All this Putin love is sickening. It’s what helped enable Putin invade Crimea & Ukraine to begin with. Obama and Cameron tried to kiss up to Putin. Trump did it too. Putin played them. Watch the BBC a documentary Putin and The West. Ukrainians voted for EU inclusion and Merkel helped undermine it.
The NATO countries haven’t delivered the necessary modern weaponry, air support and the Ukrainians are running out of able bodied men. Pissing away another 60 billion is a waste. Chase Bank and Blackrock have already made deals to rebuild the country. The UK & EU had a chance to include Ukraine in the European community and NATO for several years and have been intimidated. Putin doesn’t care how many Russians or Ukrainians die and how much destruction there is to achieve one of his goals by keeping Ukraine out of NATO.
