The ultimate goal is a Marxist society. And the way to achieve it, as Victrc points out, is a series of transitions with the gradual encroachment on civil liberties and free speech we see now and a gradual transition to a state run economy at the expense of the private sector.
When Bitter says the Dems don’t want to own your business or farm, just want to tax it, he is highly delusional. Tax it for what? Tax it to create bigger and bigger government until it is no longer viable and the state can take over that sector of the economy. The Dems don’t want to tax private health insurance, they want to end it.
Words have meaning? They certainly do. And today’s Dems, at least most of those in legislative and executive positions in government and the people they have appointed, are committed Marxists.

Bitter’s comment about “why do you need another gun” sounds like Joe Biden and the anti-2nd amendment gun grabbers and is typical of those who are completely ignorant about guns. Each type of gun has different uses (concealed carry, hunting, target practice, for example) and a whole range of different characteristics such as weight, caliber, ammunition, range, etc. That is why the “why do you need another gun” is an asinine comment.
However, I like Samurai swords if Bitter is thinking of a gift. A real one, of course, no fakes.

Find one post where I ever said I am superior to anybody because I don’t drink or own a gun. I don’t drink because my uncles, mother, sister, brother, nephew and dead niece are/were alcoholics. I don’t want to go down that path. I drank in college and gave it up in law school when I met my future wife. I never missed it. She drinks. I don’t. It does not make me superior.
I don’t own a gun because I have never wanted one. Considering I have told people to own as many guns as they want, I obviously do not feel superior to anybody over it.

What Was DeSantis’ Role With the SEALs?
DeSantis deployed to Iraq as legal counsel to a SEAL commander during the 2007 surge of US troops.
During DeSantis deployment to Iraq, DeSantis advised Capt. Dane Thorleifson, the SEAL commander for Special Operations Task Force-West in Fallujah, Iraq, on the legality of special operations missions in the region.
DeSantis’ time with the Special Operations Task Force-West came during the so-called Al Anbar Awakening. This period is remembered as one of the most violent phases of the war. US troops conducted near-nonstop operations against insurgents in Al Anbar, a province in western Iraq. After the fall of Baghdad, the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division occupied the territory.
DeSantis served in Iraq and the Arabian Peninsula from 2007 to 2008. DeSantis’ duties were special operations, special reconnaissance, intelligence and foreign internal defense operations.
As the only lawyer with the task force, DeSantis made sure detainees captured by SEALs during their missions were treated humanely. He also ensured that interrogations complied with the Geneva Conventions and US military law.
According to Thorleifson, the Green Berets and SEALs rounded up roughly 100 Iraqi men during DeSantis’ deployment. US troops captured the men to gain intelligence and to remove insurgents from the fight.
“I respected him a lot as a JAG. He was super smart, articulate, resourceful and a positive part of the staff,” Thorleifson told the Tampa Bay Times. “I relied on him heavily.”
At times, DeSantis also had to work hand in hand with the newly stood-up Iraqi judicial system, Thorleifson said. That meant DeSantis would sometimes hand detainees off to Iraqi officials for prosecution.
“He did a phenomenal job,” Thorleifson said. “It was a pretty complex time, with Iraqi sovereignty starting to take hold.”

My choice to not drink and probably become an alcoholic does not make me superior to anybody. Why do F’ing care if I drink or not? I never told you not to drink. Or buy as many guns as you want. Does the fact that I don’t drink given my family history and the fact that I have never wanted to own a gun come across as me feeling superior? Jason judges everybody and everything by his pronouncements. He has an all or nothing opinion on everything. Challenge him and he deflects and whines and complains. He has on overwhelming superiority complex and contempt for everybody.
As for this site, I thought more posters would join it. I did not do a good enough job. It has become a hive of conspiracy nonsense and pro-Putin talking points and Jason’s declarations of absolute certainty (until he changes them). But that is what posters want.
