I forget when the opposing party began doing formal responses. I always though it was unnecessary and pointless. The only people who watch it are already opposed to the President. I said it regardless of which party holds the WH and which party gives the response.
That said, Sen. Britt did a fine job. I think her kitchen was a bad stage but I get the symbolism.
