Trump has to be careful with his veep nominee. Made a mistake with Judas Pence. Pence got Flynn into trouble. How can a politician, like Pence, be so dumb not to realize (or expect) an incoming NSA head not to make phone calls to his counterparts, ie Pooty poots person?
Florida man faces DEATH PENALTY for sexually abusing a child on camera mol.im/a/12870043
I have spent over 30 years counseling adults who had been sexually abused, sex trafficked, and ritually abused as children, teenagers and young adults. The damage is lifelong and incalculable.
Not only is RDS is the only true conservative candidate…he is the only one I have any modicum of hope that he would keep the GOP in DC accountable and focused through his leadership as a President. He is the least likely to cave.
Which is why the establishment hates him ao much and Trump and Haley have spent over 30 million in negative campaign adds directed at him.
Seems like a doj/fib cover up of the Russian hoax. Additionally, a likely unconstitutional warrant (over broad) aka an illegal raid of Mal and Melanie’s wardrobe.
We reported that a complaint for Fulton County was filed that specifically called out 3125 duplicate ballot counts and 17,852 votes counted that do not have a corresponding ballot image. This complaint resulted in the creation of investigation SEB2023-25.
In addition, there are over 140,000 ballots that citizens have been prevented to audit due to the Secretary of State’s office. These ballots reportedly all looked the same and “like carbon copies” and were included in the election counting. They were identified during the recount also known as the Risk Limiting Audit (RLA) and they have been blocked for review in the courts since the 2020 election. Although the Georgia Supreme Court ruled a year ago that the citizens in the state can review these ballots, the Secretary of State and the courts are preventing this from happening.
JeffR, I find your posts are more like malicious gossip linking Haley with Trump as a VP possibility, than anything meaningfully said by him. Taking “I’ve always gotten along with Nikki” is a generalized, milquetoast appraisal of their prior relationship, and nothing more. In the meantime, his reference of her as “birdbrain” indicates there is little respect for her. However, being desperate to throw anything negative at the frontrunner this is your way of propping up RDS by tearing down his FL opponent.
Tina, GA is proving to be a fraudulent mess – lots of ballot questions, a governor that won’t call a special session to investigate said charges, and a SOS who is up to his earlobes in slimy tactics (including his own reelection in 2022). Then there is the outcome of Guiliani’s trial, which should put shivers down anyone’s back as to how one-sided it was conducted. kangaroo trials seem to be standard for Dems these days.
I thought Haley did an adequate job at the UN. She has evolved, however, into more of a big government, establishment creature over time. And, Trump didn’t seem to have any major issues with Haley during her UN appointment. Currently, she is not a good choice for either president or VP.
Take Tina’s and Janzam’s claims to be “conservatives” with a grain of salt.
They are enamored with an ex-KGB communist thug who is a bloodthirsty dictator guilty of countless war crimes and who heads a one party state with no dissent allowed. Hard to see how that fits in with “conservatism”.
And then we have their support for a guy who was a liberal NY Democrat for most of his life, was funding Chuck Schumer as late as 5 years before he ran for President, and who became a Republican only as a political convenience. A crony capitalist who is on record as saying deficits don’t matter you can always just print money and that Democrat economic policies are “better”. Even a principle challenged scumbag like Fat F–ck Christie can claim more conservative credentials than Trump.
If Tina and Janzam were actually conservative, they would be supporting the by far most conservative candidate which is the Golden Calf.
Support Trump if you wish, but puhhhhleeze don’t pretend he is a conservative.
She has evolved, however, into more of a big government, establishment creature over time”
Heh, this is from someone who supports Trump, who is big government and RINO extraordinaire.
Maybe you can come up with one instance where Trump as President reduced the size of government. No? Didn’t think so. Trump LOVES big government because he is a crony capitalist that relies on government for his projects. Crony capitalists never had anything against big government because they view big government as their partners.
I will vote for Trump if he is the nominee. But let’s put away the BS about him “draining the swamp” (BS, he has no intention of doing that) and being a conservative (he doesn’t have a conservative bone in his body).
I’ll also vote for Trump in a GE……..he was a good President but no, he did nothing to limit big government. He also was responsible for appointing losers like Milley and the current FBI director. Both were and are disasters.
” Support Trump if you wish, but puhhhhleeze don’t pretend he is a conservative.”
