Just noticed this trump bea demented outright in Mi. It is definitely in play given the lock downs by DimWhit; the economy; war fatigue; and the auto workers losing jobs to the Ccp-electrical cars coming from Mexico,
Last night in Michigan, here are the ballot totals by party:
GOP: 1,109,447
DEM: 762,254
Of course some 5 and a half million votes were counted in the 2020 general election in Michigan, but last night the Dems had a pathetic turnout to show support for their demented champion.
A Lubbock, Texas, federal judge ruled Tuesday that lawmakers unconstitutionally passed the $1.7 trillion government funding bill in 2022 when they did so under a pandemic-era rule allowing members of the U.S. House of Representatives to vote on the matter by proxy instead of in person.
jason, my point is if the party loves their incumbent president, they show up to support him. Biden got 2,804,040 votes in Michigan’s 2020 general election. Last night he got only 618,006 in the 2024 primary. Only 22% of his 2020 vote total. Trump got 28% of his 2020 MI vote total, and that’s with Haley siphoning off nearly 300,000 votes last night.
They interviews some Detroit Muslims who said that they now have to work 2 jobs to buy things and Dementrd sucks Also uaw jobs are gone thanks to the ccp use of Mexico
jason, my point is if the party loves their incumbent president, they show up to support him.”
I don’t agree with that point. The vast majority of people don’t vote if its not a contested primary.
You could actually make the opposite point here. 618,000 Dems showed up to vote for Biden in an uncontested primary.
In my view, the difference in turnout numbers is completely meaningless. The only thing meaningful would be if 15% of Dems actually refrained from supporting Biden in November.
Over 100,000 Dems showed up to vote uncommitted instead of Biden. It remains to be seen if they return in November to vote for or against Biden, or if they will stay home and allow thieves to cast their ballots on their behalf.
“Former Republican Florida Gov. Jeb Bush came to the defense of former President Trump in a Wall Street Journal op-ed slamming the recent New York civil fraud court case that ordered the 45th president to pay a $354.8 million fine plus interest.
“Every American has a right to be critical of Mr. Trump’s politics—one of us ran against him in 2016,” reads Bush’s op-ed, titled, “Elon Musk and Donald Trump Cases Imperil the Rule of Law.”
“…But equality before the law is precious, and these rulings represent a crisis not only for the soundness of our courts, but for the business environment that has allowed the U.S. to prosper,” the opinion piece continued. “If these rulings stand, the damage could cascade through the economy, creating fear of arbitrary enforcement against entrepreneurs who seek public office or raise their voices as citizens in a way that politicians dislike.”
Trump has been a Republican for the last 12 years. His first term policies reflected mostly common sense, conservative stances. His base, those who support him, are mainly working and middle classes, not the sublime elite and Wall Street types. His lead, so far, is more substantial than it was in his other presidential runs. He is also having to finance his lawfare persecution and his campaign out of funds from primarily small donors, with a far more organized team behind him, and is still making it work as the presumed Republican nominee.
Nikki Haley has been tagged a life-long conservative Republican by most….until now. Although, she continues to run on the R label she has aligned her dependency on funding and opposition votes, having a deceptive purpose to take Trump out, with rich or activist Dems and establishment anti-Trump leagues of republicans. IMO, such anti-Republican behavior, attached to present-day actions, is far more relevant than dredging up affiliations/donations made over a decade ago. She also remains in the race not to serve the election of a Republican POTUS, but to keep the money rolling in for her own enrichment, with the possibility of ambitiously using it for some purpose or campaign in the future.
I like La Dem Nikita. Nicki panders to racial groups. like a woke democrat.”
She panders to just about anybody.
Doesn’t make her a Democrat, I would stack her Republican and conservative credentials against Trump’s any day of the week and she would always come up way ahead.
