  1. Zelensky has done little to end it or his people from being annihilated at the front lines,

Jan just continues to sink lower as she blames Zelensky for just not surrendering to Putin. I probably agree with her on more than 90% of issues but her position on Ukraine is sad and disturbing.

  3. Bitter, I can’t articulate my position any better than I have in recent posts made. I have never said anything positive or complimentary about Putin, and yet Putin supporter is all you label me. My concerns have consistently been around our own squandered and mismanaged budget, especially in lieu of how our own middle and working classes are going broke, even homeless. The fact that you worry about the sovereignty of Ukraine, insisting that all their borders be restored, while ours are wide open with millions invading everywhere, seems stunningly hypocritical and insensitive. If we can’t take care of our own, and instead give resources to a country known for it’s corruption, I find that is an asinine way to govern.

  4. Jan- Our border is not secure for one reason. Joe Biden does not want it be secure. That would not change even if Russia had never invaded Ukraine. Why can’t you see that the 2 issues have nothing to do with each other. Do you honestly believe that Biden and the Democrats would be spending the money that is providing military aid to Ukraine would instead be spent on helping Americans? It would not be. You refuse to see it because of your hatred for Zelensky, a man who did not invite the invasion of his country no matter how many isolationist nonsense links you post.

  6. I know Biden has no intention of securing the border. But acknowledging that reality does not preclude my concerns regarding the misdirection of priorities, along with misappropriation of funding to Ukraine rather than addressing our own border crisis.

As for you, why don’t you see and question where our money is going? It’s no secret how corrupt the Ukrainian government is viewed by the rest of the world. However, with this understanding, there has been little oversight as to its distribution. Furthermore, the reports of Ukrainian success have been mixed, with some reports boosting great victories, while others describe a stalemate with the territory taken back fitting between 2 Burma Shave signs, plus a reluctance of youth willing to serve and fight, etc. Consequently, what is really being accomplished in this war except to pacify Zelensky’s zeal to win, keeping Putin’s military dug in until winter arrives, and quelling the rumor of Putin’s imperialistic motives towards more land grabs should he prevail?

  7. Jan can’t have it both ways. She wonders where the military aid is going but also says the Russians have been forced to a stalemate. That is where the military aide is going.

RDS did the best last night in challenging Trump to debate with the rest of the challengers and then challenged him one on one after. He hit Trump on his “terrible” pro life comments and 7.8 trillion impacting our economy. Used both issues as to why he should defend himself and debate with the others.

Faux news was terrible last night. They are so out of touch. RDS knocked it out of park at the end refusing to participate in the stupid “Survivor” game.

“You don’t debate when you are 50 points ahead”

    “Debates are for the JV”

“Trump gets more attention by NOT being there”

    etc.

I am not so sure. If there is one thing that keeps Trump ahead among R parties, the one thing that unites the R voters around Trump, is that he is a fighter. The reason he is up by 40 points is that his supporters believe he will fight for them. When you don’t go to the debate, you are somewhat giving up on your “fighter” image.

    FWIW

“New data, from a CBS News/YouGov survey published Tuesday, show that 79 percent of Iowa Republican caucus voters are either considering candidates other than Trump or have outright ruled out supporting the former president. Just 20 percent said they are only considering Trump.

In New Hampshire, 77 percent of Republicans said they’re looking at candidates besides Trump.”

Our country’s education system is in decline because it’s focused on indoctrination, denying parents’ rights. Florida represents the revival of American education. We’re ranked #1 in the nation in education by US News and World Report. My wife and I have a six, three, and five-year-old.

This is personal for us. We didn’t just talk about universal school choice. We enacted universal school choice. We didn’t just talk about the Parents’ Bill of Rights. We enacted the Parents’ Bill of Rights. We eliminated Critical Race Theory, and now we have American civics and the constitution in our schools in a really big way just like President Reagan asked for in his farewell address back in 1989. Florida is showing how it’s done. We’re standing with parents, and our kids are benefiting.”

And, if he does, will he crash and burn, in a Thelma/Louise fashion as predicted by Phil? Importantly, how will all the faux indictments ultimately affect the success or failure of his seeking to be in the WH again?
However, unlike some here who think Trump is toast and RDS is on the rise, I see no indication of that being the case, thus far, as RDS still seems to be sinking in both polling and donor confidence, and Trump continues to draw large, enthusiastic crowds wherever he goes and speaks. Time, though, will tell who drops out of the Republican field of candidates, and if Trump will be able to weather all the obstructions laid in his path. My vote, though, still remains with Trump. If he becomes a goner, I may not even vote for another candidate (1st time in my life), as I remain unimpressed by what seems to be 2nd tier contenders who will only rinse and wash the same policies driving us over the cliff today.

    – I’d love to see Youngkin run. Period. End of story. He’d beat Biden like a drum in a general election. He’s not a lunatic; he’s not a jerk; he’d perform extremely well in the suburbs; and he would be able to raise massive sums of money. Maybe most importantly, he’d provide a major “turn the page” vibe against an old man like Biden.

However, I’m not sure there’s much of a reason for him to consider the race if he’s going to run the same kind of campaign DeSantis, Haley, and the others have. To beat Trump, Youngkin (or any of the others) would have to be willing to go right at Trump and campaign against him by name. Yes, that means running negative ads against Trump (they always work).

I’ve seen nothing that suggests Youngkin would be willing to run the kind of tough, aggressive campaign against Trump it would take. Alas, this is a hypothetical discussion since Youngkin isn’t going to run. I suspect he thinks he can wait until 2028, but conman Donnie will run again then as well.