Trump describes himself as a “common sense” candidate more than using the conservative label. He thinks out of the box, is plain-spoken even brutal in his opinions and attacks, and has a record of accomplishments people would like to see again being promoted in the WH. I would also describe myself as “common sense,” which I find an appealing characteristic in anyone, let alone a politician. If Trump doesn’t become the R nominee, and RDS makes the cut, I would vote for him in the GE – even though I think DJT would fulfill the needs of this country better than anyone else.

I don’t read that. Sounds like she was told what to do and say at the Un and she did that job well. She “reported” to the sos who also did a good job. An outreach to n Korea, getting peace in the Middle East, preventing Ukraine from being invaded, and getting the nato deadbeats to pay were primary objectives
Plus it’s no difference when he said during the dog catchers debate – which candidate would make a good veep.
Personally if hee haw did not shirk his duties in 2020 and would have gone after the gang banger, he would have gotten my nod. Now wirh trump plus 6 in Georgia and hee haw looking incompetent, I am not sure if hee haw works
Why “negotiations” with Russia would be foolish and why the Russians cannot be trusted to abide by any agreement.
Ukraine has one choice: fight on.
“Following the full-scale invasion by Russia in February 2022, Ukraine has suffered tremendously. Tens of thousands have died, and a quarter of the country’s prewar population has been displaced. Homes, neighborhoods and entire cities have been reduced to rubble.
Some question the wisdom of Ukraine continuing to fight back instead of seeking to negotiate with Russia. President Vladimir Putin himself claims he “does not reject the idea of peace talks,” while prominent figures have called for negotiations, possibly involving a settlement to cede occupied territories in exchange for peace.
Calls for Ukraine to have such talks rely on an assumption that Russia would negotiate in good faith. But, looking to history as a guide, this assumption is naïve. Russia’s actions over the last 31 years reveal a troubling pattern of frequent lying and breaking international agreements. Negotiations with Russia are therefore futile.
Russia agreed to respect Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty and to refrain from the threat or use of force against Ukraine in both the Budapest Memorandum of 1994 and the Russian-Ukrainian Friendship Treaty of 1997. In an agreement partitioning the Black Sea Fleet after the fall of the Soviet Union, Russia agreed to pay Ukraine to lease a naval base in Sevastopol.
Seventeen years later, it illegally annexed that base and the rest of Crimea. In the Budapest Memorandum, Russia provided security assurances to Ukraine in exchange for Ukraine giving up its nuclear arsenal. Now, a nuclear power has launched a full-scale invasion of the state whose security it was supposed to protect.
Russia’s other neighbors have had similar experiences. Russia armed and fought on the side of separatists in both Georgia and Moldova.
In 1992, Russia signed two agreements ensuring the territorial integrity of Georgia and promising to avoid military involvement in its separatist conflicts. Yet in 2008, Russia invaded, falsely claiming that Georgia was committing genocide against South Ossetians to justify the war. In a cease-fire agreement brokered by the French president, Russia agreed to withdraw its troops from Georgia — but it never did. Fifteen years later, Russian troops continue to occupy 20% of Georgian territory.
Similarly, some 1,500 Russian soldiers are stationed in the Moldovan region of Transnistria, more than 20 years after Russia made two agreements to withdraw them.
Read more: With Ukraine aid in peril, Zelensky pleads his case on Capitol Hill and at the White House
Russia has an abysmal track record of keeping agreements made with the countries it has invaded, including ones brokered by outside mediators and security organizations.
Perhaps Russia would be more likely to respect a treaty brokered by a powerful country such as the United States? Unfortunately, history provides no evidence for this assumption, either. Russia has broken every nuclear treaty it has signed with the U.S.”
I like to be fair minded. I despise Romney but if you say he is a vulture capitalist or that he “invented Obamacare” I will defend him, just like I defend McCain from charges he was some kind of closet leftist.
So I while I wouldn’t vote for her for dog catcher I am not going to call Nikki “you must feel my pain” Haley a liberal. My problem with her is not her ideology, it is her propensity for terminal pandering.
Put her record as a conservative against Trump’s any day of the week and she will come out ahead.
I listened in to the Durham NH Trump rally, and it was a packed and pumped event, with the crowd standing on their feet most of the time, and roaring their approval throughout the event. One of the commentators observed it’s not what Trump says, but rather what he inspires in others – hope and happiness – that’s what seems to be generated, big time, at his rallies.
