“The indictment describes $480,000 in cash, much of it stuffed into envelopes and hidden in clothing, was bound in Nadine Menendez’s safe deposit box.
Pictures in the indictment show jackets bearing Robert Menendez’s name and a U.S. Senate seal, with the pockets were stuffed with cash.
More than $100,000 in gold bars were found at Menendez’s home, which were allegedly provided by either Hana or Daibes, according to the indictment. Two of the bars were shown in pictures in the indictment.
Selling gold bars to a jeweler
On March 30, 2022, Nadine Menendez met with a jeweler who was friends with Daibes and Hana, according to the indictment. At the meeting, she provided the jeweler with two, one-kilogram gold bars to be sold and falsely said they came from her mother. However, a photograph on Nadine’s phone shows the gold bars marked with serial numbers indicating they were previously possessed by Daibes, according to the indictment.

Poland’s pulling of arms sales is a dramatic turn of events given its staunch willingness to stand up for Ukraine in the past. It’s now reading something different in the air. Its arms sales cutoff was accompanied by Belgium announcing that it wouldn’t be selling those fighter jets it promised after all to Ukraine, either. There seems to be some kind of chian reaction which may get worse now that Congress is getting very skeptical and may not approve all the money for Ukraine that the Biden administration is asking for.

NEW: After “accidentally” forgetting to add the proposed gag order in motion last week, Jack Smith filed it yesterday.
This is the furthest thing from a “narrow” order. It is another contempt trap not just for Trump but those around him including campaign spokesmen. Trump’s only allowable response would be “no comment” or “I am not guilty.”
And the argument about keeping a jury “impartial” by silencing any criticism of the process by defendant and his associates is not just absurd but totally contrary to how every DC judge has handled change of venue motions.
Even amid wall-to-wall news coverage in DC on Jan 6 including nationally televised nighttime hearings by J6 committee, judges insist careful voir dire would result in a fair jury. This happened during Proud Boys and Oath Keepers trials when committee specifically targeted the individual defendants while jury selection was underway.
Will be very easy for Team Trump to refute this argument and merely look up every change of venue motion denial by nearly every judge on the district court. I bet Chutkan has at least one, too.

The Media Hyped a FedSoc Founder Who Claimed Trump Was Disqualified From Running. He’s Now Changed His Mind.
Steven Calabresi – the law professor who co-founded the conservative Federalist Society legal organization – has conceded that Section 3 of the 14th Amendment does not in fact bar former President Donald Trump from the presidential ballot, despite claiming in a much-hyped op-ed from August that this was the case. The Northwestern University law professor had been an outspoken proponent of the legal theory that Trump was barred from running for office on the grounds that he incited an insurrection on January 6th, 2021 – in violation of a Civil War era constitutional provision. It’s an initially floated by law professors William Baude and Michael Stokes Paulsen, with Calabresi quickly popularizing it. Historically, Section 3 of the 14th Amendment was meant to prevent former members of the Confederacy from holding office after the Civil War. The provision, cited by Calabresi, states that anyone who has taken an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution “…as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State..” and subsequently engages in insurrection or rebellion against the United States cannot then hold federal or state office. The three men were originally in agreement that “an officer of the United States” included individuals elected as either President or Vice-President. However, Calabresi now says he believes that the President and Vice-President are not, due to “a technicality in the drafting of the disqualification clause of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment”, “officers” – that term being reserved for positions appointed by the President, rather than the President himself. Additionally he concedes the events of January 6th do not constitute an ‘insurrection’. Calabresi credits former U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey with changing his mind. New Hampshire Secretary of State David Scanlan has already rejected calls to disqualify Trump, via the 14th Amendment, from the state’s ballot.

