  1. Bitter, when you launched the Phoenix Edition of HHR, my only comment to the format was that the posts weren’t numbered, which meant that we couldn’t make reference to “post #36” or whatever when commenting on what someone said. I was told that it wasn’t necessary, because one could reply to the particular post to which one was referring. I didn’t like the fact that it would result in my post appearing way upthread instead as the most recent post, but I let it go. But now, we’re no longer given the choice to reply to a particular post. Could you see if it’s possible for posts to be numbered?

  7. There are not nearly 500 Americans being held hostage. Some of you people will fall for anything you find in the dark bowels of the internet.

The fact that Hamas has one hostage is horrific enough and demands will of the civilized world to stop them, but let’s not engage in fiction as to numbers.

  8. This is in regards to the number of Jewish-Americans kidnapped by Hamas and taken to Gaza. Israel puts the total number of hostages being held captive by Hamas in the 200s, and only a percent of them would be American citizens.

The number of American citizens in Gaza, most of whom would be Palestinian-American, who are not able to leave because Hamas is standing in the way of their leaving may total around 500, but that does not seem to be what the point about “hostages” being spread online is.

  9. Rick Wilson, who was never McCain’s campaign manager, did not make a comment about Trump today, but back in 2015.

He was speaking rhetorically about the influence of campaign donors and ability to stop a campaign, but it was not something anybody should have said, rhetorically or not.

The main point is how does something that was clearly said back in 2015 get posted online to make people believe it was said “today?”

“The communist dictator of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, orchestrated a new fraud in the primary elections of his country.

The suspension of the primary elections was decreed last Monday, 30, by the Supreme Court of Justice of Venezuela, controlled by judges aligned with Nicolas Maduro. The Court nullified the primary elections at the request of a congressman linked to Maduro.

Jose Brito, a Chavista congressman, filed a motion in court alleging irregularities in the electoral process.

As reported by TGP in August, the U.S. lifted commercial sanctions on Venezuelan oil under the promise of free elections in Venezuela. The agreement involved the release of five opposition political prisoners, while the Biden administration agreed to ease sanctions on Venezuelan oil, gas, and gold for a period of six months, on the condition that Venezuela would allow free elections in 2024.”

  23. Biden has issued an executive order:

“Today we celebrate Halloween, an evening that used to be all about charming jack-o-lanterns, children in costumes, pumpkins, school parties, and such. But in recent years, this holiday has taken a darker turn, with a new fixation on death, violence, and horror. And so with these improvements, much in line with the platform of the Democratic Party, Halloween will become a federal holiday starting in 2024.

We must have this important day set aside to celebrate the advances in slaughtering unborn children–particularly those whose heads are exposed to the world and then their brains are sucked out. We also have advanced in our medical technology to be able to sterilize children and turn them into freaks in the name of gender diversity. This is also a cause for celebration.

At the other end of the spectrum, we continue to work hard toward the goal of euthanizing all middle-class and impoverished adults who reach 65. These deaths will save the environment and provide another cause for celebrating Halloween each year. Death and suffering is wonderful, and a full realization of the American spirit. We are also working hard to ensure all cities in America can be full of death, crime and violence like San Francisco and Chicago.

And so the day to celebrate all these advances in our culture is Halloween, and making this special day a national holiday is long overdue. Join me today in celebrating violence, addition, crime, and death, as the new American dream.

Thank you, and may Satan bless America!”

”U.S. advisors and consultants, along with private sector contractors and multinational corporations like Blackrock, are all beneficiaries of the vast sums of money being dumped into Ukraine. We all know this. So, on one hand it is simple to see why the Ukraine government officials would use the same opportunity to enrich themselves

After all, U.S. taxpayers are not only buying bombs, missiles and bullets with the money sent to Ukraine, we are also paying the salaries and pensions of the same government officials who are skimming the proceeds. The corruption is everywhere, and every entity is participating in the graft, in one form or another.