Responding to criticisms that Trump didn’t drain the swamp or reduce the size of government as expected, his term was one of progress not perfection. With all the distractions, pot holes and collusions of establishment republicans and democrats, working 24/7 against him, it was almost miraculous he was able to get anything done. BTW, Durham is a blue democrat area, so he is heading into the opposition storm rather than fleeing to safe ground.
Lastly, the latest GOP Primary Poll has the following numbers:
Jan… I am not in some sort of competition with you or Trump. RDS is far and away the best candidate and leader for the GOP it’s not even a debate.
“Always got along with Nikki” in Trump terminology means he would be open to it. Hence the non denial.
I don’t give RDS much chance of winning in 2024 against the establishment. It would be one of greatest missed opportunities for the conservative wing of the GOP in a primary in my lifetime.
JeffP, I’m not calling you names or saying you’re in a cult because of your loyal support for DeSantis. What I am observing is the unchanging poll numbers, married to the unbridled enthusiasm of the movement behind Trump, giving me info to post positively on the Trump campaign. My comments, however, seem to invoke remarks from you implying Trump supporters are “less than” RDS supporters in their critical and independent thinking. That’s just a little condescending, don’t you think?
I do agree that RDS has a diminishing chance of winning the primary, but it’s not for a lack of “establishment” support. He had a major portion of big donors at the beginning of his campaign – literally bathing in their money. It was the mismanagement of this money, the dismal launching of his campaign, coupled with what many have described as a lackluster personality, and a hovering wife, who seemed more into becoming FLOTUS than RDS wanted the position of POTUS, that caused the deterioration of his primary campaign.
If RDS is really such a great man/candidate, as you say he is, he will be back as an even better candidate next time around.
Jan you are obviously not a constitutional conservative or have any appreciation for what an effective conservative Governor RDS has been. The points you make are not worth arguing over for the most part. The hypocrisy over how the MAGA crew flipped on RDS at Trumps whim is one of the most disgusting things I have seen in politics in the GOP. Bannon and Posobiec, other MAGA raved about his impact on the culture wars, Liberty and they reported daily on the Covid vaccine dangers & failures with Naomi Wolf. Once Trump gave the cue it all flipped. Enjoy your ride to the bottom. Even if Trump was elected he would be a lame duck with zero political capital. Trump caved to the establishment all the time in his first term and your ignorance isn’t bliss.
The MAGA crew did not flip on DeSantis. What they did was differentiate his FL.state record from the national one created by a former president. RDS got good marks for what he did in FL. But, most Trump people saw a big difference in personal style and foreign policy accomplishments between the 2 men. Also, the manner in which RDS got into the race, never giving a proper head’s up to someone who literally gave him a leg up in his initial run for governor, has haunted RDS negatively from the get-go. Furthermore, RDS has noticeably tried to copy Trump’s moves – crashing a wedding party after DJT was filmed at one; going to the border right after his opponent’s visit; visiting small businesses after an event which was Trump’s signature ritual; having a “war room” – sound familiar to Bannon’s War room? RDS has snubbed events in FL, as well, if he felt they would be warming more to Trump than himself.
RDS, basically has no original content to his campaign – it’s mainly a carbon copy of someone he hopes to replace – overtly by the means of a corrupt lawfare agenda, which all unto itself is an unbecoming means to the presidency.
I’m also not offended by the misuse of your professional labels. Again, always relying on your doctrine of cult behavior is too thin a retort to be offensive.
“ I’m also not offended by the misuse of your professional labels. Again, always relying on your doctrine of cult behavior is too thin a retort to be offensive.”
Be honest, Jan. You will not support DeSantis at any point now or in the future. You view him as a disloyal failure. You trash him nonstop. If Trump is the nominee and loses, you will support him in 2028 even if he looks more out of it than Biden does now. It is ironic that you punish anybody you deem disloyal to Trump when Trump has no loyalty to anybody.
1. Biden will become I’ll after trump secured the nomination and be replaced for health reasons. Whitmer in MI is the compromise candidate. Not the woman of color VP, but not the wealthy white guy from Ca.
2. The rangers played an amazing game against the Bruins and won on a spectacular goal in OT. I keep waiting for the fairy tale to end, but it doesn’t. They only lose to crap teams.
