I assume it could not be the Golden Calf as they are both from FL.
Not my personal preference, or who I would think would accept but who I think would give Trump the best chance to win
No I don’t think Noem would be a good pick, she doesn’t bring much to the table and she would get the Sarah Palin treatment. Same with Elise Stefanik.

I still need to figure out how to link to the polls and I would like to make the above chart part of the main page. I want to dress it up in a table, use color, flip it to horizontal, and advertise it as the only polling aggregator on the web that includes ALL of the last seven polls, and weights them by age. 538 refuses to include Baris’ polls because he hates his guts, and RCP is very restrictive on what they include.

“Intelligence estimates shared with the U.S. conclude that around 1,200 of Unrwa’s roughly 12,000 employees in Gaza have links to Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and about half have close relatives who belong to the Islamist militant groups. Both groups have been designated as terrorist organizations by the U.S. and others. Hamas has run Gaza since a 2007 coup.
“Unrwa’s problem is not just ‘a few bad apples’ involved in the October 7 massacre,” said a senior Israeli government official. “The institution as a whole is a haven for Hamas’ radical ideology.”

Morning Consult/Bloomberg also has numbers with all the misfits included:
Arizona (Trump +8)
Trump 43, Biden 35, Kennedy 10, West 1, Stein 1
Georgia (Trump +7)
Trump 44, Biden 37, Kennedy 8, West 1, Stein 1
Michigan (Trump +6)
Trump 43, Biden 37, Kennedy 8, West 1, Stein 1
Nevada (Trump +12)
Trump 43, Biden 31, Kennedy 12, Stein 2, West 1
North Carolina (Trump +13)
Trump 45, Biden 32, Kennedy 9, West 1, Stein 1
Pennsylvania (Trump +3)
Trump 43, Biden 40, Kennedy 7, Stein 1, West 1
Wisconsin (Trump +8)
Trump 43, Biden 35, Kennedy 10, Stein 2, West 0
Some of these numbers are stunning, but I am still focused only on the Trump vs Biden only because in the end, how many of these are going to show up to vote for these others. Stein in Wisconsin is real–unless these voters sense that the election hangs in the balance.

Of course, there is no such thing as an “assault rifle”. In the military, an “assault weapon” is a fully automatic rifle. An AR-15 is merely a semi-automatic rifle, fires one round each time the trigger is squeezed. “Assault” sounds scary and sounds “military” so that is why the gun grabbers use it.

Yes, the Dems will allege Scott is not really black because he is a Republican but that will only work on people not voting for Trump anyway.
I imagine Scott will improve Trump’s black male vote only marginally, but marginally could make the difference in a close race.
Also, Scott will destroy Kamala in a debate.

Of course all of this polling is only a theoretical matchup. We have to wait to see the Dem convention to find out who walks out from behind Door #1 to take all of Biden’s delegates as his replacement. I am more convinced than ever that they will replace him. I have been following politics since 1979, and I have never once seen the Dems just throw away a POTUS contest. And now that they have lawfare and election fraudfare on their side, they will stop at nothing.
But just imagine if they let Biden go through to the general election and he stands there in a debate against Trump.
Moderator: Question for President Biden, could you remind us just how terrible the economy was during the Trump presidency?
Biden: Its, its, uhm…sst..z..uh..st…terrible. Look at the job numbers, and and uh, inflation out of control. The, the last four years have been a nightmare under, under this sitting president–but elect me and fixed it. Thanks for the Great Lakes, and brewed beer here.

I think the MSM will successfully portray Noem as a lightweight governor from a small state like they did with Palin. The MSM will arrange gotcha interviews with her asking questions they would never ask a Dem in order to embarrass her like the Couric interview with Palin. I just don’t see her bringing much to the table, although I do think she is an accomplished successful governor and attractive to boot.
The same with Huckabee Sanders, she is from Arkansas, has not finished a full term, little appeal beyond the MAGA vote. As a former press secretary, she would be harder to embarrass in an interview, but she just doesn’t add to the ticket.
Trump needs a heavyweight. Scott, Haley (even if I wouldn’t support the ticket), Abbott, Youngkin. A “novelty” candidate will wear thin very quickly.

Biden’s replacement would no doubt pick a new veep. Kamala is a huge drain on the ticket. Shapiro is certainly possible, but Dems love candidates whose life is DC and whose god is the federal government. A state governor is too chancy for them, unless its some whack job like Newsome who is to the left of the DC culture. Thinking back, Bill Clinton is the last time the Dems picked a candidate from outside the beltway. But its easy to forget that Clinton was a compromise candidate. He concluded by saying “I think it’s also important for all of us as Pennsylvanians, once our loved ones are home, to not lose sight of what’s happening in the region. We need to gird ourselves for what appears to be going to be a long war and we need to remain on the side of Israel. We need to stand with Israel. We need to stand up against this type of terror. Noem is a lightweight from a small state. The fact she “didn’t lock down” or “is a good governor” won’t get Trump any additional votes. In addition, she will likely self destruct under the onslaught of negative MSM attacks I doubt she is prepared for, like Palin wasn’t.

For VP, I’ll throw in the names of Ron Johnson (helps with Wisconsin), Mark Robinson (strong speaker), Ben Carson (well liked, good fund raiser, good friend of DJT), Kristi Noem ( poised, gutsy, female Trump advocate)
Zelenskyy tried to fire his popular Commander in Chief, Valery Zoluzhby, who said “No.”. After a lot of push back Zelenskyy rescinded his order. Apparently there was no consultation between the president and his two greatest allies, the UK and US, about the Zoluzhby firing. As more is being uncovered most of the Ukrainian funding is going to military contractors and inside corruption, not the people. And yet Biden is still pushing sending more money (we don’t have) overseas rather than helping our own invasion over here.

