late.
As far as being “uncanny”, not really, the span to cross under the bridge is pretty narrow so if you are off course you are going hit something. Since it was a truss bridge, any section he took out would have the same effect as hitting that pylon.
