I recorded a 3 part series on the assassination of JFK. I will watch it this week. I did watch a few minutes. It must have been terrible to live through that period. Walt, Tina and Marv probably can recall it. I was born in 1968. I do remember when Reagan was shot but how close he came to dying was not revealed until later.

I watched the series last night. Nothing new if you have watched previous ones but it does a good job into condensing everything that happened that day into 3 hours. One thing that stood out was that it had been drizzling, and had the drizzle continued Kennedy would have ridden with the convertible top up. Probably the window would have been open for him to wave but it would have presented a more difficult shot.
The secret service agent that always appears in these programs, Clint Hill, is now 91 and on oxygen, but you can see he still agonizes over what he could have done better that day. I believe he thinks somehow he should have been able to throw himself over Kennedy after the first shot. but he had stepped off the back of the lead car because Kennedy didn’t want anyone there. He does jump back on after the shots and gets Jackie off the trunk of the car. In my view, even had he been on the runner of the lead car, he wouldn’t have been able to react that fast, there were only 8 seconds between all 3 shots. According to him, Jackie said “they shot his head off, I love you Jack”, not sure I had heard that before.
The other thing I found interesting was the fact Jack Ruby had been in the police station when Oswald was brought in and was passing out cards offering free drinks to the cops at his strip club. It kinda explains why he was allowed to be in a restricted area when he shot Oswald, obviously the cops knew him. In fact, one shouted “Jack, you SOB” right after he shot Oswald.
The other thing good this series is that it doesn’t entertain any conspiracy theories, it only portrays what really happened, Oswald acted alone and was the only shooter.

No way could Gonzales differ so much from the other toupees — or expect such a huge change from 2020 — as to predict that the rural ME-02 CD is “Lean D” for president in 2024 (as redrawn, it went for Trump by 6% in 2020 even as it has reelected its Democratic Congressman Jared Golden in 2020 and 2022, and the other two toupees have the 2024 presidential contest there as Lean R or Likely R) or that the Omaha-based NE-02 CD is “Safe R” for president in 2024 (as redrawn, it went for Biden by over 6% in 2020, even as it has reelected its Republican Congressman Don Bacon in 2020 and 2022, and the other two toupees have the 2024 presidential contest there as Lean D or Likely D).
And I think that the sages at Paladin should reconsider their predictions for the presidential race in ME-02 and NE-02 once the proper predictions from Gonzales are reported.

Biden won’t be on the Democratic ballot a year from now. That should be apparent to anyone paying attention. The Axlerod pice in the NYT telling him to drop out “for the good of the country” tells you all you need to know. The fact that Axelrod has done it publicly and in the MSM press tells you the decision has been made. Think he would have said that without being given the green light by the puppeteers? Also, Axios and Politico both have articles out now admitting the Hunter laptop was the real deal and not Russian mischief. Biden is dead weight, and the insiders know it. They aren’t covering for him any longer. That’s your second clue.
So let me tell you how this goes down. Biden will skate through the primaries as the apparent nominee until August and they see how the Trump trials play out. If convictions hurt Trump in head to head polls Joe may be permitted to stay. If not and Democrats think it will be Trump the Democrats will pull the old switcheroo by labor day – and it won’t be Kamala. Probably Newsome or some blank slate new candidate.

I have been a lawyer for 30 years. I do not think it is a good idea to blast the Judge deciding your client’s case in public but maybe they teach something different in law school now.
