Funny how ‘conservatives” who preach “personal responsibility” are AWOL when it comes to personal responsibility by those who trespassed, attacked police officers and destroyed public property on Jan 6.
Jason – GFY. Those people were rounded up at gunpoint, forced to go to DC, forced to spend nights in hotels, forced to spend hours protesting, forced to go inside the Capitol, and forced to destroy things. Well, at least JanTina land. In the real world, they chose to do those things.

I second the motion. I too am glad GF is back because this site is a heavy burden for only 2 A-holes.
wes would hate being associated with the A-holes so it is fitting for him to be a Posthumous A-hole. Being an A-hole is not all about smelling the roses and strolling through the park so not wanting to be an A-hole is actually a favorable factor as viewed by the A-hole Membership Committee.
“Jason – GFY. Those people were rounded up at gunpoint, forced to go to DC, forced to spend nights in hotels, forced to spend hours protesting, forced to go inside the Capitol, and forced to destroy things.”
Not only that. They were “invited” and “encouraged” to engage in criminal activity, which under a novel interpretation absolves you of all crimes.
This theory should be tested by having a security guard at a bank at the door yelling “come on in, steal all the money”. Under the new guidelines, nobody will be guilty of bank robbery, somebody told them is was ok to rob a bank.
“Your honor, Trump told me to go to the Capitol. A guy with a bullhorn told me to go in. A cop held the door open for me. I understood that meant it was ok to break into the Speaker of the House’s office and steal her computer.”
According to Janzam, “history” will “debunk” the fact this was a crime that should be prosecuted.
Those that trespassed on that day should be prosecuted. Some of the sentences are ridiculous, however. My problem is this “insurrection” label. It was a fricken riot. Attempt to override democracy blah blah blah is laughable…..but it you are Biden, what the hell else are you going to run on? I never heard of an insurrection where nobody was armed. This is crazy, but then I never have seen anything in my lifetime more anti democratic than barring your political opponent from the ballot. At least, not in this country – Iran, Russia, South America central America? Sure. This whole thing is insane.

tinahhr- do remember that in 2012 Ron Paul defeated Romney in the Iowa caucuses and took over 90 percent of its national delegates, replaced the GOP Iowa chairman, etc.
So ultimately this state is a bit of a grass roots competition rather than just a polling competition alone.
That being said I don’t think DeSantis has any actual supporters other than Never Trumpers but we’ll see.
Regardless of whatever patriotism and FBI presence and agitation there was… January 6th was a horrendous event for many reasons. In particular the death of Ashli Babbit.
I am sure thousands of MAGA supporters had pure motives and did not nothing wrong. However, hundreds of MAGA supporters were reckless in their behavior and to minimize that is just as bad as minimizing Fed agitation.
With the predictable and obvious presence of Feds that day I think people were stupid to be anywhere close to the Capital that day.
I do think Trump agitated the situation and was extremely slow in responding to the crisis he helped create. That morning he publicly put unrealistic expectations and unnecessary pressure on the Vice President. Trumps erratic behaviors are predictable and was used to helped this whole “insurrection” BS.
Trump may not have done anything illegal…however his recklessness created openings for the corrupt DOJ to use against him and his supporters.

If I was a J6 rioter–yes RIOTER–, who later got arrested, I would claim I was only trying to get inside the Capitol to be safe from the pipe bombs planted all over DC.
You trigger the fedsurrection by having so many governmental assets on site that the fib lost track of the number. Why were they not arresting folks before?
Why didn’t they accept tr national guard ahead of time and why did Piglosi advance so much leave to Capitol police?
You trigger frdsurrection by gassing protesters/demonstrators that we’re not doing anything.
The pipe bombs were planted, if the fedsurrectiom failed. You then they bomb threat and everyone clears out.
Trump immunity, the 1512 bogus charges, and the destruction of )6 evidence are all grounds for tossing this weak case. That is why Stoner is acting unhinged. That and probably needed more drugs from his supplier, who went out of town.

Why is it that I do not see all the Lefty Legal Eagles jumping up and down and cheering the fact that the SCOTUS is going to hear the Colorado 14th Amendment case?
Do they not have confidence that Laurence Tribe and Judge Luttig are correct, and authorized state officials can just make a decision on their own to strike candidates from the ballot based on YouTube videos and Cong. Comm. propaganda?
If Tribe/Luttig are correct, then today’s decision by the Court to take up the case should be GREAT NEWS!!!!
Their position will be validated and Trump will be removed for the ballots of any states where Democrat officials have the power under state law to do so.
I don’t get why they are not happy.