3. Ironic how Haley is considered establishment. In August 09 I was in Atlanta with Cruz, Rubio, Haley and cucinelli (VA). All four were long shots. Rubio down 50+ points to plastic two face, Haley was fourth in the polls in SC primary, Cruz the same and Cucc was an after thought. All were darlings of the “far right tea party.” While there Rubio got a call from a big donor, the rest is history there, and both Cruz and Haley surged based on their conservative credentials s.
Haley is a conservative still…but not fully loyal to Trump, so of course she must be a liberal. I’m actually with Jason here. The BLM comment makes me not trust her. If she had stayed strong and not changed with the wind I think she’d be a strong candidate.
Not sure Trump Can beat Whitney in Mi, Wi and PA, but GA and Az without a doubt he can take her. BUT (and here’s where it gets interesting) if he can take Nevada then it all comes down to the one electoral vote in NE-2. He flips that and it’s 269-269 with the republicans most likely to have a 26-24 effective advantage in the house.
Imagine if that’s how he’s elected. It will be chaos and the lefts head will spin off its axis.
“Trashing RDS non-stop” is not the intent of my posting. However, the acts and actions of his campaign have not provided much material to praise nor speak positively about. The latest episode sees another resignation of a key figure in his inner circle – Jeff Roe. He joins a number of other recent resignations from equally important staffing positions.
”Following a scathing insider report of the turmoil within the campaign and SuperPAC for presidential candidate Ron DeSantis, chief strategist Jeff Roe resigns.
It is stunning to contemplate the starting point of $269,000,000.00 [and more since] has essentially done nothing except destroy the public image and brand of Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis. No presidential campaign has ever amassed such a proactive funding war chest and blown it to smithereens before the first votes have even taken place.”
I believe DeSantis to be the best candidate. He has been a fine Governor, and if nominated, he would win, and then win re-election, for 8 years total of prosperity and healing for this country.
Trump was a good president, but if he wins, could only give us four years. I think the choice is easy in the GOP primary, and that is to vote for DeSantis. Most Republicans it seems disagree with me. I think they are wrong-headed and short-sighted. But that’s the way it is.
I will enthusiastically vote for Trump in the general election.
“It is stunning to contemplate the starting point of $269,000,000.00 [and more since] has essentially done nothing except destroy the public image and brand of Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis.”
This is another lie Jan is posting. Of course using the Washington Post hit piece on RDS. Considering the MSM is working with the Trump Campaign it doesn’t surprise me. 😂
“I believe DeSantis to be the best candidate. He has been a fine Governor, and if nominated, he would win, and then win re-election, for 8 years total of prosperity and healing for this country.”
Exactly…it reminds me of when I voted in my first Presidential election in 1980 for Reagan. It could be the biggest missed opportunity for the GOP in my lifetime.

That’s how disgustingly corrupt our media are.

The Golden Calf is well positioned if Trump falters…a distinct possibility.
“But there is something interesting to note about voters’ second choice, as revealed by the survey. While Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina Governor and U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley have remained within a couple of percentage points of one another overall, DeSantis is the second choice of Trump supporters by an overwhelming margin, with tech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy a distant second and Haley in third.
When asked their second choice, the top picks among Trump supporters are DeSantis 50%, Ramaswamy 20%, and Haley 14%.
Given, that may not matter ultimately, as it doesn’t appear that Donald Trump is going anywhere (but up), despite every shred of lawfare his detractors can dredge up — and the kitchen sink — being thrown at him. But given the rough and tumble nature of the primary thus far, and the not-so-friendly rivalry between those in the Trump camp and those in the DeSantis camp, it is rather interesting to note that 50 percent of Trump’s supporters nevertheless prefer DeSantis as their second choice.”
JeffP, the excerpt I posted was sourced from the Conservative Treehouse commentary (not the WAPO), who later added excerpts from the Washington Post. DeSantis’s campaign has long been criticized for how they early-on mismanaged their huge donations. What you call “lies” are just uncomfortable facts you don’t like. During the 2016 run, for instance, DJT had a shoestring budget to throw at a campaign. It was said most of his staff would sometimes squeeze into one car running around from rally to rally. DeSantis chose another route because of all his immediate cash, and many donors publicly chafed at his excessive expenditures.
I personally see RDS in trouble but not necessarily “done.” Sometimes people get insights and strengths, during low periods, enabling them to turn their fortunes around.
Responding to criticisms that Trump didn’t drain the swamp or reduce the size of government as expected, his term was one of progress not perfection”
LOL
Trump will never drain the swamp because that is where he came from. Do you think Trump ever read anything by actual conservatives or engaged in any conservative think tank or was involved in anything remotely promoting conservatism before he became President.