Vic,
Who will Trump pick as VP candidate?
First off, I AM eligible to be his pick, but I am not campaigning for it. Although I feel certain I can bring with me WV’s 4 elector college votes.
I do hear I am on his list, several notches down from Chris Christie.
***************************************************************************
But my age would be a factor since I am 76 now in this iteration of life, but healthier than either Biden or Trump. Also an issue would be the fact that I converse with an invisible cow.
Since I am opposed to Trump bring the R standard bearer, I doubt he would pick me since I will not kiss his ring and recant my opposition to a Trump presidency.
With that said Who will Trump pick?
Who he will NOT pick is:
–NOT pick anyone who ran against him in the R primaries regardless of how qualified and how it would help the ticket.
–NOT pick anyone who spoke against him or supported one of his opponents in the primaries, regardless of how qualified and how it would enhance the ticket
–NOT pick anyone who is principled and who would refuse to give 100% unqualified support to Trump and all the bozo things he says and does
–NOT pick JFK JR. or any other third party goofball.
–NOT any sitting R senator.
–NOT most R sittiing governors like governors of FL, GA, NH,
(with possible EXCEPTION of Sarah Huckabee Sanders)
******************************************************************
Which greatly limits the pool of who he WILL choose?
AND JUST AS IMPORTANT, WHO WOULD BE WILLLLLLLL-ING TO BE TRUMP’S VP–THE ONLY ADVANTAGE BEING AT LEAST TRUMP CANNOT FIRE you as THE VP)
Noem?
Some former general?
Sarah Huckabee Sanders?
The NY congresswoman?
Strong possibilities of person chosen being a woman or a Black.
Perhaps Trump will pick Snoop Dogg. FASHIZZLE!
The number of “A” level VP choices (due to Trumps restrictions cited above) who has a good track record of accomplishments as an elected official, would expand the ECV map, is good at speaking and debating, high likeable numbers, ready to be President at the first stroke…is starkly limited.

I think that Trump should pick either Jan or Tina as VP. Both satisfy the MAGA base AND neither would pick up any Independent or Democrat votes.

Ok. I probably won’t post as many threads since the ungrateful bastards just want their polling fix in the mornings.

Oh, and lest I forget….
Psychologists for DECADES have told us that under behavior modification, you HAVE to rather immediately apply the PUNISHMENT OR REWARD very soon after the action in order for the organism you are trying to act or not act in a certain way.
SO WHEN IS BIDEN PLANNING TO UNLEASH A BIG CAN OF WHOOP ASS ON THE IRAN SUPPORTED WHACKADOODLES (OR IRAN ITSELF) OVER THE ATTACK THAT KILLED 3 U.S. SESRVICEMEN IN JORDAN AND INJURED 30 SOME OTHERS?
“At a time and place of our choosing…” doesn’t cut it. How many attacks by the whackjobs –160-170?–and very little U.S. response from the U.S., and limited at that.
Maybe we will have NO response, now that that particular group of Iran backed whackjos say they will do no more attacks.
God help us.

I would like to see a debate between Kamala Harris and Walt. I would love to hear Walt say:
Vice President Harris, I knew Julius Caesar, Charlemagne, King George III, Washington, Napoleon, Lincoln….”
Moderator – Mr. Walt, is there a point to this answer?
Walt – No. I just wanted her to know I met a lot of leaders and she is not a leader. Thank you.

Just to illustrate how far out the Quinnipiac poll is, a new one just dropped from Civiqs (D) / Daily Kos.

Younkin as Trump’s VP would be the Democrat’s worst nightmare. Would help Trump immensely in suburban areas. Republicans should be happy with that choice……that is, if they actually want Trump to win a GE. Of course, if they want to see four more years of Biden then, sure, select some Trump purist like Flynn or some other similar choice. Send a message and enjoy four more years of Biden.
BTW, Youngkin is no Nikki Haley. He’s a solid conservative who has not once pandered in a blue state…..but hell, selecting Youngkin would make too much sense for the party of stupid.

It seems a video show that in NYC a bunch of illegal immigrants…(err, excuse me “asylum seekers” as reported by David Muir) beat the crap out of two NYC police officers.
Of course, the 5 people arrested will face little if any consequences.
“If any are under 18 years old you can’t just deport them and separate them from the rest of their families. That is inhumane! they have rights!”
BULL SH!T.
There a$$es would be shipped out in an hour, and put on the forever bad list if I were running things.
Play stupid games, face consequences.

Why do the people here, including Jan and tina, who have posted links numerous times that Nikki Haley is ineligible to be President or Vice President because of where her parents were born now think that Ramaswamy is eligible to be Vice President?

Ramaswamy will never be vice president candidate.
Too long a name to put on bumper stickers.
Mayre “Trump and the darker skinned guy!” bumper sticker?
Though his campaign theme song could be:
“Oh my Ramaswamy, Ramaswamy
How I love ya, how I love ya my dear ol’ Ramaswamy
I’d walk a million miles
for one of your smiles
my Ram-a-swam-y !”

For the posters opposed to “globalism” exactly what do you mean? I get that you hate the UN and WHO but in case you missed it, the US has economic ties to most of the world and military alliances across the globe. You can’t uninvent the phone, internet, planes or ships.

I think it’s the globohomo agenda. The goal is to make everything the same as the wokeness that is being pushed with the the U.S.A.
They want to export it all over the world turning everything in San Francisco. A good portion of the Ukraine war was is about this agenda.

No. 100% of the war was solely brought about by Putin’s brutal and unjustified invasion of Ukraine.