“Epstein’s “black book” is still hidden–the revelations of the past 24 hours are just what came out during one trial, and the government is still hiding the ball when it comes to more shocking revelations. Don’t be fooled; there is much more to be learned, although we may never see it.
It has been so long since the saga started that you may not remember one of the more shocking revelations–ABC News had the Epstein story, photos, interviews with multiple victims from whom we still haven’t heard, and the executives at the company quashed the story.”
We learned this from a leak–the reporter who researched the story went on a tear when she was off air but still being recorded, and Project Veritas got ahold of the tape.”

Wow, Fetterman says Harvard was ‘pinko” when he was there.
“As an alum of Harvard — look, I graduated 25 years ago, and of course it was always a little pinko,” Fetterman told Semafor this week “But now, I don’t recognize it.”
The Hamas crowd will hate this…Fetterman didn’t stop at calling Harvard “pinko”.
“He skewered the radicals, saying that it was Israel that was “a beacon of the kind of values, the American values and progressive ideals, that you want to see” in the area.
“In that region, it’s our strongest ally, and we have a very special kind of relationship. I don’t understand how anybody could vote against the Iron Dome, or want to harm Israeli businesses or the nation or anything. I’ll never understand that. Calling them ‘colonizers’— like, where does this come from? It must be TikTok or some kind of obscure classroom talk.”
He also ripped apart the calls for a ceasefire within the Democratic Party, pointing out how wrong that was, given the situation with Hamas.
“More and more of my colleagues are calling for it,” Fetterman said. “It’s so strange. Why aren’t you calling for Hamas to surrender? If Hamas surrendered, and turned over their guns, all the killing and all the misery would [stop].”
Nobody was coaxed, tricked, or compelled to go inside the Capitol. It is embarrassing to say they were because it makes them seem stupid. They knew what they were doing and chose to do it.
Fetterman is a liberal Democrat…..however, he’s at least turning out to be a sane one. The funny part is that the other Senator from Pa who has always been characterized as a “moderate” never strays from the Democratic plantation – on anything. Moderate my ass.

