This is why they are called “illegal aliens.” 👇🏻 Alien is the correct legal terminology for any non U.S. citizen/resident, & entering the country other than through the immigration system is a criminal offense.
I doubt Trump would ever give Pompeo any type of Secretary job in a new administration, let alone SOS. Maybe he could fill an ambassadorship somewhere.
”Members of the New York Fire Department (FDNY) who are fed-up with Trump-hating fascist attorney general Letitia James during a recent promotion ceremony are now facing severe consequences”
Like the J6 protesters, the firefighters who were verbally disruptive are being identified through the video taken of the event, hunted down, “retrained” and punished for their free speech misbehavior. How many times, though, have leftist students and BLM, Antifa organizations been not only verbally disruptive but abusively violent in their protests, without any governmental blow back or legal consequences? Our two-tier system of justice is becoming more frequent and evident, with people apparently accepting it as a matter of our hierarchy’s definition of equal justice.

“Pittsburgh police have announced changes to their response protocols that will include officers no longer responding to calls not considered “in-progress emergencies.” Such calls would include incidents such as theft, harassment, and burglary alarms.
Instead, calls will be directed to a telephone recording unit, where reports can be filed over the phone”
I watched episode 1 of the FDR biography on Hulu today and I have to say I have very very mixed feelings about FDR. I admire what he overcame, physically, but I see that we are still paying today for all the social programs he put in place. I do realize it was a tough time, the depression, but, most people forget that depression ended because of WWII, not because of all the alphabet soup programs. There are historians that believe his massive government intervention into the economy prolonged the despression.
I agree FDR definitely had some downsides, including trying to pack the courts, creating intolerable unions, and yes even perhaps extending the depression longer. Amity Shlaes’s book The Forgotten Man goes into impeccable detail regarding FDR’s governing hand. I actually think Wes was the one who recommended the book to me a long time ago.
My parents lived through the Great Depression. It is difficult to relate to how difficult the situation was for so many people. Statistics do not do it justice.
I review FDR as a mixed bag with positive and negative domestically. I think he was very strong on preparing the US for war. He was right to avoid the isolationist morons. He was an inspiring wartime leader. That said, it was foolish and dangerous to believe Uncle Joe Stalin could be trusted.
