  1. As I understand it, Dolan is the one backed by establishment republicans, and appears to have the smallest gap of votes with Brown. Moreno, the one backed by Trump is 6 pts behind Brown, in the other poll posted by DW.

Do people understand the BRICS allies Russia has aligned themselves with? They can withstand any economic sanctions and have since the war began. Russia and China have advanced weapons we don’t possess.”

Hmmm…. sounds like Putin is dangerous, huh? Isn’t the Putin sycophants argument that he is a harmless puppy dog?

So maybe we shouldn’t be allowing him to invade and enslave any country he wants just because he threatens nukes?

JeffP and the other Putin lapdogs are at war with themselves as usual.

  7. Moreno has changed his script on quite a few issues, including his support for Trump, making it confusing to know where he really stands. However, other than Trump he also has endorsements by quite a few conservatives, including Ohio favorites J D Vance and Jim Jordan. The Dems, though, must think Moreno is the weakest of the 3 vying for the Republican nomination this coming Tuesday, as they are running $2.5 million dollar last minute reverse psychology ads on him.

NEW: From FLA courthouse in Trump’s classified documents case with a prediction. Robert Hur report and testimony is the biggest elephant in the room. The term “arbitrary enforcement” used frequently by both the defense and Judge Aileen Cannon. Cannon hammered the fact no former president or vice president has been charged under Espionage Act for taking and keeping classified records including national defense information–which represents 32 counts against Trump in Jack Smith’s indictment.

Prediction: Cannon won’t dismiss the case based on the motions debated today–vagueness of Espionage Act and protection under the Presidential Records Act. But it’s very likely she will dismiss the case based on selective prosecution, a motion still pending before her.

  12. Ohio is pretty simple. Dolan has the name, and the money to win in Ohio. Moreno hands the seat/keeps the seat in Dem hands. Fortunately I doubt he wins the primary

  13. “I heard that VP Harris is touring an abortion clinic today. DW says abortion will not be a big issue in the election. Both can be true.”

Abortion will be AN issue, but poll after poll shows it 10% or less for being the BIG issue, which is always the economy, and being overrun by illegals / crime.

So let Harris tour abortion clinics. Let her celebrate death. If the BIG issue is the economy, followed by illegals and crime, and Biden/Harris avoid these issues like the plague, then they will ride abortion all the way to a stunning defeat.

  14. We look at the Presidential races a lot, but the under the radar races are very important, especially in the House. Here is a poll of Alaska from a Dem operative and it doesn’t look good for the Dems.

Alaska At-Large District – Peltola vs. Begich vs. Dahlstrom vs. Bye Data for Progress (D)**

    (1st Round) Peltola 44%, Begich 35%, Dahlstrom 10%, Bye 2%

    (2nd Round)

    Peltola 48%, Begich 41%, Dahlstrom 12%

    (Final Round)

    Peltola 50%, Begich 50%

It would be good to take this seat back, and if this is the best they can do, you have to imagine final round is more 53-47 than 50-50.

BTW – Can I mention that I think the ranked voting systems is ABSURD. Move to a run-off, but this idea of the third place candidate potentially winning is ridiculous.

  15. DW – All of your big issues were also big in 2022 and 2023. It did not work out well for our side.

I will say it now so mark it in the Annals. If Trump loses, abortion will be the issue that costs him the election.

  18. Bitter – they were big issues because they were on the ballot. The Dems shot themselves in the foot by getting it on the ballot, and it motivated the murder lovers to come out and vote. A lot of pro life voters were contents with the SC decision and didn’t come to the ballot box during the off year elections. That won’t be the case.

Michigan was the big one, and it was already voted on, so no extra motivation to come to the ballot box. I don’t see another state with it on the ballot where it could make a difference, though I am not sure and happy to have someone with more info weigh in.

  20. Seems like the selective prosecution will be the next focus by judge cannon.

Demented had classified documents. He took them as a senator and vp. He was not authorized to have them and used them for financial gain. But he is too mentally gone to stand trial?

The president can have access to those documents. He sets what is classified and not. Even Andy McCarthy and Bondo Barr do not dispute that.

I don’t see how stoner can claim trump packed all those boxes personally and did not have any right to have them (if they were even classified) given he was president and covered by the Pra. Seems like stoner should sue the GSA for shipping sheot in error.

What he takes is his official copy. He can declare it as such and the pra makes no exclusion.

Bitter – My fault then. I misunderstood the point you were trying to make. I still disagree. 28. People frequently press Trump to widen his appeal for the general election. And he should.

But by the same token, BIden/Harris err if all they do is keep spiking the abortion football, and not widen their appeal. The problem is they cannot talk about the economic crisis or border crisis, because they created each.

Remember how well it worked for Scott Walker in the 2016 GOP primary when all he kept doing was spiking his teacher’s union victory football.

  29. Bitter – people are dumb. I think you are right in that there are those whose ability to kill an unborn child is more important than paying more for food, housing, rent, school, clothing, etc. That is very sad.

  30. Bitter could very well be right. But I think its one of those things where something happens over and over until it doesn’t.

Like the Phillies might take the first three from the Mets in a four game set, and the Mets used up their best three pitchers. So their fourth starter goes out there against Wheeler and the Phils, so you rightly conclude that a sweep is about to happen, but somehow the Mets win and avoid the sweep.

    Like

  31. DW – I would reverse the scenario, since of course the Mets would be the obvious choice to win the first three based on their superiority, especially of their fans, but…yes, you’re right. I guess we won’t know until we know.

I tend to agree with Vic that those who support unlimited abortion are Biden voters. Nothing will change their vote. The economy and immigration have a far greater appeal – even more so now with the flotilla of Haitians coming on the horizon. Basically, the US is being negatively inundated and impacted by Biden’s bad policies hitting all at once, including the bad economic news today.
