In physics, the difference between redshift and blueshift is a measurement of the increase or decrease of light. The chart below includes states with sufficient 2024 polling data to get an average polling result. This average is then compared against the actual 2020 results to measure how many states have shifted to the red (toward Trump) and how many states are happy with Biden’s performance and have shifted further to the blue. But as you can see below, there are no states that have moved further toward Biden.

Just to be clear, this was my post, not Bitter’s. No polling on a Saturday, so I thought some might find this chart interesting.

I think this chart is just screaming the reality that voters in every state are saying that they are not better off than they were 4 years ago. Not in Minnesota, not in Florida, not in California or anywhere.
I would also point out that the bulk of this 2024 polling is being done by pollsters that historically have been no friends of the GOP. Siena/NY Times, SSRS/CNN, FoxNews, Redfield and Wilton, Morning Consult/Bloomberg, and Emerson own the lion’s share of polling thus far.

The Russian concert killings continues to evolve in speculation of who is behind it.
First there was Victoria Nuland’s departure comments about Ukraine going into asymmetrical warfare, with Putin experiencing some “nasty” events in the future.
Then there were the US warnings regarding a possible Isis attack on a concert hall in Russia, followed up by Isis laying claim to the attack.
A more current possibility surrounds the capture of men fleeing to an open window portion of the Ukrainian border. The men were European and not Middle Eastern, and were said to be paid mercenaries. Apparently Ukrainian cells have already been identified as creating smaller attacks inside of Russia – examples of Nuland’s asymmetrical warfare she hoped for and predicted more to occur, especially if the funding package was approved.
Unfortunately, the Russian carnage might just be a trailer to a larger movie that could happen right here in the US – having unvetted trespassers forming cells throughout the country, just waiting to be activated. We have ignored, even welcomed, violations in our own national security defenses, while being obsessed in becoming a proxy defender of an overseas border invasion.

DW – I think you see this shift as well in senate races and I think the Senate is below everyone’s radar, which is a shame. I Can see things falling the right way and not just taking the Senate, but actually making substantial gains.
hogan (yes. He’s a RINO…but still is an R) has put MD in play, OH and MT are very much in play.

Janzam LOVES Russian propaganda like the good little brainwashed turd she is.
The smear that Ukraine was behind this is something Putin said so he can garner more support for his war crimes, so of course Janzam jumps on it like a maggot on roadkill.
Wow, the terrorists headed for the nearest border instead of remaining in Russia?
What a surprise.

Who said it it?
Your only source for Russian propaganda, Putin and the Russian State Media?
Mercenaries are paid soldiers who will fight for money, a soldier of fortune so to speak.
People who conduct what is most likely a suicidal raid into a civilian venue and shoot dozens of people in cold blood are not mercenaries, they are terrorists who believe in a cause.
Terrorists commit mass murders for a cause, not for money.

But don’t be surprised if the terrorists sign a confession that they were actually paid by Zelensky and the Butcher personally, each went in with 50%.
Janzam will believe it.

I hope so, but I think this is probably BS.
With hundreds of thousands of Russian troops INSIDE Ukraine, I am sure Janzam won’t object to a few “Ukrainian cells” inside Russial

Let me ask Janzam the Putin Lapdog a question.
Considering the destruction in lives and property that the Russians are inflicting inside Ukraine, the Ukranians are more than justified in carrying out attacks inside Russia.
Yes or no?

No wonder Janzam is blaming Ukraine….
“Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, denied any involvement.
“Ukraine has never resorted to the use of terrorist methods,” he posted on X. “Everything in this war will be decided only on the battlefield.”
Ukraine’s foreign ministry accused Moscow of using the attack to try to stoke fervor for its war efforts.
“We consider such accusations to be a planned provocation by the Kremlin to further fuel anti-Ukrainian hysteria in Russian society, create conditions for increased mobilization of Russian citizens to participate in the criminal aggression against our country and discredit Ukraine in the eyes of the international community,” the ministry said in a statement.”

When I think of this war that Putin started, I cannot help but think of the color red being associated with Russia and the old USSR flag, against Revelation 6:3-4, “When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, ‘Come!’ And out came another horse, bright red. Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people should slay one another, and he was given a great sword.”
Putin has certainly taken peace from that region of the world. And if we give Biden another four years, it may easily expand to the entire earth in WWIII.