Exactly. Everything else is lame excuses and smoke and mirrors and red herrings.
Maybe Tina could have been convinced by a “government asset” to destroy public property.
I wouldn’t have. And 99.9% of the rioters knew what they were doing. The 0.1% who didn’t were morons.
Joe Rogan chats with Tony Hinchcliffe about Infowars host Owen Shroyer's J6 charges.
"Here's where he fucked up: should have joined the FBI first. If he joined the FBI, then did that, they'd be like, 'Good job, you got everybody to go in there!'" pic.twitter.com/h74Qi2bJET
tinahhr- do remember that in 2012 Ron Paul defeated Romney in the Iowa caucuses and took over 90 percent of its national delegates, replaced the GOP Iowa chairman, etc.”
Tina is not going to remember something that didn’t happen. Despite Bunu’s claim here that “Iowa was Paul country” Ron Paul came in a distant third, behind Romney and the eventual winner Rick Santorum. Ron Paul tried to buy the IA straw poll by paying people to be bused in, but even so lost to Michele Bachmann.
IA R Caucus
Santorum 24.56%
Romney 24.53%
Paul 21.43%
Later the Paulbots engineered a coup and filled the delegate nomination process illegally with Paulbots so instead of the 7 delegates Paul actually won he ended up with 22 delegates, completely absurd.
But “win” IA. No. Ron Paul lost 150 primaries and caucuses in a row, a record that will never be beaten.
I will correct you on not knowing anything about the timeline.
And your claim that nobody got anybody to go inside is false. There was a case heard y judge McFadden. He dropped those charges against the person as cops waved him jn. Whether you like it or not, it happened.
Ahead of Fauci being hauled before Congress next week, it's worth recalling this email which Fauci wrote a day before he went to the National Academies of Sciences and publicly declared the exact opposite. NIH censors spent years fighting tooth and nail to conceal this email. pic.twitter.com/sINHdWRR5W
He knew all along where te Ccp virus came from and how it originated. He lied about that, lied about masks, lied about the vax. Yet, nobody charges him?
The latest law suit, contracted by Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch, is suing the US government and Capitol Police for the wrongful death (murder) of an unarmed woman. Fitton’s legal team is exceptional in getting into all the crevices of corruption, criminal intentions, shinning a spot light on the truth and eventually winning their cases. In the process of examining the improper use of force by Michael Byrd, evidence will most certainly be uncovered through discovery, regarding the deviousness of the FBI in orchestrating the optics of not only this J6 permitted event, but months earlier the dress rehearsal for J6 —-> the MI Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping fiasco involving more FBI infiltrators/informants than indicted defendants. Not coincidentally Steven D’Antuono headed the Detroit FBI office at the time, and was then transferred to the DC office in 10/2020, just in time to be one of the lead agents for J6. He “suddenly” retired in 11/2022.
Another law suit that may also impact how J6 is viewed will be heard by the SC. It involves the possible unconstitutional use of 1512 C2 clause – the tampering with witnesses, victims, informants:- a legal device employed in the later overturned Enron case that Mueller wanted to use in his phony Russia, Russia investigation. If the court rules in favor of the J6 prisoner bringing this case forward it could affect hundreds of other maliciously overcharged convictions, becoming a massive DOJ scandal.
Fundamentally, what most people saw on the videos publicly shown by the legacy media, and the J6 select committee findings, is a superficial rendition of the many politicized entanglements J6 really involved. It’s like focusing one’s attention on an iceberg when the major portion of it lies unseen underneath the water’s surface. The unfortunate outcome anticipated by the progressive left, in setting up events like MI and J6, is to accelerate the their desire to transition this country to the WEF’s reset program. In order to do this they have to control who runs for president, taking out anyone who might get in the way of their agenda.
“Waved him in” means he chose to go in. That person had the ability to say, “Thank you for waving at me but I am not going to go inside. I am leaving now.”
I do think the officer who shot Ashli Babbitt should have been prosecuted, since she was unarmed and posed no threat to him or to anyone else at that moment. It was a gross misuse of force, there were already hundreds of protesters inside and she was just one more. Still, she put herself at risk by breaking a window and entering through it. Cops are being prosecuted all over the country who have more at stake to shoot a criminal than the officer in this case did. Had she been a left wing protester at another venue, you can bet the officer would have been prosecuted.
Ashli was unarmed. She had her hands up. The cop shot her killed her. Two cops behind that cop had their backs turned and were unarmed. They could have easily detained her. I hope her family gets a large gubment settlement.
” Still, she put herself at risk by breaking a window and entering.”
Ashli Babbitt did not break that window. She entered a window already broken. People, however, regurgitate the version the media, government, and certain politicians want them to see. It’s basically a severe case of “herd mentality,” that’s running wild over how J6 is interpreted and then played back by some posters here.
My wife is out shoveling snow, it is good exercise for her that is why I don’t get a snow blower. I would like to help but I have a bad back. My attempts to be helpful by pointing out some areas she missed have not been appreciated, some people just don’t like to be helped.
Biden’s only cards left have nothing to do with “good” policies or an admirable presidential record. His entire vote-for-me campaign will be aligned with abortion rights, thwarting domestic terrorism (Trump voters), and defending democracy (IOW, keeping anyone competing for the WH at bay).
I recall Jason that even you were against getting rid of Fauci during his face time on those televised COVID updates. In fact only Tina and myself dissed Fauci and were mocked for doing so, like what is happening today with the different takes on J6.
After shoveling the cars and sidewalk and driveway he is probably doing the shed roof before he moves on to the house roof. After that is done is will be time to start on the cars, driveway and sidewalk again.
Walt hasn’t been henpecked this much since that Dark Ages wife had him clean out the stables 3 times a day.
Once Trump made Fauci the “face of Covid’ so to speak, it was politically untenable at the time to fire him.
Also, let’s remember that at the time Fauci had no real power to implement anything (that changed with Biden) so if you want to complain about any of Fauci’s policies that were implemented, blame the people who actually implemented them: Trump and the governors.
Fauci was just another member of the task force. The stupidity of elevating him to “Covid spokesman” was Trump’s.
I just remember Tina writing “fire Fauci.” I never liked Fauci, because of his AIDS involvement, which was horrific. He is the equivalent of a Dr. Frankenstein!
2024 is looking up.
I have only had one list of chores to do so far. It only had two things on it. Easy peasy.
I have gotten verbal lists of things to do…But sometimes I actually do them before the missus can tell me or make a list for me to do. Like shoveling the snow today from the sidewalk and driveway and around bird feeder.

