In today’s society, there is a real push to say
“if you disagree with me, or if you do not affirm my views and lifestyle,
then you hate me.”
and if you “hate” my lifestyle, then you are bigoted.

Almost none of the Palestinians there even voted for hamas btw. the last election was 2006. Half the population is less than 18 so those can’t vote. If you go up to age 30, that’s probably more than 3/4 of the population, and none of those people were voting in 2006 given that was almost 20 years ago.
And Israel had palestine under occupation even before Hamas took over from the PLO(which was manufactured by Israel)