It doesn’t matter much if Ukraine did the Moscow deed (I strongly suspect not); it’ll be portrayed that way in order to further the narrative.

I post one comment with three speculations (not conclusions) arising out of yesterday’s mass murder in Russia, and it becomes a feeding frenzy of negativity. I also express alarm, regarding our own vulnerability because of the laxness and lawlessness governing our southern/northern open borders. Similar clucking noises are then generated calling such an association “absurd.” Wow, this board is the one getting more and more myopic, absurd, and intolerant in how it downplays any discussion not absolutely matching their own. You guys are actually devolving into your own kind of Putin despotic figurines!

55 Senators, even 53, is important not only to provide a cushion for 2026, but to also allow Collins and Murk free votes to part ways from the party line, and to also prevent them from holding up good legislation when 51 are already onboard.

GF, add Hogan to the list with Collins and Murk. They need 54 to avoid the silliness going on in the House (53 if Trump somehow pulls off the miracle and wins against all odds).

I am just posting the polling information as it is. Trump happens to be the GOP nominee. I wanted DeSantis. But the majority in the GOP wanted to do this election the hard way and get half the results (4 years instead of 8).

D congr3sscrittr David Trone and candidate for U.S> Senate from MD got in trouble the other day. He had to apologize for using a “racial slur”.
He said that some piece of proposed federal legislation was a real “bugaboo” (which I understood to mean that it was full of problems).
But it turns out that “bugaboo” is some sort of derogatory term than disparages Blacks. Who knew?
That is why he is in trouble.

On a related note, I want to bring up the country music song, “If Heaven Ain’t a Lot Like Dixie, Then I Don’t Want To Go.”
It that goes:
“If heaven ain’t a lot like Dixie
Then I don’t want to go.
If heaven ain’t a lot like Dixie
I’d just as soon stay home.
If they don’t have a Grand Ole Opry
Like they do in Tennessee
Just send me to hell or New York City
It would be about the same to me.”
How many of you feel that this song is racist and should be banned from the airwaves and the person who wrote those lines should be shot?

Here is what he said:
““So this Republican jigaboo that — it’s the tax rate that’s stopping business investment, it’s just completely faulty by people who have never run a business,” said Trone, 68, without pause during the hearing.”
He says he meant to use the word bugaboo,–not jigaboo.
Sorry about me spreading false information.
I am glad that the word bugaboo is not a racially insensitive word, and I will continue to use it in every day conversation.

Jan don’t waste your time in this blog. They believe they are always right and anyone who dares questions their beliefs are wrong and they will paint you as an evil minded person who loves America’s enemies. Just look at the names they call you and Tina. I’m pretty sure Bitter and Jason would not talk to women like that in public; at least not in front of their wives. But for some reason; they feel they can get away with it in here. And they do. You don’t see Vic or DW supposedly Christian guys condemning them. Nope. I guess when they are online their true nature comes out.

Bitter calls Tina “Putina,” probably because Tina has nicknames she uses for everyone else. But wow, I didn’t know that I was supposed to be about the task of condemning everyone who posts on here whenever I see them sin against someone else.
So I guess I will start with you, MichiganGuy, and call you out for your slander of bitter and jason saying, “they will paint you as an evil minded person.” They haven’t said that Jan and Tina are minded toward evil, only that they are naive in their support of Putin despite his evil actions, and that they are inexplicably indifferent toward the Ukranian victims.
I haven’t always agreed with Bitter and Jason. And that’s okay. But I can understand the frustration they have in their conversations with Tina and Jan when they won’t answer questions like who started this war? and who invaded? and who is responsible for all the death? and so on.
I do appreciate the contributions Tina and Jan make when it comes to polling, and things going on here, even though I think they are are off base when it comes to the actions of Putin.

Even if one thinks America shouldn’t be involved, one can still affirm the following:
Putin is evil and fully responsible for all the death.
The world will be a better and safer place if Ukraine can prevail and the USSR not reinstated.
Ukraine cannot in any way be responsible for ‘escalating’ a war they didn’t start.
Ukraine cannot be ‘wrong’ for failing to surrender.