No, he was a liberal Democrat whose circle of friends and business partners were other liberal Democrats. He was pals with Hillary Clinton who sat at the front pew of his wedding to Melania. He was contributing hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Dem Senatorial Committee to elect more liberal Dems. He was funding Hillary, Schumer, Harry Reid and other Dems.
Trump made no effort to “drain the swamp” because he is a swamp creature himself. His rhetoric is just designed for sucker morons like Janzam. Trump comes from a NYC liberal crony capitalism background where he was more than comfortable his whole life.
Reducing government? Puhhhleeze. Trump is a huge fan of big government, deficits and endless printing of money. Trump is on record as saying “I am the king of debt” and “just print money” to deal with the deficit.
Again, if you want someone who is an actual conservative and has actually engaged in draining the swamp and reducing the size of government, support the Golden Calf.
Neither will happen with Trump, it is just not in his Dem DNA.
Damm, NBC is worse than the Russian state media Janzam and Tina get their Putin talking points from

@NBCNews
Sen. Ben Cardin’s office has parted ways with a staffer who conservative news outlets alleged was shown in a leaked video having sex in a Senate hearing room.”
1. Video was not leaked, it was posted
2. Conservative news outlets didn’t “allege” anything, the video speaks for itsel.
I think my favorite political worldview quality of RDS is his understanding of the dangers of the woke mind virus in all its manifestations, tentacles and its impact on our country.
He gets it….without sounding like a conspiracy theorist he can communicate the dangers effectively … WEF, CBDC, DEI, CRT, mass immigration, Climate craziness, medical tyranny, Blackrock, etc…all of it. He took action at the state level regarding every one of them. Very impressive.
It will also be the worst loss if he is not nominated.
Shipwreckedcrew
@shipwreckedcrew
Ever notice that the NeverTrumpers have said for the past 12-18 months that Donald Trump will never be elected again. No chance; more than half the country hates him and will never vote for him; no matter how bad Biden might be the campaign will remind voters why they voted against Trump in 2020; blah, blah, blah??
Those save voices now in the same places online and in conservative media are now saying “If the voters re-elect Trump … blah, blah, blah.”
If you haven’t been paying attention to those GOP establishment outlets for the past year, all were 100% convinced that eventually another candidate in the GOP race would consolidate all the anti-Trump sentiment in the primaries, and rise up to challenge Trump in the low 40s because he was “capped” at that level for his support.
Over the past 2 weeks a reality has now set in — none of the remaining candidates in the GOP primary is going to get above 30%. What they have seen is that every drop-out to date has resulted in Trump’s support increasing — meaning he was the 2nd choice for many supporters of those who have dropped out, i.e., they were not “NeverTrumpers.” There is no reason to believe that an oversized portion of the remaining DeSantis or Haley supporters are NTs either.
And they have also now recognized that the general election will be — unlike 2020 — an election that reflects a choice between what Biden has delivered and what Trump left behind.
2020 was 100% a referendum on Trump 8+ months into COVID, with Biden sitting in his basement and being protected by the media.
The difference now is that a significant portion of the electorate IS WORSE OFF now than they were in 2020, and the Biden Admin policies are to blame.
As much as liberals might think the multiple indictments of Trump reveal more about him than the general public might have known, the flip side of that coin is that those efforts also reflect the political corruption of the Biden Admin and wider Dem party to use the levers of power against its political opponent when it fears it cannot beat him in an election based on policy.
Most swing voters vote their pocketbook and the interests of their family.

All but WSJ are opinion sites, Jan. One of my favorite sources is Daily Mail. They are considered somewhat conservative for the UK but generally think Biden is a clown. Political news in the US has always been biased going back to the Stamp Act. I just take CNN, MSNBC, and Fox and figure some facts must be in there somewhere. For war coverage, BBC, Fox, and CNN are ok.
Breaking News – Anything called Conservative Tree House is an opinion piece and no more reliable than if something was from Liberal Tree House or Progressive Pillow Fort, etc.
Jason… “The Golden Calf is well positioned if Trump falters…a distinct possibility.”
“When asked their second choice, the top picks among Trump supporters are DeSantis 50%, Ramaswamy 20%, and Haley 14%.”
