Trump was a good President. I expect that he will lose. Both can be true.
I think he should talk about what he did right as President and what Biden is doing wrong (pretty much everything except supporting Ukraine). Talking about politically motivated trials takes away his focus. People who think the trials are BS are already voting for him. People who think they are legitimate are not going to vote for him. I doubt there are many voters undecided about the trials at this point.
Unlike Jan, I don’t need a Democrat Billionaire to fight for me. I just need Biden to lose.

This is why you don’t actually own your real estate. You have to pay renters tax (property tax) in it each year or they kick you out of your house even though you already bought it.
You paid greater than 50% taxes on then income (once you factor in employee contribution, SS, income, medicare, etc etc) that you used to buy the house but it’s not enough! You need to pay renters tax each year once you “own” it.
Now we have lunatic Obama-Biden judges that will rule against you if you aren’t woke enough or if you’re a republican. In Trump’s case 87 million!
This vs bitcoin that is something you can actually own and the judge can’t order you to hand over and there is no renter taxes on it. It’s a pristine asset that evades all capital controls.

Why should this be either or? This sounds remarkably like “we shouldn’t talk about the stolen election”.
Politically motivated trials are a stain on the country and Trump should absolutely talk about, as should EVERY Republican running for office.
It doesn’t matter if there are people who think the trials are “legitimate””, it doesn’t make it so.
Bitter wants to sit on the fence as usual, but Trump needs to fight back on the fake trials as well as contrast his administration with Biden’s.

Bitcoin is a scam. It has ZERO intrinsic value. Nada, nothing, zilch.
There is no “renter’s tax”. Property taxes pay for the infrastructure that allows your access to your house (roads), utilities and other things that if they weren’t there would make your house worthless.
You can argue about whether your taxes are well spent or not. But calling property taxes a “renter’s tax” is stupid.

There are places in the country where you can move to, where the property tax is $300 a year, but all you get is a dirt road past your house that they re-level once every couple of years. I agree that in many places the property tax is insanely too high and being misused, but I guess it must come as a shock to bunu that streets, curbs, gutters, streetlights, garbage collection, police, fire, and a host of other things don’t just magically appear and magically get paid for.

I never said I am a great lawyer. I said the trials against Trump are politically motivated BS. Both can be true.
If 50% Trump voter Jason thinks that Trump should only talk about stolen elections and his trials instead of saying why he was and will be a better President than Biden, go for it. Maybe an 80/20 mix of his accomplishments and criticism of Biden with 20% stolen elections/trial talk would help him reach voters other than Jan.

it’s one of those rare moments where I agree with Jason.
I think Trump is a focal point for the Dems to politically eliminate who they feel is viable opposition to their agenda. If you don’t highlight the progressive’s slimy intentions, as well as the means they are implementing to guarantee them an uneven, unfair playing field, free and fair elections will be a thing of the past.

There are many people who aren’t necessarily Trump followers. However, what attracts them to his candidacy is agreeing with his first term policies, and admiring the current ferocity in which he is confronting his 2024 adversaries and lawfare tactics. This premise has been demonstrated in the first two states where there were many first-timers who came out to caucus and vote for Trump.