Zelenskyy’s wife goes shopping in Paris during the war. Where exactly do politicians think she is getting the money to spend on glitzy holiday vacations? Everybody knows exactly what is going on. The glaringly obvious theft is a large part of the contention the American people have with this insufferable effort to fund Ukraine.

During a lengthy Time Magazine article, one of the close and key advisors to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy admitted that the corrupt stealing of US funds is widespread.”

  33. Zelenskyy’s wife goes shopping in Paris during the war. Where exactly do politicians think she is getting the money to spend on glitzy holiday vacations? ‘

    What garbage.

Is there ANY proof Zelensky’s wife used any funds that were not her own? No? Didn’t think so. Zelensky was a very wealthy man BEFORE he became President, which makes him more admirable since he could have retired to a life of great luxury instead of risking his life everyday leading Ukraine against the invaders.

Zelensky was a successful TV personality and had accumulated an estimated $20-$30 million BEFORE he was President, so his wife can certainly afford to spend $50k in Paris on a shopping trip.

    Facts, not lies:

“His main asset: an estimated 25% stake in Kvartal 95, a group of companies that produce humorous shows, which he transferred to his partners after being elected president, though he’ll likely regain his shares after leaving office. Kvartal 95 produced and owns the Servant of the People series, a popular political comedy starring Zelensky as a Ukrainian high school teacher who is elected president. Netflix, which previously streamed the show between 2017 and 2021, snapped up the rights again in March. With estimated revenues of $30 million annually, Forbes Ukraine values Zelensky’s stake at $11 million.

While he does own a flat in one of Ukraine’s most expensive apartment buildings in the center of Kyiv, it’s relatively modest by Western standards. Forbes estimates Zelensky’s entire real estate portfolio is worth $4 million, including two more wholly owned apartments, two that he co-owns, a single commercial property and five parking spaces. Zelensky did own a $4.6 million villa in Forte dei Marmi, Italy as of December 2019, according to the most recent filing by his holding company. He apparently sold it during 2020 (it had shown up in his declarations for 2018 and 2019 but not 2020) along with a small plot of land and 5 hotel rooms in Georgia (popular upper-middle-class investments in Ukraine). The cash from these sales was declared and is included in Forbes’ estimate, but because the sum is less than the estimated value of the real estate, it is possible Zelensky remains a de facto beneficiary or the cash is invested elsewhere.

Internet sleuths, or more likely Russian propagandists, have credited Zelensky with owning as many as five luxury yachts and three private jets, in addition to $60 million of shares in companies like Saudi Aramco, Meta and Tesla.

Forbes found no evidence of such a fleet, and if Zelensky does own stock in those companies it’s hard to believe those shares would be worth anywhere close to $60 million. We estimate he and his wife Olena Zelenska share a bank account that holds roughly $2 million in cash and government bonds. Their other assets, consisting of two cars and some jewelry, are worth no more than $1 million.”

Over 3 times the amount of fentanyl plus other drugs in his system was the cause of death, according to the medical examiner’s report. There was no evidence of any injuries around his neck area. Floyd was complaining of breathing problems when they initially were attempting to put him in the police car. Floyd is the one who asked to be placed instead on the ground. Another, less circulated photo taken of Floyd, when he was on the ground, showed the officer placed a knee on his shoulder, not his neck, to keep him down awaiting transfer for medical attention. However, medics were slow to reach him because of the crowds blocking their immediate access. So, where in this incident did the police case Floyd’s death? Do facts matter anymore?

  48. Sorry, when you put you knee on someone’s neck for however many minutes on someone having trouble breathing and he dies, you deserve a murder rap. If you shoot someone on the top a building and he falls 5 stories, it is hard to make the case the impact on the ground is what killed him.

Just 27% of them say they would switch to Haley.

So, if DeSantis were to drop out today, it appears the largest part of his support would go to Trump, and not to the mythical unity anti-Trump candidate.

For Haley, the numbers are different. Just 12% of those who support her today say they would go to Trump if she were to leave the race.”

