I still don’t get how demented got a free pass on the document case. He took them when he was vp. A vp cannot have them; a president (under the pra) can. Every president has done so.
Demented legal team argued that he was entitled to them under the pra (even though he was veep and it’s not applicable).
They found more classified documents (or marked classified) than with president trump.
I still,believe they were after the Russian hoax documents. However, trump was allowed to keep them.

So Jeff…How does she do on the national stage. She’s ultra liberal. Abortion will be her main campaign message. Does she sell outside of Michigan and wisconsin? Does she even need to. Locking down those two means she can lose GA, AZ, and then, once again it all comes down to NV and NE-2.
I think she loses AZ and GA easily, and potentially NV. So the election could honestly come down to NE-2. Dems win its 270-268. Trump wins its 269-269 and the house elects him.

It’s hard for me to even think of what possibilities lie ahead for November outcomes until the January 6th trial is adjudicated.
That being said…Whitmer is ultra liberal but it didn’t matter in Michigan in her re election even after how she handled Covid. I think any “reasonable” option other than Trump or Biden would be appealing to independent voters. Also, the RNC is not in a position to match the DNC ballot harvesting operation as of yet and that is a huge disadvantage. Finally, the RNC and Trump campaign are at a disadvantage financially. Ronna has ran the RNC into the ground and Trump has legal bills his PAC is paying…76 million thus far.
It’s going to be a crazy year.

I was too busy to listen to the Putin interview yesterday, but will do so today. However, the transcripts have also been released, and I did browse through some of the questions. It was interesting, and an interview most (not bitter or Jason from here) will find revealing. Also, I think Tucker has become a master journalist in tackling interviews that are controversial but newsworthy, instead of becoming an ostrich and thinking you know everything there is to know about an issue.

Here is the deal.
On the R side there is a huge contingent that believes Trump could do no wrong no matter what he says, how many times he is indicted/convicted, etc.
So why would the D side be different. There is a huge contingent that will support Biden even if he thinks he talks to dead people, says his son died in combat, and cannot find his way off a podium.
Looking at Morning Joe and all the other MSM talking heads defending Biden and attacking the SC as “partisan” makes me think Biden has enough support and is not going anywhere. This is aided by the fact there is no clear alternative that is manifestly better, certainly not Kamala, Whitmer, Newsome, etc.
I think those saying it is over Biden is going to be replaced might be wrong.

A history lesson for Jan. Gen. McClellan was very popular with his troops because he was so cautious that there was less chance of being killed. The one time he was somewhat bold was at Antietam (a slaughter-fest win by the Union). But he failed to follow through when he could have destroyed Lee’s army so the war continued for almost 3 more years. Gen. Grant was also called a butcher but he was willing to fight and win. Union prisoners in Andersonville prison (really a Confederate concentration camp) were given “ballots” by their captors in 1864 because they expected to get a PR victory when the prisoners voted for McClellan. The Union POWs voted overwhelmingly for Lincoln because he was fighting to win and McClellan was a p*ssy willing to let the South win.

Zelensky is the legitimate President of Ukraine and he has the right to appoint the military leaders responsible for opposing the Russian invasion.
Personally, I think appointing someone more aggressive is appropriate because the general he replaced was more defensive than offensive. If the goal is to expel the Russians from Ukraine, and that SHOULD be the goal, then you want someone committed to doing that.
If you are worried about the “death toll”, have you ever suggested Russia pull out of Ukraine? After all, that would end the “death toll”.
