If you click the link to the emerson polls, they have two sets of numbers, the first set is the standard poll results, allowing for undecided. Then they press everyone to which way they are leaning, and so the 52/48, or 50/50, is with the leaners.
RCP uses these, and so I went with these numbers as well. I have a few misgivings about it, but want to be consistent. And so whenever leaners are included, I use those numbers.

Agreed Jason. Trump is not ahead 8 in Michigan while at the same time tied in Pennsylvania. And what is funnier is how this CNN poll of MI at 50/42 has almost exactly the same dates as the Emerson poll that found it tied 50/50, and so each of these two polls are outside each other’s margin of error.
Its easy to say, well, just average the two. But if one of these is junk, then junk is in your average.
But it seems like we are entering the silly season where pollsters start going all over the place with their results.

I have wondered how much Biden’s war on gasoline and war on cars would impact the voting in Michigan. He said four years ago he was going to do this, and I don’t think many believed. They thought he was just pandering to keep the green party voters on board.

Here in Virginia, starting next year, all new car dealerships are scheduled to go out of business because of the absurd percentage of electric cars nobody wants that they must sell in order to sell the gas powered cars that everyone wants.
If I ran a dealership, I would sell those little HO (1/64) scale toy electric cars that were popular in the 60s and 70s, so to be sure and hit the sales percentage.

The push back against Johnson has to do with a number of protocols previously worked out, and then promptly violated in presenting a vote for this bill. The most specious one is brushing off the 72 hour rule for Congress to actually read the bill before voting on it. The “pork” embedded in this budget is also beyond belief, especially when our debt is growing faster than GDP growth. No amendments were allowed either, just some paltry speeches. Basically after so much rhetoric to get our debt under control, this bill only added to it. As for the border, the monies given would only speed up and facilitate processing illegals, not slowing down their invasion. What these “bozos” are doing is stepping out of the tone deaf political masses and really trying to turn our eventual financial demise around. But, the disruption of a partial government shut-down is just too unbearable for people comfortable in consensus, go-along-to-get-along deal-making to contemplate.

BTW, Mike Gallagher will be abandoning his post as early as April, following the cowardly Ken Buck, readying the path for the House majority to be under democrat control. With this latest defection, Johnson will have a one member majority, making it almost providential that he will lose the speakership, one way or the other. In the meantime, with the Dems once again leading the house Ukraine will get as much money as it wants.

I power washed one side of 7 more 8-foot sections this afternoon. I am done for the day.
I think there are 19 more sections to power wash. And then apply the wash treatment to prevent algae. And then wash off.
And then I can start stray painting the fence with stain.

A local, several generation owned car dealership (Buick and GMC Trucks) in Charls Town WV was told that the only cars the manufacture would provide would be ne electric cars. tjhe dealer said the customers re not interested in electric vehicles. I have over the years bought about 6 or 7 new or used Buicks from this dealer. Plus, they wanted him to spend gobs of money to upgrade his facility. He refused their offer and is now only selling GM trucks.
