I was only half joking above about them just not liking the poll results, but I have seen it from Emerson. They polled a bunch of battleground states in January, and then just didn’t release them. They were all very strong polls from Trump. They admitted to these polls in February when the news was slightly better for Biden, so they spoke of his improvement since the (phantom) January poll, even providing the topline numbers for the January poll for comparison.

Believe it or not Trump followed constitutional protocols and SC rulings far more than democrats have done and still don’t do. In DC Trump could authorize having the presence of the national guard, which he did right before January 6th, an act witnessed by the Miller the acting SOD and even General Millie (sp). However, his authorization alone had to be approved by the Mayor of DC and Pelosi the Speaker of the House. In writing, they refused to give their approval, Pelosi citing it would be “bad optics” to have the guard there. When the chaos erupted there was a frantic effort to get them there, with Trump’s staff calling for such. However, they were told it would take time to get them in position.
So, bitter, stop making accusations and statements that are flat out wrong. There are many other scrabbles you can use, why you take issue with Trump, other than untrue ones

As for your mockery of Gateway Pundit and others, they are condemned for publishing stories the MSM doesn’t want out there for public consumption – stories which paint an uncomfortable narrative of the government’s totalitarian overreach in the lives of the people. Consequently they label these sites as peddling conspiracy nonsense. And, much like the Russia, Russia falsehoods, once a lie takes root it’s difficult to unroot. More open minds will at least swirl around and investigate the details surrounding these stories, to see if there is any “there, there,” rather than simply discarding them as trash.

If he had improperly called for the national guard’s presence, before the riot started, he would also be accused of treason or acting like a dictator.

And Bitter is correct, if Trump wanted troops there he could have gotten them. But it doesn’t mean he wanted violent riots to happen and the Capitol to be invaded.
Janzam and Tina are bringing up the troop issue to distract from having to condemn those who assaulted police officers, trespassed the Capitol, destroyed public property and stole public and personal property.
Until they admit that was wrong and these people should be prosecuted (fairly) for their crimes they have no moral standing to be critical of anyone else.

John Eastman is probably the “expert” Bitter was referring to. Eastman is a constitutional expert who used a technical point in the constitution to remedy questions of fraud raised by states after an election. Such fraud/irregularities were in the process of being debated, before certification was made. However, once that debate was roiled by the fed-led “insurrection,” the debate abruptly ended, and Pence proceeded to forfeit any opportunity he had to grant the request of some states to have further time to review their vote.
Eastman, in the meantime, has been put through the government grinder ever since, with their intention to strip him of everything. Ironically, the legal technicality he posed to remedy any manifestations of election fraud, was addressed by Congress, after the fact, and erased. Why do that, if it wasn’t a legitimate factor to use in the issue of whether or not to certify an election of such importance?

Most estimates say the damage to the Capitol was between $1.5 and 2 million. A few outrageous people and media sites have claimed the amount to be as high as $30 million. The deaths occurring were at the hands of the Capitol police, including the munitions recklessly and maliciously used to incite the crowd gathered below. Most of the injuries claimed by the Capitol police have been shown to be fraudulent by video clips being released. These same videos display a crowd wandering through the building, talking to and being shown around by officers, many contained within rope lines like tourists. There was no graffiti, and the windows broken were made suspiciously by people in black, looking nothing like Trump supporters.
A much bigger event was the $2 billion damages incurred by the Summer of Love BLM riots, where businesses and federal buildings were torched, and over 2 dozen people died. While people were arrested for their mischief, most were speedily released without punishment, unlike the J6ers who have been hunted down, tortured, incarcerated without bail or trials – 1350 so far with a 1000 more still being pursued by the DC DA.
….and yet Bitter and Jason continue to support their definition of a just rule of law applied to both of these incidents.

I always said that BLM AND the J6 protesters should be prosecuted. Both groups. BLM was generally not. J6 were overcharged. Neither group should have avoided justice.

The fact there were two systems of justice for the criminals on J6 and the BLM criminals doesn’t absolve the J6 criminals.
Many of the J6 defendants were grossly overcharged while BLM defendants were let go.
However, it does not mean the J6 defendants shouldn’t be prosecuted for the crimes they actually committed and receive punishment commensurate with the crime and established precedent and guidelines.

If the Dems don’t win the electoral votes in November there are plans to not certify a Trump victory. According to a recent Rasmussen poll around 57% of Dems agree to such a strategy. It’s funny how even the whiff of questioning or not certifying Biden’s win, via substantial irregularities noted, was worthy of impeachment, indictments, and imprisonment of the other side.