That has been consistent in EVERY poll. It will be very interesting to see how that plays out. Primary polling for that “second choice” reason is highly suspect.
If RDS survives Haley and it’s one on one with Trump he has a real chance.
Here is how you drain the swamp and reduce the size of government, in case Trump is interested, which he isn’t.
“On Tuesday, Milei’s Economy Minister announced a series of emergency economic measures. The goal is to balance Argentina’s budget in 2024. The cut is the equivalent of the US reducing its $6.4 trillion budget by $1.4 trillion.
All government employees hired in the last year will be fired. Caputo said this is to end “a habitual political practice of incorporating friends and family before the end of a presidential term.”
All government advertising will be suspended for a year. “There is no money for expenses which are not strictly necessary and far less to sustain with tax-payer funding media which were only created to sing the praises of the incumbent government,” Caputo said.
Reducing government ministries to nine and secretariats from 106 to 54 will cut senior political posts by over 50%, and the number of political posts will be cut by 34%.
Transfers of money to provinces will stop except for the bare minimum. These transfers have previously been used to reward friends and buy political favors. Not mentioned is that the government jobs they supported will also go away along with the transfers.
All public works contracts are canceled unless the project is already underway.
Energy and transportation subsidies will be reduced. The transportation subsidies are essentially a jobs program.
Current welfare programs will continue, but an emphasis will be on paying recipients directly rather than through a web of intermediaries. Payments for child care and food will be doubled.
The Argentine peso is devalued by 54%.
Quotas and licenses for exports and imports are abolished. In the past, businesses had to get government permission for foreign trade. Caputo said, “This takes the discretionary element out of the process of approving imports, guaranteeing transparency. Whoever wants to import can now do so, full stop.”
Taxes on non-agricultural exports and imports will be raised to the same level as those on agricultural products.”
Is Tina stupid enough to think Zelensky gets $62 billion? Sane people know it is weapons and other military aid that is repelling Putin’s vicious invasion.
”Anything called Conservative Tree House is an opinion piece”
Bitter, your statement is also an “opinion piece.” IMO, Sundance, whose blog it is and who does all the posting, is one of the best analysts of world and domestic events. This person is knowledgeable and has a prescience about seeing where events are headed. As for your choices, BBC is ok, but FOX and CNN just babble and are intrinsically biased. I, agree with you about the Daily Mail, being a good source, with also one of the biggest distributions of it’s publications over most other news sources.
As a postscript, the Hoff Brothers run the Gateway Pundit blog, which is heavily ragged on by some people here. However, it gets more news right than wrong, and will accentuate news items, like individual )6 stories and ballot malfeasance in the 2020 election, that bigger more politically correct, liberal media either brush over or ignore.
”Russia is winning the war decisively. The West and Ukraine have shown no willingness to negotiate and there’s no reason for the Russians to negotiate because they’re winning.
With that in mind, it seems likely that Joe Biden will double-down on his losing bet.
The Russians don’t expect the war to be over until 2025. That gives Biden time to deliver F-16 fighter jets and more money and to help Ukraine with its flying drones and sea-drones that can attack Russian vessels and the Kerch Bridge.
Russia will certainly match that kind of escalation by shooting down the F-16s, increasing its cruise missile attacks on Ukrainian cities and destroying Ukraine’s energy infrastructure so that the country will lack electricity and heat this winter.
My forecast is that Russia will not de-escalate because they’re winning. Biden will not de-escalate because he’s senile, is surrounded by warmongers and has no reverse gear.
I do not expect escalation to the point of nuclear weapons, but the probability of that outcome is uncomfortably high and should not be dismissed.”
How much Ukrainian territory and how many dead enslaved Ukrainians are you willing to accept, Jan? Until you answer those questions, your posts are worthless and irrelevant Putin cheerleading.
e Biden administration finalized the most restrictive offshore oil and gas five-year leasing schedule in U.S. history on Friday as the national average retail gas price remains high for American consumers.
The Department of the Interior (DOI), which oversees the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), announced that it is finalizing the leasing schedule, which meets the bare minimum acreage required by the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) in order for the administration to issue offshore wind leases, according to the DOI. The 2024-2029 schedule only features three lease sales in the Gulf of Mexico, with no sales scheduled for any other area off the country’s shores; DOI finalized the plan as the national average per-gallon price at the pump hovers at around $3.10.
