If I was still a R I would vote for the Golden Calf in the primary. I don’t really think he would cut Ukraine off, he (wrongly) is trying to nuance something that requires no nuance. Actually I doubt Trump would either, I don’t think he would want the annexation of Ukraine to happen on his watch. But I think Trump would sell out Ukrainian territory to get a “deal”, unfortunately.

Folks, if you’re even slightly serious about the MAGA Agenda – the one from 2016 – this is the only guy who is actually going to make it happen. Governor DeSantis explains exactly how conservatives need to fight: by outmaneuvering the bureaucracy and reforming the institutions, so they’re no longer hostile to the interests and values of the people. At this point if RDS is not nominated because the GOP primary voters are that stupid I see no use in paying much attention in 2024.

See, I don’t agree with a Republican party that is protectionist and isolationist. It is one of the main reasons I no longer identify with the party. I believe in free trade, I oppose tariffs and trade wars, I believe in an interventionist foreign policy that protects our interests.
But that is where the majority of the Republican electorate is at, and the big mistake of the TDS morons (there are many more) is to associate this with Trump. Trump merely saw this as an opportunity, and while Jeb Bush was talking about illegal immigration as an act of love, “respecting conservatives” and lauding common core, Trump was out there pandering and tapping into an already existing populist sentiment.
And this sentiment will survive Trump, bet on it.

Breitbart, a conservative publication, only picked up and published these other news outlets reports. The fact that Ukrainian extremists refuse to acknowledge such long-standing corruption, weaving it into questioning the level of our aid packages to them, is puzzling.

Bitter, I have never shown any support or love for Putin. He was the aggressor – something I have stated more than once. However, Zelensky’s ambitions to retake Crimea are surreal. He continues to espouse endgames that are unrealistic, only putting the Ukrainians in the trenches and being bombed out through more misery. 43 years, as being the median age of fighting men/woman, is absurd and cruel. In the meantime, Kiev, where Zelensky and the elite bureaucrats reside is relatively unharmed, with night clubs still open etc, and the bureaucratic thievery is still ongoing, according to government aides. It’s primarily a pentagon myth there is any serious auditing of what we are giving to Ukraine as military aid and hard money. Why this is not a front burner issue of concern for us, being that we are the primary funder of Ukraine, is beyond reproach.

You forget Bitter that Biden’s lackadaisical tone with Russia about invading Ukraine provided incentives to Putin to do just that. There were early gestures of peace agreements that were also shoved aside. Along the border of Russia and Ukraine there is a populace speaking primarily Russian, and like the people in Crimea aren’t abhorrent about whose rule they are under. There are far more variables involved than just the black and white ones of wining, losing. I personally would support weaning back aid to Ukraine, giving them more incentives to find a workable solution that would probably involve giving up it’s quest to join NATO and some of the border areas taken by a Russia.