Using Tina’s list, “The Cryer,”. Adam Schiff is running as a carpetbagger for Diane Feinstein’s seat in CA. So far he’s in first place with Dodger icon Steve Garvey in second. Schiff’s ads are trying to snuff Garvey out by saying he voted for a Trump twice and is therefore an acolyte and will destroy CA with Trump-like policies —- like it isn’t already down the tubes under Newson!
iJason you continue to scream into the wind, quoting old outdated news. I suppose you also hold grudges against people for “sins” that have been rectified, but that you simply like not to forget.
If Trump was blatantly replicating the actions of the new latest Nikki version, I would never even consider voting for him. Who he donated to in his former life as a dem doesn’t bother me today, as long as he doesn’t continue doing so when running for president from 2016 to the present.
Jan – I will always hold Trump’s past positions and donations against him. I do not believe in redemption. He will still get my vote but only because his Democrat opponent is worse.
Common political sense also indicates that Schiff is very much trying to help Steve Garvey earn a spot in the runoff and that Schiff wants Republicans to turn out next week to vote for Garvey, so that Schiff can run against him in November instead of another Democrat.
Isn’t that a “purity standard”? Any deviation from what you want in a candidate can never be forgotten or forgiven. I guess this means Bitter supports the BLM pandering by Haley; otherwise he couldn’t support her.
“I will always hold Trump’s past positions and donations against him.”
Why then don’t you hold Haley accountable for being propped up and funded by some of the top democrats just to scramble the Republican primary? If she was a real contender – winning a primary – then it would be more understandable. However, she is losing badly everywhere she goes, with dem support being her primary fuel for going forward opposing Trump.
Because your Braveheart was a top Democrat who funded hard leftists for decades. Your anger at Haley is laughable when you give Trump a free pass for decades.
I have repeatedly said that I support Haley because she understands that defending Ukraine is in the strategic interests of the US. Trump is a moron on the issue. I also love that she does not kiss Trump’s ring.
Chicon – I view your condemnation of me as a compliment. You only go after me. Fine.
I don’t forgive or forget. I’m Irish. If we say we forgive, we don’t. We just file it away to bring it up again days, years or decades later. But I also live in the real world where I am forced to vote for the Republican over the Democrat because the Democrat is always worse.
Haley has many flaws as a politician. Yes, she does tend to pander to whomever she thinks she is supposed to pander to. We all know she is not going to win the nomination the traditional way, and thus, probably will not at all.
However on the issues that matter to actual conservatives, economic, foreign policy/national defense, and social, she is far better than Trump and has a far greater record of policy and political success than Trump, a proven political loser, has. This is besides the point that she clearly would be the stronger candidate against Biden both in terms of the Presidential election and for other Republicans running for other races.
Seems I have been beat by others on the Mcconnel news.
BTW Tina’s list of names…we should have a vote for the all time favorite.
Anon – your analysis of Haley is actually spot on. But, she will not be the nominee, even if something were to happen to Trump. Let’s say he fell ill, or was forced off the ballot. I have to think DeSantis would be the one to get the nod.
So…who takes over as Senate leader next year. The R’s have a very good chance of winning the senate back.
I know a Ron Paul fan who emptied out his investment portfolio years ago and went 100% into gold. He is still working way up into his late 60s. He has to.
Bitcoin is going to break so many people. Bunu, while jerking off to pics of gold bars and Ron Paul, thinks its going to be the reserve currency. LMAO. No nation is going to allow bitcoin to challenge its reserve status. They will destroy it before then.
It’s so funny that Pauliacs rage about “fiat currency” (BTW – that’s just code for jjjeeeewwww) because it has no intrinsic value, yet salivate over bitcoin, which has even less intrinsic value.
To quote many here, “you can’t make this stuff up”
I still hope we can get a janzam definition for what a “carpetbagger” is and how it might possibly apply to Adam Schiff, who has lived in California since he was 12.
I would think Thune from that group. Cornyn is going to have a rough primary battle next go around here in Texas. Not sure he survives it, so that will hamper him become Senate leader.

It’s so funny that Pauliacs rage about “fiat currency” (BTW – that’s just code for jjjeeeewwww) because it has no intrinsic value, yet salivate over bitcoin, which has even less intrinsic value.
To quote many here, “you can’t make this stuff up”