Another news site postscript: Epoch News is the only online subscription I have. Their videos, documentaries, commentaries, health and vaccine updates are very informative. Tucker Carlson is also promoting a new website which will be subscription-based, and an extension of what he has been doing on “X.” I will be subscribing to his site as well.
Fundamentally, the information gathering is turning away from corporate and sponsored owned to more of a citizen gleaned news, which seems to shed many of the false narratives imposed upon the legacy news by “others,” especially the government. For instance the Viet Nam war was smothered in distorted reporting, as is the current Ukrainian War. Correspondents on the ground, telling eyes-on stories, are supplanted by news people armed with talking points.
Bitter, I am calling for no more deaths or destruction in Ukraine. Saddle my answer up with a Putin smear, if that’s what recharges your argument to enable an endless war. However, there comes a time when enough is enough.
I hope that the GOP nomination comes down to a one on one contest at some point in hopes it draws DJT out to debate. I really want to hear his answers to todays biggest issues and give account for his 1st term mistakes. Too many softball interviews. One of his toughest interviews was with Meghan Kelly and that didn’t go so well.
Obama being quoted today as saying “Biden could very much lose the WH”. Another indicator that Democrats are preparing to dump Biden’s senile ass. That kind of quote from Obama would never make it into the MSM unless Democrats gave it the go ahead to be reported. They are pulling the plug on old Joe. I’m just waiting on the timing.
Yep, The story isn’t that Biden won’t be on the ballot in November. He obviously won’t. That’s a given. The story is how Democrats go about pushing Kamala to the curb and who they choose to replace her with. I’d say the Democratic governor of Michigan would be the overall favorite as their pick, They need that state to get to 270. It’s a must for them. Funny how idiots get tripped up by their own words.
If the Russians are “winning”, and they won’t negotiate, then wouldn’t it make sense to continue to aid Ukraine, assuming you don’t want Russia to win.(bad assumption, I know).
Hey Janzam, if you admit “Russia won’t negotiate” why are you calling for “peace talks”.
Nikita is loved by the drats. Gee wonder why. I read here she was the most conservative, .”
Funny, I never heard her say she is a Democrat, defend socialized medicine, state that she was “very pro-choice”, or that “the economy does better under Democrats”.
“Pelley: Universal health care.
Trump: I am going to take care of everybody. I don’t care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody’s going to be taken care of much better than they’re taken care of now.
Pelley: The uninsured person is going to be taken care of. How? How?
Trump: They’re going to be taken care of. I would make a deal with existing hospitals to take care of people.
Pelley: Make a deal? Who pays for it?
Trump: —the government’s gonna pay for it.”
Here is what Trump REALLY thinks, when he is not running for anything.
When the 2004 election came up, Trump said he identified “more as a Democrat.” Blitzer asked him to clarify if he meant he was socially liberal. Trump replied: “I’ve been around a long time. And it just seems the economy does better under the Democrats than under Republicans.”
I stated a couple of times in the past few days that the “health” issue was going to be what they used and that Whitmer would be the compromise candidate. She’s not a woman of color like Harris, but she’s also not a rich white make like newsome (male definition used generously) —-plus she ensures MI, WI and PA. Problem is she probably loses NV, gA and AZ…making it 269-269 and trump wins as R’s will control at least 26 delegations in the house
ANYTHING that any R candidate does (besides Trump) that is not “pure” conservate to some means that DWs those R candidates.
And to these people, NOTHING that Trump does that is not “pure” conservative DQs Trump in their minds.
***************************************
If Trump vanished tonight at midnight–totally disappeared, what R candidate for POTUS would you support? Or would you trash every R in comments, not vote for POTUS and let Biden (or Newsome or whoever) cakewalk back into the white house?
In my mind, the candidate I support stands the best chance to win in November, 2024.
That is not Trump.
Speaking of illegals crossing the border. My friend told me a few weeks ago the PHX airport was being used by the Feds and Soros type groups to fly illegals all over the country.
Sure enough this past Thursday we were flying home from my daughters graduation from ASU and as we were standing at our gate. When two black male foreigners approached me who could not speak or read English. It was crazy. They were holding two boarding passes for a flight later in the day to EWR in their hands they were pointing to things typed wanting understanding from me. They had no idea what airport they were flying to or how to locate their flight, time, etc…clueless. There is no way they could have purchased that airline ticket. They had no passports either. Someone must have gotten the airline ticket for them and somehow they bypassed security.