When a high ranking aide to Zelensky tells a long established, left-leaning publication that the “corrupt stealing of American funds is widespread,” why doesn’t that spark just a little concern among those obsessively focused on overseas borders rather than on our own? Has Bitter or Jason ever looked for independent news and video coverage of our southern border, showing massive caravans lining the roads headed north to America – predicted to have up to 500,000 a month crossing over illegally until the election? Why, when the Fed is looking to sell $1.6 trillion of our debt in the next 5 months, a move that will surely increase interest rates, is not discussed here because providing for Ukraine’s economy (paying pensions and wages) appears to be more important than helping our economy’s exploding debt? However, the video angle of a knee on Floyd’s neck was distorted, projecting a wrong placement image of the knee. A straight on shot of the restraint move showed the knee was on Floyd’s shoulder, which is why the ME’s report specifically pointed out there were no injuries around the neck or signs of suffocation . 1. About 16 members of the 435 in the House of Representatives hate America and what America stands for so much that they refused to support a resolution condemning the terrorist actions of the Hamas whackadoodles who invaded Israel and committed atrocities.
Never thought it was possible that we would actually elect such a large bunch of haters of America and all we as a nation stand for.
These people should not be permitted to be members on Congress.

    2. We have tens of thousands of pro-Hamas terrorist protestors in the street of U.S. cities denouncing Israel and supporting Hamas “and Gaza” and who give not a peep of protest against the murder of non-combatant Israeli men, women children, elderly–some by beheadings, some by torture, some by being burned alive, some women raped and had their unborn children cut from the womb and stabbed to death. And no peep of protest to the kidnapping by the Hamas whackadoodle terrorists of over 220 people of all ages and from 16 different nations and beheading of the German girl hostage.

These youthful protests have no clue that they are useful idiots that only exacerbate the problems of the world. And these include all those ‘college students’ that Biden wants to make sure they don’t have to pay back any college loan debt. (if any protestors are here on foreign visas or on education visas, they should be immediately sent home (wherever that is) and permanently denied reentry to the U.S. Any college professors who demonstrate in support of Hamas should be fired immediately.

    3. We have colleges and universities in the U.S. who have policies to only have liberal views expressed and forbid the expression of conservative views.

    4. We ignore existing law and continue to allow the foreign invasion of now over 10 million mostly unchecked illegal aliens pour across the southern border in about 2 and 1/2 years. (since Jan., 2021) and this foreign invasion is costing the U.S. taxpayers BILLIONS OF DOLLARS.
This cannot continue without even greater bad repercussions within the U.S.

    5. We have employees of the Dept. of Homeland Security, and the State Department who on social media post “Death to Israel”, “We need to destroy Israel” etc. and they WORST that has happened to them is they have been put on administrative leave (NOT fired).

    6. We have pro Hamas students at Ithica and elsewhere who have posted social media things about how they are” going to bring a gun to campus,” “commit a shooting at the Jewish cafeteria, on campus” and slit the throats of Jewish students” (at least the one at Ithica was arrested and jailed and awaiting trial).

    7. We have a president who made a very poorly thought-out retreat and evacuation from Afghanistan that has emboldened U.S. adversaries and probable contributed to the invasion of Ukraine by Russia and Hama terrorists into Israel.

    8. We have a president whose wrong-headed and foolish foreign affairs decisions and policies have now cost the America public at least $100 Billion in aid to Ukraine to try to fend off the Russians, and another $100 Billion due to the outbreak of hostilities in the Middle East.

    9. We have a president whose energy policies have cost the average U.S. family thousands of dollars a year due to unnecessarily higher gasoline and home heating costs.

    10. We have a president whose exorbitant government spending policies are costing the average U.S. thousand MORE each year due to sparking off double digit inflation and eroding the value of their income.

    11. We have a president who insists there is no increase in crime in the U.S. under his presidency and that there is no connection to the increase of crime and the “social criminal justice reforms made by those in his party.

    12. We have a president whose various departments and agencies are doing all sorts of eye-raising things regarding undermining parents ability and rights concerning their children and their education, and speaking out at local school board meetings.