“ROUGH: Biden 39% Approval…”
**********************************************
It is only going to get worse for Biden because of:
1. his declining physical condition and mental condition
2. continued tsunami flood of illegal aliens on the southern border
3. continued increase in crime
4. continued worse shape of the typical American family whose income is not keeping up with inflation, higher taxes, and higher gasoline and energy costs
And they all know that they cannot run Harris at the top of the ticket.
SO…
QUESTION:
HOW AND WHEN IS THE BEST TIME FOR THE POWERS BEHIND THE CURTAIN TO REMOVE JOE BIDEN?
A. Sometime soon…First step is to “promote” Harris to some other high falooting job to create vacancy in VP. Then have Newsome approved/appointed to be VP.
Then Demented Joe Biden steps down due to “health concerns)
Then dems appoint ____?__ as VP.
Then that becomes your ticket for 2024
(I say 55% chance of A happening)
***B. Continue the “But at least Biden is better than Crooked, Criminal, Divisive MAGA Trump” strategy through the primary process until Biden has secured enough votes to get the nod on the D side for POTUS candidate for 2024.
Then Biden fakes his death or says he refuses to accept nomination (due to health concerns) and D powerbrokers meet and decide who to anoint to fill the now vacant Biden slot.
And they pick Newsom. And Newsom says he needs to pick his own VP and he picks Michele Obama or Oprah Winfrey or someone besides Kameltoe Harris.
I say 80% chance of B happening)
C. When is best TIME to do something like proposed above?
(I guess the timing hinges on how disabled and addle-brained Joe Biden becomes)
1. sometime between now and Halloween
2. Sometime between Halloween and Dec. 31
3. between Jan. 1 and Ides of March
4. between Ides of march and June whatever when the Dem convention is held
***5. sometime after the Dem convention but before the Nov. election day
[I say it will be #5]
6. sometime in Oct just before all the mail in balloting starts.
But it would be too late to print new ballots and the Ds say if you want Newsom and do not want Trump, then vote for the name Biden on the ballot and it will count as votes for Newsom.
And of course you will have court cases as to whether to count ballots for Biden as now counting for Newsom.
And it will go all the way to the SCOTUS and they will rule 8 to 1 (Thomas being the one no) that all Biden votes should count as Newsom votes.

Even more big names in Pennsylvania GOP politics, including state party chairman Lawrence Tabas and former Gov. Tom Corbett (R-PA) among many others, signed a memorandum earlier in September in the lead-up to his campaign launch urging McCormick to run for the U.S. Senate.

On the Dem strategy of having open borders (southern U.S.) and how it is a human rights issue:
1. Can and should the U.S allow everyone who wants to come to the U.S. to enter carte blanch?
NO
2. How many ways can LEGAL immigrants come into the U.S.?
I think the answer is 9 (but it might be 11)
3. How many LEGAL immigrants come into the U.S on average in the last 10 years?
I think it is about 1.2 Million.
*******************************************
4. To those who say it is advancing human rights to let everyone currently coming across the southern border to “come on in”, how is it advancing human rights when:
A. it is enriching the drug cartels in Mexico (now the 5th biggest employer in Mexico) by their controlling the human trafficking into the U.S. and charging from $2,000 to $5,000 for each illegal alien they help get to the U.S. border. And the stronger and more powerful the drug cartels, the more unstable Mexico’s government is. And the drug cartels often behead / kill those who try to stop them or get in their way and terrorize the citizenry of Mexico. How is it advancing human rights when it puts all the people of Mexico at risk? And destabilizing the Mexican government?
B. How is it advancing human rights when because of the mayhem at the border we overwhelm our border security people with processing and turning loose illegals which leads to more illegal drugs being able to streaming across into the U.S. to kill Americans.
C. How is it advancing human rights when the flood of illegals is also allowing more sex trafficking of illegals?
D. How is it advancing human rights when we overwhelm U.S. schools with illegal alien students which sucks off huge amounts (tens of millions) of education dollars to deal with them and less money and resources to deal with U.S. citizens children and their needs?
E. How is it advancing human rights when the illegal aliens require huge expenditures ($100s of Millions) to provide housing, clothes, food, medical care, living money, etc. when so many Americans here have needs that are not being addressed?
F. Advancing human rights when floods of illegal aliens cause higher taxes on Americans to take care of millions of illegal aliens?
G. Advancing human rights when floods of illegals cause higher crime in the U.S.?
H. Advancing human rights to allow millions of illegals into the U.S with duly processing and vetting and weeding out terror threats, those who have diseases, mental issues, criminal backgrounds, or are otherwise threats to the U.S. public, etc.?
I. How is it advancing human rights when by allowing millions of illegal aliens in they take jobs that could be filled by low-income Americans (many of whom are Black)
J. How is it advancing human rights when our own government ignores its own laws?
K. How is advancing human rights by allowing floods of illegals to cause U.S citizens who live near the border to not be protected and to not feel secure in their homes regarding their lives and property.?

