Democrats are not Marxists or Communist. Words have meaning. Those terms are defined by ownership of the means of production by the government. Democrats don’t want to own your business or farm, etc. They know they would ruin it. They want you to own it and incur all the costs and risks while they tax and regulate it.

The Dems are Marxists and they will go in that direction as much as they can. And the communism they advocate is only “soft” because our current laws don’t allow “hard”, but that is changing.
Get a liberal majority SCOTUS and you can forget “soft”.
The idea that Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren, Gavin Newsome, Cory Booker, Gretchen Whitmer, etc are not doctrinaire Marxists is ridiculous. Is every Democratic voter a Marxist? Of course not. Is every Dem elected official in America a Marxist? No.
But the leadership and the majority of the caucus in both the house and senate and the majority of Dem Governors are doctrinaire Marxists. Bet on it. The MSM that supports them are probably 90% Marxists. The liberal intelligentsia that dominates academia is primarily composed of Marxists.

I find the “news” saying Trump may be considering Nikki Halley as VP implausible, and put out as another rumor to only discredit him. Tucker Carlson has openly endorsed Trump, but said he will campaign against him if Halley is chosen as his VP. Many other close political allies have made similar statements about Halley – she is poison to these people. Kevin McCarthy’s suggestion that DJT choose Halley may have fueled this speculation about Halley. However, I think it would be such a disappointing choice that it would diminish Trump’s voter base, including someone like myself.

Bitter – On this I may disagree with you. Even Marx understood that the road to communism was sequential, requiring a transition to each phase before reaching the final goal.
While Communism is the ultimate state/goal of Marxism, whereas the state controls the means of production, he understood that there would never be a direct transition from capitalism to straight communism.
I would also add that Marxism, and a term, is not defined as the state control of production, but as the process and political ideology associated with state control of all aspects of society, hence the term Marxist ideology.
I would venture to say that we are closer to a majority of the Dems having a Marxist ideology than we have ever been. I also agree that Marxist ideology is being thrust down our childrens throats in heaping portions. BLM, for instance, states it is a marxist organization, and many teachers are shoving BLM, LGBTQABCDEFG++++ ideology down our throats, which is all state ordered/supported. I, in fact, changed my youngest’s teacher last year because she had BLM/LGBTABC stuff openly in her classroom…OF FIRST GRADERS!!!!!! Grooming is a form, and based off of Marxism.

DeSantis Super PACs ‘Swap’ Ad Spending in Iowa, New Hampshire…NTD News
A political action committee aligned with Ron DeSantis is making a major push in Iowa ahead of the GOP caucuses and promises to spend in New Hampshire, too.
On Dec. 22, with the Jan. 15 Iowa Caucus and Jan. 23 New Hampshire primary fast approaching, reports circulated that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s main super PAC, Never Back Down Inc., was suffering another setback, canceling television advertising contracts in both states.
According to Federal Communications Commission disclosures, Never Back Down did cancel about $405,000 worth of advertising in the Boston television market and about $498,000 worth of ads in various Iowa markets between Dec. 21 and Dec. 22.
Another DeSantis-aligned super PAC, Fight Right Inc., picked up the slack, however.
All told, in December, the PAC booked about $3.5 million worth of television advertising in the Iowa television markets of Des Moines, Cedar Rapids and Waterloo, Davenport and Sioux City, according to federal records.
A super PAC can solicit or make unlimited contributions from individuals, corporations, labor unions, and other political committees, according to the regulatory agency.
The Tallahassee, Florida-based PAC began airing ads in late November and is currently scheduled to air through the end of December.
In emails sent to The Epoch Times, spokespersons of Never Back Down and Fight Right said the advertising shakeup is a matter of collaboration, not a sign that the DeSantis campaign is withdrawing from New Hampshire.
On Dec. 22, Fight Right spokesperson Taryn Fenske said that “it’s basically a swap” and Fight Right is “the air force to [Never Back Down’s] army.”
“They’re basically passing the buys to Fight Right to make,” she said.
Created on Nov. 16, Fight Right is dedicated to negative ad buys against former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley. When The Epoch Times last analyzed federal disclosures on Dec. 6, the PAC had already spent $1.2 million on air time in Iowa.
Starting Dec. 24, Ms. Fenske told The Epoch Times that Fight Right will spend more than $2.5 million ahead of the Iowa Caucus.

Our first child was born in Long Beach. Deukmejian was the Governor and Pete Wilson was a Senator…both GOP…times have changed.

Agree. I have not donated to any candidate since Romney is 2012 because my employers since then have prohibited political contributions. I have never voted for a Democrat. Despite those things, I am texted by Dems, Reps, and Left/Right interest groups. I just block the numbers now but they still find me.