Unfortunately, that scenario won’t happen. Youngkin would have to get the nomination and the party of stupid is determined to nominate Trump, perhaps from his prison cell. Anyone doubt Trump won’t be convicted in DC or Atlanta? Jury pools folks. It is as simple as that….and a convicted felon isn’t going to be elected President of the United State regardless how bogus the convictions. You are lying to yourselves if you think he could still win. Also, as I’ve stated before Biden won’t be on the ballot either. Age, dementia, corruption charges, and 38-40% approval makes his re-election most unlikely and very iffy at best. Think Democrats are going to take the chance of Biden falling on his ass for the next 13 months – especially with unlikeable Kamala as his backup. Think they expect his cognitive state to get anything but worse over the coming months? Think they are going to take a chance with that kind of candidate?

Nope, once it is clear that Trump has a majority of delegates locked up, and that he has the nomination in hand, Democrats will draft Newsome. Biden will be trap doored whether he likes it or not. It’s already in motion.

President Newsome, baby…..but hey, think of the message Republicans will send nominating Trump anyway. It will be awesome.

  115. Biden will never secure the US border. Money spent on military aide to Ukraine was never going to be spent on securing the US border. Both can be true.

Jan know this but keeps repeating her talking point.

  120. Zelensky is an admirable man fighting to save his country against a much larger and well equipped invader headed by a despot ex-KGB thug. He is a wealthy successful man way before he became President in an overwhelming landslide and he didn’t run away when he could to live a life of luxury. Instead he is out there risking assassination every day.

Calling him a “grifter” is shameful.

Ukraine deserves our support. It is in our interest to support Ukraine. And we are lucky to have Zelensky leading Ukraine in his fight against Russia’s expansionist dreams.

Both are in our interest. Biden should do both.

But cutting aid to Ukraine and letting Putin prevail won’t protect US borders, the idea that one has anything to do with the other is asinine.

The southern border is open not because of aid to Ukraine, but because that is the policy of the party in power.

But of course the Putin sycophants know that, it is just a borrowed talking point from Russia propaganda their brainwashed minds are attracted to like flies to horsecrap.

  123. True, no link between billions for Ukraine and money to protect our border. Our border will remain open regardless. Democrats have made the calculation that an inflow of millions flooding into the US means millions of future Democratic voters. That means one party rule as far as the eye can see. One party rule or to put it another way, California on a national scale. Democrats in power as far as the eye can see. It’s a means to an end – namely, import voters in order to remain in power in order to remake America. It’s pretty simple. Not rocket science.

  130. Nancy Mace, congresswoman from a purple district in SC, is becoming one of the most sensible members of the House, articulating how opinions change as circumstances change. She voted “no” on carving out yet another proposal of cash earmarked for Ukraine, explaining that the lack of auditing where the funding is going, or even how much of the monies already sent remain. Her constituency, once in favor of sending support over to Ukraine has done a 180, as people’s own financial lives worsen, with inflation being adjusted upward, defaults increasing, consumer spending adjusted downward – IOW, more and more people are saying “enough already!” This has nothing to do with Russian propaganda or talking points (like some here love to inaccurately chide others with), but rather about how dire personal monetary conditions and an overrun border are increasingly effecting the common citizen here in the U.S.

  132. Zzzzzzzzzz Again, not $1 dollar sent to Ukraine would have been spent here to help hard-working Americans or secure the border. If no money had ever been spent on helping Ukraine fight back against Putin’s invasion, our lives would have been exactly the same and Biden would still suck.

  133. Again, I agree that no Ukranian money would go to secure the border. Democrats have made the calculation that doing nothing about securing the border is in their long-term interest. That interest is maintaining and securing power for as far as the eye can see by letting in millions of what they believe will be future Democratic voters. One party rule is their ultimate goal – sort of a California on a national scale. At that point nothing will stand in the way of their remaking of America, It will be clear sailing.

  135. There is some backstory on this Feinstein stuff.

They’ve been refusing to let her retire because Newsom promised to appoint a black senator, but now that the primary is underway he dislikes the black candidates and wants Schiff to be the nominee. Hence if he nominates the black lady she will be the incumbent. Because of this, they have refused to let Feinstein retire until she literally died.

Don’t worry Bitter, Ukraine will ultimately get more money, aid, pension/small business and bureaucrat funding, not because the majority of American people are for it, but because Biden, the Dems and establishment republicans and RINOs demand indefinite aid be funneled there rather than here.

  137. RDS gifted Biden with a talking point during the recent Republican debate, by blaming inflation on Trump (even though it was only 1.4% at the close of his term) leaving Biden to coast on his awful economic record. DeSantis is now aiding and abetting Newsom’s advance on becoming POTUS, by granting him a one-on-one debate opportunity which will only serve to enhance Newsom’s image, as he will surely win that debate in the eyes of the viewing audience.

Take a good hard look America.

The U.S. government abandoned Panama.. the American crown jewel of Latin America.

The UNITED STATES MILITARY compounds are either totally run down or worse, occupied by globalist psychopaths.

We built the canal and gave it away. The first ship to transit the canal after we gave it to Panamá was from China.

Today China has a massive presence all over Central and South America. Your government let that happen. Panamanians love Americans and they are asking, “Where are the Americans?”

This is the old SouthComm base known as Ft Clayton and today the WEF flies their flag.

Are we going to let the CCP and WEF take it all?