SOLUTIONS TO ENDING THE CRISIS CAUSED BY FLOOD OF ILLEGAL ALIENS
1. Build the rest of the wall.
And electrify the wall. And install sensing devices to detect when and where people are digging. Flood the tunnels. Then pour in concrete.
2. ANY and ALL illegal aliens who enters the U.S. will be shipped back to their home country (or to Mexico since they allowed them into their country). (And the cost to the U. S. will be offset by whatever financial aid we provide that country).
3. Any illegal alien who enters who has no documentation on them to show who they are and where they came from will be shipped back to Mexico (since we assume they must be therefore be Mexicans since that is where they came from).
4. U.S. demands that Mexico troops prevent the hordes from getting into Mexico from their southern border and entering the Rio Grande.
If Mexico refuses, then U.S. takes various economic sanction moves and sanctions to punish Mexico.
5. If illegal aliens claim they are seeking asylum from country X from which they came, they get sent back to Mexico until the U.S. can verify their claims to see if they claim for asylum is warranted.
6. Make reforms in our immigration policy to speed up processing of those who are seeking to enter the U.S. by legal means.
7. Enact the policy that any baby born on U.S. soil to an illegal alien, the baby is not automatically granted U.S. citizenship. No more illegal anchor babies.
8. Enact a statute that if an illegal alien comes in, is given a court date, and then disappears somewhere in the U.S. and never shows up for court date–find them and immediately deport them.

Liberal California Governor appeals for help from conservative U.S
Supreme Court in overturning absurd ruling by ding-dongs on 9th Circuit Court of Appeals:
“Gov. Gavin Newsom is pressing the U.S. Supreme Court to review a controversial ruling that has prevented cities from clearing homeless encampments.
In a brief filed to the high court Friday, Newsom’s office warned a ruling invalidating anti-camping ordinances in Grants Pass, Ore. had “paralyzed” cities around California by imposing an “insurmountable roadblock” that effectively bars cities from moving people from parks and sidewalks.
“While I agree with the basic principle that a city shouldn’t criminalize homeless individuals for sleeping outside when they have nowhere else to go within that city’s boundaries, courts continue to reach well beyond that narrow limit to block any number of reasonable efforts to protect homeless individuals and the broader public from the harms of uncontrolled encampments,” Newsom said in a statement.”

Things are not looking good for the Republicans in 2024.
“By Nathaniel Rakich
Democrats just scored a big win in an election on Tuesday: Democrat Hal Rafter defeated Republican James Guzofski 56 percent to 44 percent in a special election to fill a Republican-held seat in the New Hampshire state House. Assuming Democrats win another special election in November in a solidly blue seat, Rafter’s win means the New Hampshire state House will be tied at 198 Republicans and 198 Democrats (with two independents and two seats still vacant). On paper, that will end full Republican control of New Hampshire state government. (In practice, whoever controls the House could change by the day depending on legislator absences.)
It’s also the latest example of Democrats outperforming in a special election, a trend that could be a harbinger of a very good year for Democrats in 2024. This New Hampshire district is 6 percentage points more Republican-leaning than the nation as a whole, according to a weighted average of the 2020 and 2016 presidential results in the district.* Yet Rafter won by 12 points — an 18-point Democratic overperformance above their partisan baseline.
“Hang on,” you might be saying. “Only 2,800 people voted in this election.” (New Hampshire House districts are really tiny.) “Does that really mean anything?” On its own, no — any single special election can be influenced by any number of factors, including candidate quality or parochial issues. But Democrats have been posting special-election overperformances of that magnitude all year long, in all kinds of districts. And on average, they have won by margins 11 points higher than the weighted relative partisanship of their districts.
That’s more than just an impressive streak — it’s a potential sign of a Democratic wave election in 2024. In each of the past three election cycles, a party’s average overperformance in all special elections in a given cycle has been a close match for the eventual House popular vote in the eventual general election — albeit a couple of points better for Democrats.”

1) It reiterates to the world Crimea is illegally occupied by Russia
2) It should be a moral booster for Ukrainian civilians and military that Ukraine is able to mount offensive operations.

Since almost all the Democrats and at least 130 Republicans support Ukraine funding, the motion will pass:
“$300 million for training Ukraine’s troops will now be voted on separately.
‘I just voted NO to the rule for the Defense bill because they refused to take the war money for Ukraine out and put it in a separate bill,; Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., typically a McCarthy ally, posted on X after the second rule vote.
The separate vote on Ukraine aid would likely pass and even attract Democratic votes, unlike the defense spending bill itself, which was loaded up with conservative policy riders. But this way anti-Ukraine aid lawmakers like Greene could vote for the defense bill and against the aid for training.”