One person said the Biden admin has been terrible.
In response, someone typed:
We’ve seen 216 million jobs added in 2023″ by the Biden administration.
*******************************************************************************
OK, I am confused. in 2023 there were about 161.97 million people employed in the U.S. So I guess EVERY SINGLE JOB IN THE U.S. were created under the Biden admin PLUS another 50 some MILLION created that were not reported?
All unreported jobs because they are jobs in the government surveillance sector. Hired spies who watch all we do and report back to the FBI when we do something or say something they don’t approve.
We were promised snow and it’s raining. I am annoyed. If I wanted rain in the winter, I would move to the South.”

Again, she doesn’t seem to appreciate my consideration and thoughtful looking out for her.

Thanks retllaw. I’m kind of gullible in deciphering humor from serious comments. My dad used to have a lot of fun tricking me with his sideways jokes. He was definitely a lovable prankster.
Nikki “you must feel my pain” Haley claims to have changed her husband’s name.
“Nearly 12 years ago, now-Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley wrote about how she renamed her husband, which resurfaced amid the Republican primary.
“You may be wondering how ‘Bill’ became South Carolina First Gentleman Michael Haley,” Haley wrote in her book. “After we started dating, I looked at him one day and said, ‘What’s your name?’
… Uhh… you were already dating your husband when you decided to ask his name?
Continuing:
“‘You know it’s Bill,’ he said, puzzled.”
“‘You just don’t look like a Bill. What’s your whole name?’”
“‘William Michael.’”…
“From that point on, I started calling him Michael, and all my friends did the same. When he transferred to Clemson his sophomore year, my friends became his friends, and before we knew it, he was universally known as Michael. Everyone who knew him before I did knows him as Bill, and everyone who met him after I did knows him as Michael.”
So according to this, she was dating her future husband but didn’t know his name.
No wonder the author of the article, Streff, wrote:
“Tell me you’re weaving a yarn without telling me you’re totally full of it. This woman is the fakest con job since Liz Warren declared herself Native American for DEI points. She makes Lady Gaga’s plastic face look all-natural.”

I went back and read my last FB exchange with Wes. He said Trump incited the riot and wanted to be a dictator. He called me out for being willing to give him my vote against Biden. He would have voted for any Republican except Trump.
Trumps approach leading up to January 6th and the Capital chaos pretty much nullified any real serious discussion or action regarding the no chain of command mail in ballot abuses that cost Trump the election.
That problem still hasn’t been addressed as far as I can tell.
The Dems don’t want to discuss any chain of custody, mail in ballots, ballot harvesting, or signature verification etc., protocols because that’s their bread and button for winning. I don’t see, though, how Trump nullified these inquiries, although in most of his campaign speeches he talks about a commitment to a return to same day voting and paper ballots, which always receives an enthusiastic audience response.
Jan … Trumps approach to addressing issues is one of my biggest issues with him. He has a lot of common sense, is blunt and has good ideas most of the time…but he will eventually say something very stupid and undermine any potential building of consensus and or use of the bully pulpit to overcome any media reaction. What makes you cheer Trump…makes Independents frown.
I don’t really know. He needs to defeat Haley first anyway. He is getting squeezed which is why the donor class for infusion of cash for Haley was critical. They would rather have her or Trump lose than RDS…he is way too conservative for them.
As I have posted for almost a year…His only chance to beat Trump In delegates is for it to be head to head which could take several weeks. I am expecting and preparing for the worst outcome in 2024. Haley doesn’t have a chance on her best day to beat Trump IMO.
Open borders is krptonite for these two candidates. Nikita is open boarders fully. Rds is more likely than not, for open orders, if one looks at his house record,
Trump:
“Ron DeSanctimonious and Nikki Haley and all the rest of the pack will never do what it takes to secure the border,” Trump said. “They’ll never do what it takes to make our country great again. They’re never gonna do it. I know them all very well. They don’t have what it takes.”
Trump then addressed Haley’s globalist policies directly.
“Nikki Haley has been in the pocket of the open borders establishment donors her entire career and she’s a globalist,” Trump said. “You know, she likes the globe.”