I helped them with the time of the flight which was hours away. I had mixed emotions about the whole thing. I was disgusted but didn’t want to make a scene. My wife would not have appreciated that.
Walt – In a Trump-free primary, I would support Haley or Christie because they understand that supporting Ukraine is a vital strategic issue for the US. It is unfortunate that DeSantis tossed away my primary vote over his weak and dangerous policy on Ukraine. As always, whomever gets the nomination gets my vote.
I am not one to want a woman police officer to take a bullet for me… it goes against my nature to protect her. But these women Israeli IDF soldiers are damn impressive and tough as nails.
If Trump vanished tonight at midnight–totally disappeared, what R candidate for POTUS would you support? Or would you trash every R in comments, not vote for POTUS and let Biden (or Newsome or whoever) cakewalk back into the white house?
Walt, I support the Golden Calf I think he is by far the best candidate for the future of the GOP. I would vote for Trump because he had some solid accomplishments as President, but I think he is the worst candidate for the GE after Vivek.
I can’t support Nikki “you have to feel my pain” Haley because in my view her pandering to BLM ( and her general propensity to pander on any issue) disqualifies her from public office. Same with Fat F–k Christie, an unprincipled turd, not that he will be nominated, he is running for MSNBC contributor. I don’t really care what their political ideology is, irrelevant.
If Nikki “you must feel my pain” Haley is the nominee, I will leave the top of the ticket blank like I did in 2016.
Bitter will point out that I later said I was wrong about Trump being unfit for office, and that means I must be wrong about Nikki “you must feel my pain” Haley.
However, their is a major difference. I really knew very little about Trump. Basically I knew him as a billionaire that had his name on a lot of projects and his cameo on “Home Alone”. I never watched the Apprentice. I think I know a LOT more about Nikki “you must feel my pain” Haley.
I once heard Richard Nixon explain Watergate. He said his actions “seemed like a good idea at the time”. It made sense to me. You make decisions based on available information. I never said I regretted not voting for Trump, I said i was wrong about him being unfit for office, which is different.
“Democrat Senator John Fetterman calls for the United States to ban the CCP from buying American Farmland, and suggests we should take the farmland back.”
This is a BS issue.
“In fact, the total amount of U.S. agricultural land owned by Chinese interests is less than three-hundredths of 1%.”
Isolationist garbage. If a company in the US is owned by China, it can’t buy land?
I have no problem with the Chinese buying land in the US. It is good for the economy. And it is good they are reinvesting their dollars in the US.
To answer that question. In a trump free primary I would Vite DeSantis, then De Santiz, followed by deSantis. Forgoing that, if Haley were at the top of the ticket vs any dem I’d have to Vite for her because I understand the alternative. I don’t like her blm you must feel my pain, as well as some other wishy washy what does the suburban mom poll tell me to do, but she’d still be better than the alternative on 90%+ of the issues.
Christie is an absolute piece of s#%t. Barely, and I mean barely above the Paul’s and Bunu.
I think they may be others who could do a good job, it would just take some time and research
A Texas man is in custody after allegedly striking a pedestrian, whose body flew through the windshield of the vehicle and into the passenger seat, before driving 38 miles to a Jack in the Box with the victim’s dead body still inside, police say.”
but she’d still be better than the alternative on 90%+ of the issues”
I don’t disagree. I just can’t get over the BLM pandering, bridge too far. When you feel compelled to pander to people burning down cities, what else are you not going to pander to?

The latest episode sees another resignation of a key figure in his inner circle – Jeff Roe. He joins a number of other recent resignations from equally important staffing positions.
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2023/12/16/jeff-roe-resigns-from-ron-desantis-superpac-after-staff-leaks-massive-turmoil-amid-campaign-collapse/

A 2024 prediction by James Rickards on Ukraine:
I do not expect escalation to the point of nuclear weapons, but the probability of that outcome is uncomfortably high and should not be dismissed.”

e Biden administration finalized the most restrictive offshore oil and gas five-year leasing schedule in U.S. history on Friday as the national average retail gas price remains high for American consumers.

Fundamentally, the information gathering is turning away from corporate and sponsored owned to more of a citizen gleaned news, which seems to shed many of the false narratives imposed upon the legacy news by “others,” especially the government.

I don’t disagree. I just can’t get over the BLM pandering, bridge too far. When you feel compelled to pander to people burning down cities, what else are you not going to pander to?