This why the “attacking Trump” is a failed strategy for his primary opponents. It is not only Republicans who think he was a good President. While he was at 38% approval when he left office, now 48% approve of his performance as President.
This is why you have to run as a “better Trump”, not the “anti-Trump” if you want to win the nomination. Also the age factor can be used against him, since 50% of Americans think he is too old (vs. 74% for Biden). Call it the “better Trump and younger” strategy, perfect for the Golden Calf.
“President Joe Biden’s job approval rating is 19 points underwater, his ratings for handling the economy and immigration are at career lows. A record number of Americans say they’ve become worse off under his presidency, three-quarters say he’s too old for another term and Donald Trump is looking better in retrospect — all severe challenges for Biden in his reelection campaign ahead.
Forty-four percent of Americans in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll say they’ve gotten worse off financially under Biden’s presidency, the most for any president in ABC/Post polls since 1986. Just 37% approve of his job performance, while 56% disapprove. Still fewer approve of Biden’s performance on the economy, 30%.
On handling immigration at the U.S.-Mexico border, Biden’s rating is even lower, with 23% approval. In terms of intensity of sentiment, 20% strongly approve of his work overall, while 45% strongly disapprove. And the 74% who say he’s too old for a second term is up 6 percentage points since May. Views that Trump is too old also are up, but to 50% in this poll, produced for ABC by Langer Research Associates.
Such is down-on-Biden sentiment that if a government shutdown occurs at month’s end, 40% say they’d chiefly blame him and the Democrats in Congress, versus 33% who’d pin it on the Republicans in Congress — even given the GOP infighting behind the budget impasse.
Trump
Trump, for his part, has improved in retrospect. When he reluctantly left office in January 2021, 38% approved of his work as president, essentially the same as Biden’s rating now. But currently, looking back, 48% say they approve of Trump’s performance when he was in office — matching his peak as president. Essentially as many — 49% — now disapprove, down from 60% when he left the White House.
Comparison with Biden may be a factor. Among the 56% of Americans who disapprove of Biden’s work in office, a wide 75% say that, looking back, they approve of Trump.
It’s also notable that Trump has an even split in his retrospective job approval rating even as most Americans continue to reject his assertion that the 2020 election was stolen from him. Sixty percent of Americans instead say Biden legitimately won, and an additional 12% have no opinion; 29% think Biden did not win legitimately.”

A poll released Sunday by ABC News and the Washington Post has President Trump leading Joe Biden in a 2024 rematch, 52 percent to 42 percent among registered voters. The survey was taken between September 15-20 of 1,006 U.S. adults, including 890 registered voters, with a margin of error of 3.5 percent. While the Post hedges in their reporting on the poll that it could be an outlier, other questions in the poll indicate the bottom is falling out for Biden while Trump is gaining support as the public now has a direct comparison of their respective presidencies almost three years since Trump left office. Biden’s approval stands at 37 percent with 56 percent disapproval. Current opinion on Trump’s presidency in the poll is 48 percent approval and 49 percent disapproval.

They either didn’t do their homework or they simply don’t care. A standing ovation for an ex member of the Waffen SS is where western politics is now.
Who were the Waffen SS?
The Waffen-SS, was the armed wing of the Schutzstaffel (SS), which was a paramilitary organisation under Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party in Nazi Germany. The Waffen-SS was distinct from the regular German army, the Wehrmacht and was responsible for combat operations during World War II.
They played a significant role in various military campaigns and were involved in numerous war crimes and atrocities during the war. Its units were involved in combat on multiple fronts, including the Eastern Front against the Soviet Union, the Western Front against the Allies and other theatres of war.
The Waffen-SS was closely associated with Nazi ideology and committed numerous war crimes and atrocities during the war, including the Holocaust. After World War II, the organisation was declared a criminal organisation by the Nuremberg Trials and many of its members were prosecuted for their roles in war crimes.