The last governor that the establishment told everyone was the safe choice blew 10 trillion dollars in the middle east, two fake wars, war crimes and elected 60 Democrat senators.
Interesting to read Larry Schweikart’s remarks about RDS’s reactions if he loses Iowa. It follows what the RAV panel discussed. It was also said if DeSantis drops out it’s projected that 40% of his supporters will turn to Trump as their policies are very similar to each other.
You realize that most Presidents fall into those 2 categories, right? Trump was neither although he did pay for a lot of Dem Governors and Senators to get elected.
Just in: Kristina Karamo has been removed as the Michigan Republican Chairman with a 90% vote in favor of removing her. She ran the MI GOP into the ground financially and lost the last two cycles. MAGA is on life support in Michigan folks.
Bondo Barr appears to be changing his tune again. First, trump was “not entitled to the docs.” Then, he was entitled to the docs but he did “not hand them back fast enough.” And now this:
Yes the left went too far. They are now targeting those outside the Capitol. Folks did not enter and did not commit any violence.
With that said, Barr did too little. There were riots during the 2017 inauguration. Charges were dismissed outright and in some cases, the “poor protesters” got monetary settlements.

It has been so long since the saga started that you may not remember one of the more shocking revelations–ABC News had the Epstein story, photos, interviews with multiple victims from whom we still haven’t heard, and the executives at the company quashed the story.”

“In that region, it’s our strongest ally, and we have a very special kind of relationship. I don’t understand how anybody could vote against the Iron Dome, or want to harm Israeli businesses or the nation or anything. I’ll never understand that. He also ripped apart the calls for a ceasefire within the Democratic Party, pointing out how wrong that was, given the situation with Hamas.

Once Trump made Fauci the “face of Covid’ so to speak, it was politically untenable at the time to fire him.

Fauci was just another member of the task force. The stupidity of elevating him to “Covid spokesman” was Trump’s.

“Nikki Haley has been in the pocket of the open borders establishment donors her entire career and she’s a globalist,” Trump said. “You know, she likes the globe.”

DeSantis should be campaigning for Trump and and working on stopping Haley.
Instead he’s been trying to sow discord within the party along w trying to resurrect the NeverTrump movement.

Trump never fulfilled his promise on deportations. He caved. I don’t trust him.

Trump:
“Ron DeSanctimonious and Nikki Haley and all the rest of the pack will never do what it takes to secure the border,” Trump said.
This is rich considering he caved bigly on deportations and never used his authority to secure the border for good.

The best chance to change the direction of this country is to elect a truly successful proven conservative Red state Governor. I don’t care who.

Obama and Trump share another distinction in adding to the national debt. However Trump did it in half the time.
Donald Trump 2017 – 2021 $8.2 trillion
Barack Obama 2009 – 2017 $8.34 trillion

Biden is around 4.8 trillion with one year. Could end up 2 trillion less than Trump. 😔

The last governor that the establishment told everyone was the safe choice blew 10 trillion dollars in the middle east, two fake wars, war crimes and elected 60 Democrat senators.

If We had elected a Republican governor as incompetent as GWB in 2016 instead of Trump, he would have left the WH giving them 80 dem senators.

Trump was the best in our life time. I’m not old enough to really remember Reagan, but I know Ron Paul said he was terrible so he’s probably correct.
Also why in the world would anyone pick the CIA director as a VP.

Best Presidents of my lifetime:
Reagan – Gov
GHWB – Every job in government but Gov. and Senator.
GWB – Gov
Nixon- Every job but Gov and Senator. Was VP. Too bad he was paranoid and had Watergate
Ford- Not enough time to do anything bad.
Trump – Big time donor to Dems but saved us from Hillary.

When Quittens Blm friends broke through the White House and injured 50 secret service agents, nobody was charged.
Bondo is and was a disaster.

Bondo Barr in 5/2020, you cannot have mail in ballots, it’s a recipe for fraud. Drats then threaten him with impeachment,
Post election- mail in ballots are ok, we investigated and found no fraud.
2023- stand down order issued by Bondo. No investigation occurred (house of representatives investigation).
Never trust a Bushie.