    13. We have a president who seems (by various evidence) to have been getting payoffs of millions of dollars from foreign countries tied to the Hunter Biden and Biden family criminal enterprise.

    14. We have a president who personally attacks anything and anyone as MAGA republicans and whose government agencies and departments seem to be doing the same thing.

    ####################################################################
AND YET THIS AGED AND INCOMPETENT FOOL OF A PRESIDENT HAS AN APPROVAL RATING OF 42% OF THE PEOPLE IN THE U.S. AND PROBABLY STANDS A GOOD CHANCE OF BEING RE-ELECTED AS PRESIDENT IN 2024.

  70. BREAKING NEWS FOR PUTIN TOADY JANZAM

    Here is the deal.

Even if Zelensky were the most corrupt man in the world, a serial killer, and a child abuser we should still oppose the Russian invasion and the Russian war crimes and we should still aid Ukraine.

Why? Because this is not about Zelensky anymore than the war of Independence was about Washington and the Civil War was about Lincoln.

There is a clear right and wrong here, and the Russians are wrong. There is no moral equivalency between Putin and Zelensky, no matter how many shopping trips Zelensky’s wife makes to Paris. The Russians are the invaders, the destroyers, the rapists, the torturers, the occupiers.

Now GFY and go hug your Putin doll, I don’t care in what order.

  71. Your assessment of “unfit for office” is suspect. Thousands of “Never Trump!” posts and then admitting you were wrong proves that.”

Yes, I was wrong about Trump. I already wrote above maybe I am wrong about Haley.

What is your point? That you were never wrong? Or that if I was wrong about Trump I can never be right about assessing someone’s fitness for office?

  74. Retllaw – your list of American’s stupid left turns was pretty spot on. I think, though, most people don’t really process how radical our country has become until they are personally negatively effected by how much our country has changed (more like backpedaled). For instance a friend of ours, who has a garage door installation business, filled up his truck with gas today, and was shocked by the $150+ cost. His reaction, after voting for democrats, was “Got to get those democrats out of office.” My husband and I were surprised by such an instant political turnaround.

Zzzzzz….. when you are wrong you weren’t certain you were right?

Whereas when I was wrong about Trump the difference was that I was certain I was right?

    I got it.

However, Jason is known for bold, unyielding, uncompromising declarations of certitude. For example, “Never” is an absolute and uncompromising word with only one meaning. Therefore, Never Trump! had only one possible meaning – that Jason would never vote for Trump. Fine. The fact that he changed his mind does not make him a bad person. It just means that his absolute pronouncements are not reliable.

  82. Zzzzzzz…. Bitter is back with lies once he loses an argument.

“NeverTrump” was a movement during the 2016 election, and I indeed did not vote for him, nobody knew if Trump would win or would be on the ballot in the future. Claiming that because I adhered to “NeverTrump” in that campaign meant I would never vote for him in the future is a crock of crap.

Bitter should have taken the win where I admitted I was wrong about Trump’s fitness for office.

But just to make sure, I am “NeverHaley” for 2024. I will never vote for her even if she runs against the reincarnation of Joseph Stalin. But if she wins and proves me wrong like Trump did, I may vote for her in 2028.

    GFY.

    (DC Mayor Bowser objected.)

    Q. Why would Trump authorize troops if he were organizing an “insurrection”?

Trump’s lawyers told Judge Cannon they discovered a June 2023 letter asking DOE to remove Trump’s ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE.” – A few weeks AFTER Smith handed down classified documents indictment.
Trump’s lawyers told Judge Cannon this afternoon they have evidence that the Biden White House collaborated with NARA, DOJ, and intel agencies to determine which documents to include in Jack Smith’s indictment.
Trove of evidence includes “years” worth of security footage from MAL
Evidence of “extensive communications” between White House, NARA, intel agencies and DOJ/Jack Smith prior to the indictment to determine which classified files to include.
Trump still had DOE security clearance related to at least one charged document as recently as June 2023.
•Defense might include the Secret Service as a considered member of prosecution since they have their own security apparatus separate from MAL