Donald Trump is not an approved candidate for the interests of Wall Street, the multinational corporations, the globalists (writ large), or the Billionaire class who depend on trade and financial systems they control.
Joe Biden is going to Michigan because he needs to close the gap. President Donald Trump is going to Michigan because he needs to widen the gap.
Just like Team Obama and the DC Administrative State, I do not think Biden can close the gap, and that frames my expectation that Biden will be replaced.
They don’t need a replacement that can win, they just need a replacement that can lose in key states by enough of a margin that can be covered by the ballot fraud operation.
Last point, within the billionaire wing of the Republican apparatus, they are now increasingly ambivalent about the GOP primary. The main tone/theme that comes out of the circle of professionally GOP billionaires, is that Trump seems inevitable, Trump will likely win, but their failsafe is that a DC republican system will not allow Trump to have the power of the presidency.

“The speaker of Canada’s House of Commons apologized Sunday for recognizing a man who fought for a Nazi military unit during World War II.
Just after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy delivered an address in the House of Commons on Friday, Canadian lawmakers gave 98-year-old Yaroslav Hunka a standing ovation when Speaker Anthony Rota drew attention to him. Rota introduced Hunka as a war hero who fought for the First Ukrainian Division.”
It was the Speaker of the Canada Parliament who recognized Hunka, and later apologize for it. The attempts by posters on this board to attribute this act to Zelensky are totally bogus. It is flat out lying.

Jeff P. did himself no favors on this topic. He made himself look as ridiculous as the people who claim that Trump is some sort of hero have looked on here.
No matter how much Jeff P. tries to suck to janz and tina on Ukraine in order to get them to join him on the sinking Ron DeSantis ship, it will never work. They are fully committed to the Trump/Putin cult.

Howdy All!!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend.
I wanted to bring up a different subject, who do we really believe will be Trump’s VP. I think even the most “hopeful” of those who are against a Trump nomination have to come to grips with the fact that he will probably win the nomination (Please note, I would have preferred he didn’t, that he could have acted like an adult, and backed a candidate with a better chance to win…but that is just not going to happen)
So…who would be
a. the smartest pick for him in the GE
b. who will he actually pick
Let’s hope this is one where “both are true”

OOOKKKKKKKKK, so sorry about the multiple posts, Ive finally figured out the system, anyway, I hope that doesn’t drown out my original question, which was,
who is going to be Trump’s VP if he gets the nomination…and who would actually accept. This time I think its very important to win over the “fence” voters in GA, AZ, PA, WI, MI, NV
Haley – pleases a lot of people, pisses off his base, I think she accepts
Lake – Please no
Scott – interesting choice. Not sure he accepts
DeSantis – never going to happen, neither would want it. Would be an interesting team though
Noem – I don’t think she brings enough to the ticket, but she might bring some women onboard
Who else is there???

I wonder why Zelenskyy is not holding elections or allowing freedom of the press? Why is he in bed with the WEF?
I know it doesn’t matter.
It’s so easy for Americans who don’t know jack shi+ about what what really impacts some other countries citizens and what THEY think is in their best interest.

My answer is C.
Let the people in Ukraine decide by holding free and fair elections and allowing a non censored media and freedom of religion again.
I think this is the best answer according to our countries values. You have a problem with that… GFY.

I understand why Noem isn’t running in 24. Will she run as an adulteress is 28? The way the GOP is going it probably won’t matter.

The Republicans lost big on Debt Ceiling, got NOTHING, and now are worried that they will be BLAMED for the Budget Shutdown. Wrong!!! Whoever is President will be blamed, in this case, Crooked (as Hell!) Joe Biden! Our Country is being systematically destroyed by the Radical Left Marxists, Fascists and Thugs – THE DEMOCRATS. UNLESS YOU GET EVERYTHING, SHUT IT DOWN! Close the Border, stop the Weaponization of “Justice,” and End Election Interference – WE MUST HAVE HONEST ELECTIONS. It’s time Republicans learned how to fight! Are you listening Mitch McConnell, the weakest, dumbest, and most conflicted “Leader” in U.S. Senate history? HE’S ALREADY GIVEN THE DEMOCRATS EVERYTHING, THEY CAN’T BELIEVE HOW LUCKY THEY GOT. WE NEED NEW, & REAL, REPUBLICAN LEADERSHIP IN THE UNITED STATES SENATE, NOT A CLONE OF MITCH, & WE NEED IT NOW!!!

Stunning numbers among Dems in RCOR’s new poll on free speech and censorship:
47% of Dems say free speech should be legal ‘only under certain circumstances.
34% of Dems say Americans ‘have too much freedom’
75% of Dems say government has a responsibility to censor ‘hateful’ social media posts
Only 31% strongly agree with the statement, “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.’
