Donald Trump, as President of the United States, called Georgia’s Secretary of State and pressured him to find 11,780 votes. It’s on tape. Trump said it. He’s been indicted for it. He will be put on trial for it. He should be convicted for it.

My earliest memory of political debate was on a school bus arguing Jimmy Carter would be a mistake, we would be better off sticking with Ford. That was a long time ago. Florida was worth 17 EVs, Pennsylvania was worth 27, and New York 41.

I remember wondering why gorillas were armed with guns in the jungle of Vietnam. I did not know what Vietnam was (but it had jungles) or that they were really guerrillas.

So far in 2024 there have been 51 national matchup polls, Trump vs. Biden.
Trump has led in 41 of these 51
There have been 5 ties
Biden has led in 5 of these 51.
4 of the 5 where Biden led it was by 1 point. The outlier with a substantial Biden lead was our old favorite Dem rescue pollster, Quinnipiac.
Of course the only poll that matters is the one that is on election day, but at this point 41 out of 51 is strong enough to say Trump clearly has the edge, as of now.

This call was made with legal counsel and others on the line. If Trump wanted to ask Ratburger to do anything illegal he wouldn’t do it with all those witnesses.
Nothing illegal about the call, the election was very close and Trump wanted LEGAL votes to be counted.
